General question about touch screen of the HD

Hi I have bought a Blackstone on ebay,I have noticied that the touch screen have a little gap between the top of screen and the screen below.When you press the screen going down for about 1 mm it's normal?, I don't know if you understand me, my english it's very bad...

The Blackstone has a plastic guard over the 'actual' screen. This will push in slightly. Sounds fine mate.

It shouldn't be like that. True, there is a tiny distance between digitizer and lcd, but NOT 1mm

I daresay there was a bit of an exageration in the original post to be honest, i agree with what you say though. How would you explain it to someone if you had the issue? The screen goes down 0.15mm? A bit hard to assume in these cases i believe. It seems exagerated, If it really was 1mm, the cover would be away from the phone yes?

1mm it was a approximate distance, may be it's less than 1mm I think, but you confirm that it's present a little distance between the first layer of the screen and lcd.

Yes mate, there is a slight gap between the screen and digitizer.

Replacing TFT screen with AMOLED?

Is it possible to replace my Blade's TFT LCD with an AMOLED/SAMOLED screen (Not OLED)?
I know OLED screens get burned but nothing happened to my sister's Samsung Galaxy S+ which is AMOLED.
I know how to replace the screen but I just wanna know if the TFT LCD board will support an AMOLED screen?
Also do you know any brands of AMOLED's which work with the Blade?
I don't have to replace the Digitizer, right?(Usually there is a gap between the display and Digitizer, but in AMOLED this isn't there... )
Anybody who has done this before?

[Q] What is the REAL thickness of the Razr m/i

Hey, I noticed during some videos that the thickness of the phone decreases towards the bottom, and now I was wondering if someone could give me a little insight or impression on that.
Is the thickness of the Razr m (8.3mm/0.33in) measured at the top or bottom?
and if its measured from the bottom, how thick is the top?

Mine measures:
10.6mm / 0.42" at the top edge
9.04mm / 0.35" at the bottom edge of the screen bezel
There is a very slight raised bezel on both front and rear of my phone, so the thickness shown here is measured across the edges of those bezels.
Measured from the surface of the screen to the kevlar rear panel, it's slightly thinner since the lightly raised bezels are out of the picture:
10.2mm at the top, tapering to 8.4mm at the bottom
Hope this info helps. For what it's worth, my RAZR M is 2.398" wide (looks like Moto/VZW must round down!) and 4.822" tall.
On my scale, it's 125g or 4.41oz.

It is possible that this is a failure in the loca glue between the digitizer and the glass.
I think there is nothing to do against it.
The only thing you can do is to change the whole display.
But this option isn't cheap and not easy.

The Pixel width of the curve.

I am curious about the the resolution of the flat area of the phone and the resolution of the curved portion.
Anyone know the answer?

They are not separated screens if that is what you think.
