Enable/Disable USB Charging - Palm Treo Pro

Hi,
is there any way to disable charging when the Treo Pro is connected via USB ?
I knew (from the Touch Cruise) there was a checkbox under System|Battery to en/disable the charging. But I haven't found this checkbox on the Treo Pro.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance
Holger

How to disable usb charging?

disable usb charging - did u find a solution??
hi Zwuncki,i want to avoid charging my HTC Uni when connected to laptop. I searched the Reg for 'usb', 'charging' ... Nothing. Did u find a way?Thx

USB keyboard works perfectly, but...

... I only get the english layout.
I use the 4-in-1 cable and the docking station (which is absolutely great), and then connect the keyboard with the Norwegian letters (æ, ø and å). However, these don't work when I type.
I'm guessing there's a setting or a registry setting that needs to be done. Anybody know where?
Thanks!
Have you tried the regional settings in control panel (or settings as it is called in Windows Mobile) ?
I double checked, it's set to Norwegian...
sorry, mate,
I didn't get u. do u mean u r plugging a normal usb keyboard into Athena ? with a adapter for mini USB port?
No, I use the 4-in-1 cable or the dockingstation. They both have a "normal" USB port. And I connect a normal, norwegian USB keyboard using the "normal" USB port on the dockingstation or 4-in-1 cable...

I haven't tried one but a problem that may occur is that it appears that only very low power USB devices work on the 4in1 cable. The risk is that the transmitter / receiver in the base unit may require too much juice.
Let us know what happens if you decide to try it.
Still no tips on changing the locale settings for USB keyboards?

[Q] How do you connect a bluetooth keyboard with a usb to a nexus 10?

Hi
I want to be able to also connect my bluetooth keyboard with USB to my nexus 10 device.
My device is rooted and I have an OTG cable.
When I connect the bluetooth keyboard to my nexus 10 from micro-usb --> USB --> micro-USB my device recognizes the USB connection but not the type of connection (no driver). So it doesn't see that it's a keyboard. I was wondering whether one of you smart IT people knows how to make my Nexus recognize a bluetooth keyboard, it does recognize a normal usb keyboard.
I already googled it (and searched on this forum) but I couldn't find a solution.
Thank you in advance for your attention and time.
If you are wondering why --> it's because I think a bluetooth keyboard will drain more battery than a usb keyboard.

Are you sure the keyboard works as a USB keyboard when connected? Usually the USB port on bluetooth keyboards is only for charging which might be why you haven't had any luck...

one way to check this would be to plug the USB cable into a PC and see if the keyboard works there or not?
