Has anyone ran into anyplace where you can purchase the HTC Raph back shell cover?
I heard it isn't as glossy/fingerprint magnet as the Euro version.. more rubberized.
www.cnn.cn doesn't have anything listed, not even a TP.

Still, $33 is a lot of money for rubberized plastic, especially if I'm not even 100% certain it'll fit. And I want to see an accurate picture before I plunk money down.
My TP has rubberized back. Bought in Norway.

My Touch pro is completly rubberised, no shine or gloss at all on the back and it's the EU model, bought in the UK

I forgot to mention that I have the Fuze
All that someone needs to do is see if the European Touch Pro cover fits the US AT&T Fuze.
Doesn't anyone have access to both phones to test this???

if someone has a dremel tool, maybe u can fine sand it, and leave the triangle that says HTC and around the camera/flash untouched, make a rectangle shape around the autofocus text, then take it to the mall to one of those dog tag kiosk that can itch your name or logo on the back like laser itch, i think that will look cool...
while ur at it itch ur e-mail/contact info on the inside of the cover in case it gets lost!!

Found This case on ebay, think i can just use the back part on my fuse?
I saw the one on ebay too, but how come there is a big triangular hole where the camera is? How are you supposed to cover that or is it just left open?
I believe they want you to transfer it from your existing hardware... But, with my luck I would screw it up and not have a battery cover at all.

That goes over the battery cover? or "is" the battery cover?
either way ebay seems to be the place to go for that kind of think, if it exists its on ebay

However, a user on the forums made some really cool laser etched backs with this design.

For the price you'll also get the front cover (which is hard to replace). However you'll also get the chrome piece which will scratch in time too I assume..

No, there are only full housings, but at 30 euros a set it isn't that expensive.
You can't change your black X10 to a white one with only this cover. The area around your touchscreen is black where the white one has a white area. So you'll either get a Panda looking X10 or you have to buy a completely new screen/digitizer.
LOL, PANDA )))) I really wanted do try this panda look because I dont want to have phone like everybody and I think that it would look cool But with whole housing I dont know who is willing to change it for me and if I do it myself then I will void my warranty. So I really wanted to make it 2 colors With this whole housing I would get white phone, like original right ? Is it hard to swap housing ?

No one wants black one since white is VERY rare, both of our operators are offering only black one and then you can imagine how bad I want white one I will look at this guide but I doubt that I will do this, it is very hard.

the RGB led mod has been discussed. so you could have more than orange green and red. lol. but I don't think anyone ever did it

There is www.skinit.com and it does what the link you posted does and they support the cdma hero.
I dyed my phone black (or the cover, iv yet to have time for the front side), its actually easy and pretty cool.

actually, colorware doesn't make skins, they physically disassemble the device, paint it, and clear coat with their UV protection, then reassemble and make it look like it came that way from the factory.
Yes, YAKST(Yet another kickstand thread), but I have searched the forums and nobosy has done this.
I recently purchased a dummy HTC Evo from ebay for 20 bucks(a), now the idea here is to take this thing apart and extract the kickstand assembly(b) from it and pry it on an HD2 rubberized case(c), and hopefully it'll look something like(HTCEVOHD2.jpg).
I'm going to buy some tools to get this done, I'm thinking a dremel type tool and a glue gun... any ideas are welcomed!

Will post actual pictures of the mod, maybe a youtube video... Check back soon, as I am impatient and will try to get this done in the next few days...

I dont think the back of the Evo would work on the hd2 led flash are on different sides

I'm only using the kickstand assembly which can be detached, nothing else.
Well... Maybe the logo, if I can get it off...

Hey thanks... I did not anticipate how thick the kickstand assembly is, now I know why the Evo is a mini fridge... I need to get a tool to cut the rubberize case with precision, does anybody have any ideas what i should get?

yes, if you like to modify, hack, and customize stuff to your liking, then a dremel is definitely a tool you would like to have

Just realized today that there is some dirt under the glass screen on the top left corner. When the screen is on, it is hard to notice. But since I plan on selling this phone to get my next one during the summer, I want this thing to be mint.
Do you know if Sprint will replace my entire phone or will they just replace the display in-store? I hope it's the latter...
BTW, any chance of getting a White EVO replacement?

I only play white night when I can tell people did it on purpose.
It's pretty clear no bad intentions here.
But as a side note I've got the same problem and right now having a battle with sprint trying to get them to fix it. They are seriously being pricks.
I think I'll threaten to move to verizon.
That'll get them going.

I would say that sprint will switch it for you if you complain enough, and to the correct person; however there is zero chance of a white evo unless because of the variance in SKUs.
I have had the screen replaced twice on my Evo for dust in the upper left corner. This defect was corrected but the scecond screen I got was also one of the originals. The third I have now appears to be the one with the revised gasket.
Youre going to get hella flamed, but meh, its the internet.
Anyways, YES sprint will replace it. They replaced a friends evo for dust, and my sisters hero that had dust. I plan on selling mine to get my next phone too
