Hide today screen softkeys

Hi Guys,
Im looking for an ez to use app that would allow me to hide the bottom softkeys on the today screen but keep them active without having to do reg tweaks. I've searched high and low but no luck. Thanks.

yes there is i have included it as attachment download it and then copy it to \Windows\startup folder this if u want that it should start automatically after a softreset if u don't want that then just copy it to Program folders and execute it from there thie soft key will disappear but reappear if u open file explorer or any other prograam but it will disappear once u are in today secreen !!!

I used the dcinobar and really like it. I would like to get rid of the system tray as well, but do not want to use kaiser tweak to do so. when i used that i killed me twice!. Is there any other way to do that?

U can use PHM traylaunch there u can see all the icons that are in traylaunch u can delete or all of them and tray will disappear or u can also try the tray display cab it is a prograam that will ask to display tray or NOT !! feel free to try try first PHM tray display and then the cab see which one is the best.

i registered at this forum just to download it
it was exactly what i needed
now my spb diary can be seen in full without the scroll bars..
now if i could just find a way to alter (not remove) the HTC Home today plugin i'd have myself a ball ;p

Hi. it's not workin in wm 6.5, it just hide the softkey text, not the whole bar, any solution?

Both noDciBar and PMC TodayShrink aren't working... They'll work when they want and start when they want. Are there any others?

Yea this! I've tried Dci, PMC Today Shrink and nueNoBar(Nue worked for a few days then stopped) anybody got any idea's? I just want the bottom row gone only on the today screen, other apps are okay to show the bottom keys.

Bluetooth Toggle As Today Plugin

Is there any application that makes putting bluetooth toggle as today plugin possible in WM5 ????

download and install batterystatus. Very easy to find as it is all over this forum. Go to the options and select the Tray Launch Tab. You will be able to add bluetooth,wi-fi,phone, as well as many other options to the tray at the bottom of your screen.

found this somewhere, i have it installed and it works good.doesnt take up much space either.

As an alternative, Vijay codes up a bunch of really handle utilities, and one (VJvolubilis http://www.vijay555.com/?Releases:VJVolubilis) can toggle BT. Then all you need is a today screen shortcut to his prog with the right suffix. cLaunch should do it if you want it on the today screen instead of the tray, or even create a drop-down menu controlled by a hard key with something like WM5NewMenu. All these are free, but I'm sure the developers would love a donation!

Theres a registry hack on ppcgeeks that enables that and wifi on your today screen if I find it i'll post it

I have been searching for this for a while now. I have started using phone weaver and turned everything else off but BT. See cab and thumbnail. In thumbnail look in bottom right corner of today screen for activated BT! I would like this to happen without running Phone weaver, seems to take up a little more memory than I would like for this type of app, but it works great and I am happy with it. Just what I wanted, if I could actually get rid of the few little icons to the left of the BT I would be VERY happy thats my main gripe here...

ciclebt.cab.... and assigne to hardware button. or use as app via applauncher programs.

You can use btIO-mini (see attached file). In this zip there are 2 files.
I made this for 2 reasons. The first is to have a quick toggle via HTC Home integration, and the second ist to be able to turn on/off BT via voice command.
1. bluetooth.lnk -> put this in your \windows\startmenu\program files\ folder
2. btIO-mini.exe put this in \program files\btIO\
3. Make a shortcut from your favorite launcher today-plugin to btIO-mini.exe
Make a softreset, after that you can use voice command to turn on/off bluetooth.
There is no visible indication, like pop-up or message box that tells you which state BT is. The program just looks in which state BT is and if it's off it turns BT on in connectable (invisible) mode, and if it's on it simly turns BT off and exits.
So this is not exactly what you asked since it is not a today plugin but maybe it will help you.

That is "wireless" plugin for today. only shopwing operator anem, wifi and bluetooth status..
BUT you cannot toggle with it.

Remove "Start" Text?

Hey guys, I've been searching the forums and can't find a way to remove the start text. How do I do this?

I searched a while back, couldn't find out how to do that either. I also wanted to removed the gradient background behind it on the home screen. That would allow me to use smarttook kit's auto-hide feature. Free home some home screen space and add a pretty cool affect. I don't know if it's in the registry or not, but I looked on my Excalibur and couldn't make it happen. I also tried a few things in the homescreens xml file. Still drew a blank.
Hopefully someone knows how to do this.

Possible in one of the "today*.dll" files. I tried to copy to desktop so I can take a look but can't gain access.
Anyone know how to get system files off a device?

Touch HD Home screen

Hi,
I've just been looking at the Touch HD and the Calendar on the home screen allows more than one entry. Unfortunately I'm not a dev so I was wondering if anyone has a ROM in progress with this feature. I know I'm not alone in thinking this a major loss in M2D. If it could include tasks it would be even better, I like the first screen I see to have all the info I need for that day. I know I can use SecondToday (and do) but that's an extra key press from seeing everything I need on screen 1.

i have the elite 3 rom and i can see 2 entry on the home screen. i think that more is not possible with qvga...

have you tried changing the setting in today screen options/items... selecting calender and chinging the setting there?

Calender will only show the next, as in one, per default. You can change that in settings for the home screen

so please show us that we must change.

Today settings.

Hey people.
I've got some trouble changing my today settings. Im using the stock rom.
If i go to Configuration->Personal->Today->Items and check/uncheck options it doesnt save the information. Does anyone know a way to fix this?
And i've been trying for ages to fix a new theme by making it myself or customizing the theme that im using atm. I keep getting a TouchFlow error. It wont start up after installing a theme or changing the theme.
Can anyone help me out?

As long as TouchFlo is checked then anything else you have checked will be covered by TouchFlo & you won't be able to see it. The only way to see it is to disable TouchFlo by unchecking it.

I haven't tried it myself but take a look at SecondToday by Chi-Tai (who brought us BatteryStatus)
