PC outlook2003/7 email auto-complete entries on pocket pc - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

i depend too much on the email auto complete on my pc. is there a way to transfer the autocomplete to my pocket pc. adding eveybody to contacts is stupid and not practical
if there is no easy way to do that, then i believe its a good idea for someone to develop an application to do that.

no, as outlook 2003/2007 rely on an outlook.nk2 file in your windows profile for the autocomplete addresses, essentially an outlook addresses cache, where as windows mobile references its autocomplete right from your contacts list, without a proprietary cache file.
from everything i have seen in Windows, the .nk2 file is not etiable, or readable in any editor, so the options of importing it into WM seems remote.

jeez... this is crazy.

take it easy nir. i was hoping to get someone intrested in developing this tool as it can be really usuful for far too many people. if a mod thinks this is not good here he should transfer it elseware
two things
- my pocket pcs does auto complete for addresses that i have used before they dont have to be in contact
-there are tool that can edit the outlook.nk2 from NIRsoft(lol) http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/outlook_nk2_autocomplete.html
how hard can it be to simply add the email adresses from the nk2 to the word auto complete in the ppc

Right......
Anyways, nir is right, this is something you should have posted in the Q&A section. Why is this a point you must argue???
I'm still trying to figure your problem. You don't feel like adding the contacts you email in your contacts list? Works fine for me!

i have over 1000 entries in my PC outlook autocomplete cache(as the nk2 tool shows)
i want to make use of these entries on my pocket pc. i always find myself in a position where i have wait untill im in the office to send an email because i dont have the address in my contacts. i really hate adding contacts that i will not constantly use as they tend to slow the system and make searching harder.
- i did not mean to disrespect nir of anything like that. not sure how you got this impression.

actually the software linked above can create a text file with all the entries. whats left it to feed this file to the ppc auto complete. anybody willing to help with that?
am i the only one who finds a utility like this very useful

i'm lost.
and ... what?
yes, i'm jewish. what's your point?
and please, post your questions/problems in the Questions & Answers section.
that's all i'm saying. i just happen to run into 20 new threads a day and it's driving me insane.

jeez, are you really a moron???
You must be if you rely on the .nk2 file for your auto complete. That is one of the quickest files to get corrupted on windows. So much so that windows will automatically delete it if it does become corrupt. It was never ment to be a feature, just a conveince. That is about as stupid as buying a 1tb hdd and never backing up.

let's not fight.
let's live in peace.

mr.incredibly stupid. take your incredibly arrogant, irrelevant and usless answer elseware. if you are too stupid or blind to see how something like this can potentionally be usuful to some, then i feel sorry for you.
in the first post i asked if someone was willing to develop a small utility (in my second reply i asked to transfer this if the mod thought it was in the wrong place) . i got trashed because part of my original request "sounded like a question" i think your all are making a big fuss over nothing. almost non of the replies is usuful up till now.
nir, i just thought that it was weird for a jew to say jeasus...it was a crappy joke and you all made it even crappier by dragging it on for ever instead of making an effort to reply to the request.

SMS Password

Alright so everyone can prob agree... We have all these sweet ass phones that we mod ourselves to give it our own touch. Well don't you hate it when people go to see your phone and they're all like, "Hey let me see that, it looks sweet!!" blah blah blah... then they go and look in your text messages. Kinda annoying when I let someone play with my device and they try to get into my personal business.
Well basically what I am asking with all the talent out there... Is there a simple program that someone(s) would be willing to try to create that makes our SMS passcoded. Basically anytime you want to go into your messaging folder that includes your inbox, sent, outbox, drafts... that they need to enter in a simple 4 digit passcode. I bet I'm not the only one that would like this program....
Thanks in advance!
i would love to have something like this...not just for sms but for all programs. i remember my first cheap phone (motorola) they have this feature to block/allow apps and be passcoded. it would be great to have something like this....just a question as if its a popular request i guess....
great idea!
i love this motorola function, i'll love to see an application to do this on our phone.

I have been wanting this since I pulled my Tild out of the box. Couldn't find it so I eventually bought this;
http://imate-smartphone.handster.com/product.php?id=521
It's okay, but as I said in another thread it can be a little *clunky* to use. And I know I paid WAY TOO much for something that should eb relatively simple.
yea...ive been wanting a program like that for a whileee!! i know somebody out there can develop a nice simple program that ask for a password for certain app...

Been trying this out for a while today... works pretty good... Just kinda plain and boring looking though. So if anyone is still up to the challenge to make something very similar but maybe a little more modern looking.
Hey all,
I agree with the fact that this type of software could be in high demand. I am not a developer myself, but I did design a Wisbar theme called VistaMobile, so I would definitely be willing to skin the program if someone could do the coding. I really love this whole PPC scene (started with an MPx200 Smartphone about 3 years ago, now using an HTC Uni), and I really want to give back and be a part of something more than the VistaMobile theme I had created.
I should also be able to host the file with a dedicated page on my protogenLabs site, if any developers are out there and wishing to team up.
That might just be wishful thinking, but regardless, it would be great have a stylish version of this type of program. More and more people in North America are finally getting used to Windows Mobile being somewhat mainstream, so I think it's a good market ready to flourish!
Sorry if I went on a bit of a tangent, but I'm all for a program that would do this sort of thing.
PM or contact me from my protogenLabs page if you are a dev interested in partnering up with a designer for ANY projects really...
Thanks!

We need a simple software to ask for a password when entering messaging. That's it, no funky lists and fluffy software. May the Force(of developers) be with us
glad to see everyone agrees with me, its nice to think that this is something that everyone would enjoy as much as me. So developers check this out! There's to be no talk of WAREZ on this site.
You should try reading the rules
11. Don't get us all in trouble
Don't post copyrighted materials or do other things that will obviously lead to legal trouble. If you wouldn't do it on your own homepage, you probably don't want to do it here either. This does in no way mean we agree with everything Hollywood, the record companies and the software piracy lobby try to impose on us, it simply means you cannot break any laws here since otherwise we'll end up dealing with your legal hassle. Please use common sense: respect the forum, its users, and those that write great code.

i don't think so... i think a simple password prompt for accessing SMS/Email messages would be cool.. problem is, all the software currently out there is bloat and full of extra stuff that most of us don't need.
this can probably be done with mortscript but again, it requires additional installed programs..
i'm still looking around, but there isn't much in terms of what we're looking for.
now if we could only get some interested coders in this thread to whip something up
eye on privacy is a good one... theres alot of other stuff like a "safe sms" inbox that stores txts you don't want other people to see when you enter a 2ndary password. It can also lock dialing functions, call history, contacts, calender, tasks, and notes.
Then it gets into some really paranoid features that no one will ever use unless you're 007.
The pin screen that comes up when you go to your inbox is very finger friendly but the one that comes up when you go to the program to set the password and change settings is not.

Yes, use search and don't post new threads.
What is with all of these new threads and posts by people that obviously haven't searched? BLAH.
Well, just to give the benefit of the doubt, try VITO's SMS-Chat (not free). PocketCM is probably the slickest Threaded SMS that's FREE, so I'm sticking to it for my needs. However, many of VITO's iWindowsMobile programs seem to um... "draw inspiration" from tene's PocketCM suite, and thus, the iPhone. Check them out.
Edit:
@curious george
I have to give them the benefit of the doubt the first time I see it from them. As a beginner I was initially intimidated by the elitist behavior of some board members here.

Dude, no doubt. Look and your and I's join date versus the number of posts or threads we have started. Its amazing. Don't get me wrong I know I did it as a newb too but dang. It is getting out of hand. before long all of the worlds best devs will leave this site for lack of control!!!
FYI, giving them answers in these new repeat threads only goes to encourage the behaivor.
i really don't agree with the search before posting attitude some people keep implementing.. especially on how the search function of this forum suck..
have you ever tried searching (in forum search - not google forum search, which is way way broad) with the keywords SMS or GUI in a string? it will never give you a helpful answer because the search disregards words less than 3 letters (to filter out articles and/or/at/etc i presume) and returns you with bull**** search reports (and how can you ever search for SMS anyway)..
also, since this is a forum, and a thread contains numerous posts, search engines tend to patch up words from different posts and construct them to a phrase as a result matching your querry..
another point is, since most of these people are noobs.. they don't actually know what they are looking for.. c'mon guys.. how can you search for something if you even don't have any clue on what you are searching for..
like his query, he's looking for a pocketCM style SMS.. maybe he is reffering to is a THREADED SMS style, which a newbie obviously wouldn't know (how can someone new instantly know that a chat style SMS is called a threaded SMS anyway?)..
or maybe he is looking for something that is VISUALLY and FUNCTIONALLY the same as PocketCM's SMS function but without the Contacts part - how can you even translate this querry into search keywords?
he's not been in the forum for ages like most of some people here, so even old stuff for us, will sound and feel new to newer posters..
for us, searching for something like threaded SMS is very easy since we have already passed and read all these threads reagarding SMS and we ALREADY HAVE A HINT on what (product name or keyword) to search for.. so don't expect everyone (especially newbies) to find his answers in his first few hours of searching..
given that.. the next best thing to do.. is ask those who already know..
maybe the best response to these posts is to give them hints on what specific keywords you are going to use for a fruitful search.. and not flame them to damnation..
this is still a forum.. and a forum is defined as an online place to Share Ideas and Help One Another..
even if this is a developer forum, which surely is True to sharing and creating ideas (or softwares) - no doubt, the notion Helping one another should never be disregarded..

Partially true. The evil you are describing is a turn earn system. The reason why this site is getting so difficult search is because tollerance has allowed newbs to continue to post new threads with out any restraint and it spreads the answers to common or frequently asked questions everywhere. IMO what needs to happen is a requirement needs to be established for new threads to be started. That would solve it.

Right on brother, some people tend to get a little too big for the britches and forget that forum etiquette goes both ways. I've read some pretty mean posts, and I really don't get why people have to talk down to the noobs. All I'm saying is if you wanna help someone out, great! That's damn decent of you. If you don't want to help someone out then don't, but keep your rude comments to yourself.

Hence why I explained SMS-Chat. There's no point if this thread turned into a discussion thread over the merits of searching, but I do know that there has been an absolute backlog of uninformed posts that could easily be searched. Often times, I even see posts stating "too many pages to read, so i'll ask this again..." or "i'm too lazy to read this whole thread, can anyone just give me a quick answer..." or "i'm new here. i want my phone to look like the iphone. i found some links, but i don't know what a cab is. this is getting annoying "
It's frustrating. Another example is the SPB Mobile Shell 2.0 Skin Collections thread. It states in the first post that the thread should just be for skins, yet I see way too many posts saying "Thanks" and not much else. I'm against flaming myself, but I'd just like to point out that afarinella97, the OP, has actually been a member of this forum for longer than I have.
Btw:
VITO SMS-Chat
Palm Threaded SMS
Birdsoft Extreme Text
Windows Mobile 6.1 Built-in Threading
Like I said, I stick with PocketCM. There have been requests for the developer to make the SMS standalone, but nothing's occurred yet. Have fun texting!

As a matter of fact poophead, I do search and I search often and frequently. And yes I said poophead not because I'm a 3rd grader, but alas because you're a poophead. All I was trying to say is be nice, us "noobs" search more than you think.
As a recent newbie, I do feel obligated to say a few things here:
Things to do for newbies:
1) Read
2) Read
3) Read
I discovered the site (from a link on fatwallet) after I bought my tmobile wing last October. Ever since then I was doing a lot of reading (more than what I do with my major - my advisor absolutely hates that, and so does my wife too), and learned a lot about the roms, terminology, great apps, etc.
I do not discourage asking questions, but I do think as newbie the question should be asked INTELLIGENTLY, which comes from a person who has done the reading and given a lot of thought about it. Frankly, I think OP's question is one of those.
As for the rest of us (elite, non-newbie, etc), a question should be judged by the quality, but not by the question mark. OP's question, for example, he/she understand what he/she is after, but don't quite understand the details which is OK. Given a few hints then he/she can start searching for the real thing. Azimuth21 has given some examples of bad questions and those should definitely not tolerated.
In general the question should be asked at the appropriate place; either the thread that directly concerning the topic (like PointUI, pocketcm, S2U2, etc) or at the general section of this forum. After all, the general section is there for this purpose.
Wtf is wrong with people here?
The thread has become an off-topic ranting thread already.
Best approach for such questions would be to either not reply or answer it without ranting about not using search and go.
Eg.
Newbie:
"hello to everyone, there is a program like pocket cm but only for sms?"
Reply:
"Tene (the developer of PCM) did not provide a separate module of PCM for just SMS, in other words, it's not possible to get just the SMS feature of PCM. You can try looking for Vito SMS (commercial app) or upgrading to WM6.1 for the threaded SMS style. Good luck."
See how simple and peaceful that is? And you have provided all necessary information. Can't we all just get along?
Like a famous dev here once said: "There are no stupid questions, just offensive answers."
because people dont know HOW to search properly. when you click search at the top here you can use the forum search and type in sms and click ONLY search the thread titles. this GREATLY reduces the numbers of hits for the word sms which would be hundreds of threads. i just typed threaded sms into google and got a slew of good programs right on the first results page- iwindowsmobile, palm's, txtman, etc etc.
People honestly dont try because i bet everything i own there are at LEAST 10 similar threads of this exact same topic out there with the answers too. How many times can the same basic questions be asked and answered? This just dilutes the real content of this developing forum which is for new programs and hacks and such.
all threads like this end up doing is making even MORE search results confusing the next batch of noobs with even more results when trying to search.

Well, WM6.1 has exactly the same feature as a standard...
And doubling what Azimuth21 said, I'd rather stick with PocketCM.
And.. my penny for the discussion: exactly, as DaVince said - if you don't want to answer, do not.
I agree that all the searching difficulties arose from not keeping the forum clean, but now it is done, you can't reverse it.... searching for something so generic is almost impossible here.
Newbie
As a newbie myself I can say that at first it is not common sense navigating the forum. I found that just reading through the pages (new posts, hermesm6 etc.) and being patient some other ignorant sap had the same questions and concerns I had. Us newbies just need to be patient and enjoy the process or READING and not just come here to suck out what they need and not enjoy the forum. There are so many things of interest here and to just spend all this time looking up an sms app. Anyway, hope the newbie can flash, I had the same issue. for me it was a memory consumption issue with pocketcm. I like the 6.1 threaded sms due to its intergration. I would also suggest searching for threaded sms as this is what you are really looking for. I don't think you are looking for anything sms. Also when searching try to select show posts only this seems to work well for me. Enjoy the ride, Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaad!

Now I found these all on the very first page of the forum.
So I'm going to use a quote that is been used many times on the forum.
USE THE ****ING SEARCH TOOL.
it's there for your pleasure.
also, just browse around and who knows what nice things you may find.

Well, there is this thing about this forum.
You see, lots of people are building nice little programs for windows based phones, and there are many things that they didn't think of, because they didn't think that their keyboard was a really big problem.
They did find it a problem to have a keyboard to use with their fingers, because ot wouldn't leave enough space for their text mesaging.
battery life, it's seeded on the forum about that object.
and I did see a program that helped closing programs for you, but you might just wanna try start -> settings -> taskmanager -> buttons, maybe this already helps you
Everything on this forum is free and everyone is very willing to help you, but not if we see a question for the so maniest time.
What I propose to you, is if you are looking for something, but can't find it, make a request.
make perfectly clear what you are looking for and how this could benefit you.
maybe one of the programmers might see the benefit as well and wants to write someting for you.

Well the answers you have got show just what an unwelcoming and unfriendly place this is - certainly one of the worst forums for that I know. But then lots of useful info too, and that is the problem. Despite the "in crowd" people's suggestion the search tool is marginally more useful than wetting your finger and sticking it in the air, unless you are used to it!
Just a shame nobody has any Christmas spirit for newcomers aint it!
Hmm, I see what you mean.
Funny thing is, I didn't mean it to be this harsh, but as I read it back, I see how easily it is to provoke people.
So hereby I apologize to Hawk-Kthulu
I'll also will use the f word some less in the future.

W I N D L Es To Do List

I'm on a mission! These are the things that I want to change on my x1. If you know of a way to fix any of these then please please please let me know how.
Here they are in no particular order
1) Auto Que text messages
By this I mean.... if I try to send a text message with no signal I get a big nasty red message saying something along the lines of Message Was Not Sent. Try again? and a loud annoying beep to follow
What I want...... Is to be able to hit send, jam the phone back in my pocket and get back to what I was doing. Happy in the knowledge that if I didn't have signal when I sent the message, it will automatically re-send as soon as I walk into signal.
2) Find a free way of making video calls (I can only get skype to make voice calls)
3) Skin the text messages or find a text message panel to make it easier to use and less ugly
4) Add a storage card shortcut to my start menu
5) Stretch the landscape pin entry to full screen
6) Get the OK button to actually cancel and close things
PROBLEM SOLVED With WkTASK I can hit the x button then select "close" or "close all"
7) Stretch the landscape keyboard to the full length of the screen
PROBLEM SOLVED With Finger Keyboard 2 the keyboard is stretched across the full length of the landscape screen. Plus I no longer have to sharpen my thumb nail to a point to be able to send a text message
8) Totally Remove today screen lines (not just change the color)
9) Play Game Boy Advance Roms in full screen landscape mode
10) Remove "today" and recent programs icons from the start menu.
11) Stretch the top right cross button
I have installed gtrabs SEX1 "F" series Task bar icons and I love them. id also like to stretch the x at the top right of my screen to twice its width. To make it easier to press.
PROBLEM SOLVED With WkTASK I have skinned the x button its not allot bigger but it dose make it easier to press.
12) Make it easier to change tracks whilst driving
I have a sat nav style phone holder that sticks my x1 to my car windscreen in landscape mode, with the buttons out. I connect my x1 to my car stereo and pump out the tunes via my car speakers. But with the media experience panel its so hard to change tracks without looking, the button is so small its dangerous
PROBLEM SOLVED The driving panel is more than what I was looking for it has mph, track shuffle, sat nav button, and perfectly sized volume, track skip, and pause buttons, Xuanlong got it to me 10 days before it was released!
13) Stop the experience panel changing color I want it to stay ocean blue

Where did you get the on the road panel from??
(Pre Release) On The Road Panel
(Pobierz = Download) right click, save target as. some people have problems downloading I managed to get it to work on Internet Explore. Other new panels here but are reported to be a bit buggy.
On the Road Panel looks great, but the navigation button/config does not work
Where can I get my TT maped to the button?
now, that's just lame... this problem fixed by someone @ sonyericssonx1.proboards.com... it sort of sounds like:
'the xda community has once again proven to be unfriendly and unhelpful but thanks god someone at proboards helped me out there, so why don't you guys and gals all come along and let's help ourselves by posting links to stuff that's on xda'
come on dude, you could have just read through topics on this forum to see what's out there that might be useful or used the search option, most of the issues you had and wanted resolved were quick hits
To make the reply box larger in messaging you can use Total Commander to search for and edit the file thread_sms.htm in the windows directory. It's a hidden file so make sure you have 'show all files' checked when you search for it
Look for this line:
<inbox:content id="COMPOSESUBECT" width="98%" height=35 spell focus count .. .. ..
Change height (in this case 35) to 70 and you get 3 lines for text replies. Just change the numbers and see what works for you and soft reset after editing the file...
Still an ugly interface but much easier to use. Mine is set at 140.
Sorry, but I had to post this. I saw the other shameless plug for your site on another thread as well and didn't bother to comment. I hate people who say "this looks like an ad" and "you should use search"... but this looks like an ad and you should use search.
I personally don't really care if you want to share your website with others, my only issue is that you should give credit where credit is due.
Might want to change your post to read "problem solved thanks to X @sonyericssonx1.proboards.com WITH solutions that could have easily been solved by using the search function from XDA developers" since most of those tools came from here anyway (apart from the driving panel. wktask is a japanese program, but it was adapted into english on these boards).
But to be honest, if you cant use the search function here, it's probably best to post elsewhere anyways.
PS most of your other points can be found here as well. Just use search.

Classic QFT.
Like I said before, I have no problem with you and your board, but don't rub it in our faces every chance you get.
Again, most of these questions can be answered fairly easily using XDA search.
As I imagine it can be hard to do the storage card shortcut, I'll give you a hint on it. On your phone, navigate to \windows\start menu. There you'll find a whole lot of shortcuts. Copy and rename the extension one of them to .txt and open it. You'll see a nice and comprehensable path there. Adjust it, save and rename back to .lnk. You're all set!
For the shortcut problem (storage card): why don't you try the easiest way "copy"->"paste as shortcut" in File Explorer. That's the most standard way to create shortcut.

Damn you dudes are harsh. He has an awesome site. It's like XDA-dedicated to the X1. Give him a break?? He doesn't get paid for anything, and spends alot of time on that site; only to contribute to the X1 family.
And the comments of [email protected], come on?? No one here knows who some1 is if he just like posts 'xuanlong' or so, but he refers to one of the members of his site. I can tell you now that you wont find all of the contributors and be able to pm them if he just gives their nicknames?
Place yourself in his position before posting your 'comments'.
Have respect, keep your thoughts for yourself

very very debatable... um, actually, very not true
Jeese, some of you guys are like spoilt little kids,
All this guy has done is to take some of his time to make a site dedicated to the X1 and simply gives you links to other websites that have some cool programs on them. It is actually very useful for people who dont have the time to go searching through all of the XDA site.
XDA is a good site but can be difficult to find things relating to the X1 specifically through the search when you only have 5 mins.
You guys are just slating someones hard work for no reason, if you dont like it then don't go to it and dont comment on it.
RESPECT!!!

Ah wow dude, thanx. Someone actually understands and realises this dude's work. It's so much simpler to get around on his site.
I admit, nothing will beat XDA, but this site is dedicated to the X1, much more userfriendly and easier to find things.
All we need is more members and contributions, and that site might become the number 1 Xperia site.
Just take a look at his site. If you don't like it, your loss. And keep your comments for yourself. If you do like it, help out a bit!
Thanx for the GREAT site W I N D L E. Don't give up

As for you other lads who feel like being windle's knight in shining armor, you're behaving just as bad by "bashing" those who oppose his website. Not everyone has to like it, but they have just as much right to post they don't as windle has right to post about it in the first place. Basically, I'm pulling a "right back at ya" here - if you don't like their posts, ignore them!
Besides, he's still advertising his own site, with links to this site, on this site! Doesn't that strike you the least bit as odd?

Resco Contacts. It'll reskin the dialer, the call registry, your contacts and messaging.
PointUI Pro (unreleased).
Touch-IT v4.5 - The new Touchflo pretty much covers over the Winmo interface entirely.
There the ones i've used, others might have other solutions. Touch-IT is the best, but of dubious legality. PointUI will be great eventually, but it's still in early stages. Resco is OK, needs work but it's perfectly useable and better than the standard Windows Mobile stuff.

Gee, how could anyone find XDA unfriendly and unhelpful? I wonder... do you think... it could be posts like that?
Again, I love XDA, it's got good stuff, but all too often, on receives replies that are not friendly or helpful. My opinion is, if you dont have something worth while to contribute, dont bother replying, if it's just to tell them to search, or complain, etc.
And there's nothing wrong with giving a little credit where credit is due. I've seen plenty of links on other sites and blogs, crediting users at XDA in a similar manner.
Since you've already acknowledged some of XDA's perceived flaws, perhaps we could try to improve that image, rather than just taking shots at another site?

APP request - grol testing software for windows mobile

Hello everyone. I am a second year electronics student and am now working for my General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL). I am looking at having to memorize the answers to just under 700 questions. Its rather tough lol. The reason I am here is simple. I have searched and searched and have not found any software for my touch pro that will help me study for this test. I don't know how to write programs but I know that many of you out there do a phenomenal job. I am looking for someone that would write a program for me that would quiz me on all the questions for the GROL. In fact I believe that if one where interested in making a few dollars he or she could go all out and make a program that creates a full exam from the test question pool, then watches which ones the user gets wrong and makes sure to ask them more often. It would also be cool if a pop up window came up explaining the proper answer. I also think it would be nice to have a screen at the end showing results. I know at first this seams daunting but I do have software that came with my book that is close to this and could send you a copy. Also, the entire question pool is listed on the fcc website. It wont let me post the link here but if you contact me by email i can find it for you.
The GROL only requires sections 1 and 3. The only other program similar was marked at $40.00 and for the pc. Nothing has been found for the PPC where it makes the most sense. During random downtimes a person can do a few random questions here and there. I believe that if made to look nice with a nice touch style interface someone could post this to windows marketplace and sell it for $20.00 easily and make some nice cash on it. I would learn to program and do it myself if it weren't for the fact that I am in class now and need it ASAP.
Thanks in advance for all that entertain the thought of taking this on

It's not exactly what you said, but maybe you can use SuperMemo UX & SuperMemo Mobile. It's free software, but you will need to build your own course.

I know this is an older post. And I knkw what you mean, and are talking about. I am changing career fields into Avionics, and a classmate has an app for his (cry)Phone. But in the Google Play Store, they have some, but they are expensive for what it is ($19.99 and $12.99). I can't find anything except crApple. Absolutely no Android. I can't even find anything where someone ported the CD that is in the book over to Android and other platforms. I have coppied the files from the CD to a folder on my computer called "GROL." So I didn't have to have the CD in my computer the whole time. I'm going to graduate at the end of this month, and I only have Element 1 done. Partly its my own fault for waiting until now. But either way, I'll have 3 & 8 done. But it would be nice if I could take the studying with me when I have life going on and not by my computer. Lol
Android surpassed crApple, and yet we still get kicked to the curb.
