Red and Blue Skins

in addition to laser21 Thread . I Made a Red and Blue theme as requested..
Copy the files inside the Zip file to your phones \windows folder..
BE AWARE; this will replace the original skin
Feel free to use them in your Themes...

just Copy the files to your windows folder on the phone, but be Aware it overwrites the green skin

The red one is really nice, but too bad it doesnt change all the green colors. Would you be able to fix that too? (would be registry settings i guess...?)

Too bad the OP did not found the solution to replace the remaining green back grounds. I used the Red skin for a time and was looking forward to find an update.

How do you update the files in the windows folder, tried with file explorer but access was denied, probably because they are being used and could not see the window folder via active sync?

thankz man, waiting for the full skin soon, a goos suggestion is to apply the changes to the silver beta skin instead of the diamond skin. That way it all matches now

lovin this! Put it on my diamond and to my surprise, its for qvga devices, so its tini-tiny...
u think you could do a batch conversion and just double (200%) the size of everything so it'll work on Diamonds?

i didn't even click the images lol, i just loaded it up

i meant this in his text: "splash_225x150". This can`t be a splash screen in vga

I'm sorry! It is only for QVGA displays. Now I create it for VGA and change all icons in skin.

How to install a theme?
Intall TF3D Config
1. Create a file named "theme" on your internal storage. Put the file xxxxxx.theme inside
2. Open TF3D config and go to the tab "Appearance"
3. Press "path" on the top of the screen.
4. Choose the folder where you have put the .theme file.
5. Choose your theme in the section just below the button "PATH"
6. Press APLY and OK.
7. let the PPC works and press OK when it's finished.
Soft reset.
I'll not answer to any more questions about the installation. Follow the instruction on the thread of the TF3D Config

Just tried both your new ones, and i have to say that this is my fave of the 2.

you can install Hotspot Shield Launch first, and then you can download from 4share

Awesome Work!
All of your themes are brilliant, but I like this one the best! One problem though, on my vzw touch pro, the theme installs fine and all looks perfect EXCEPT landscape. I don't get any of the icons on the right, just a blank spot. I've tried several different wallpapers with the same results.
Any ideas how I can correct this??

I'd have no idea where to start with the editor...anyway, I rarely use lscape so I'll probably keep it anyway.

[THEME] [UPDATED 3-21-09] X-Men & Dark Knight TF3D, S2U2

I made these X-Men themes for TF3D and S2U2 because of the upcoming Wolverine movie. And have also made a Dark Knight theme for both TF3D and S2U2. This is my first time making and posting my work, so please bear with me. Below also are some ringtones and wallpapers.
Also added icons for roms with HD manila. Includes stock, calendar, and sound profile icons.
To Install the TF3D files:
1. Download and unzip the folder to your desktop.
2. Copy and paste all of the files into the \Windows folder on your device.
Say yes to all when it asks if you want to replace these files.
3. Soft reset and you're done.

4. Copy the new gfx folder into the S2U2 folder.
5. Soft reset and you're done.

Yes, but these files are easily found in this forum or you can copy them before you replace them.

Xmen/Dark Knight Theme
Ok....so I am also a newbie so please excuse my ignorance. I tried copying the files as instructed but I am getting an error message that some of my files are read only. How do I fix this? I tried looking at the properties, but it doesn't give me the option to unselect the read only button. Thanks!

There isn't an install, but there are the original manila files floating around this forum.

Edit: Nevermind, i found it, to find out that its not tranparant. So i made it tranparant, to find out that the square glass slider still looks better..

I have the Sprint Touch Pro, stock rom. Does anyone else have this issue with the voicemail and text message icons? Please see the picture for what i'm referring to. The theme is awesome it's just that the icons are cut. Even the icon for the message preview is cut.

how to cook theme for manilla 2.0

i have made lots of rom with different theme with chome.
but can someone tell me how to cook new theme for manila 2.0 and make it default?????????
so that after launching touch flow it automatically get updated with manila

go to manila package and replace the default theme images with the ones you want and replace default theme xml with yours
and sorry i cant explain it properly cause i the last manila 2.0 ROM i cooked was a year ago

Make themes for manila is hard task you know... cause the xml is not a default xml format... you can search a lil using this tags...
How to edit manila 2D homesettings.xml
and you can get some examples searching as... manila 2D themes (this themes are for manila 1.0 not mega's)

mmm you must to see wich theme are you using and change the files inside the TSK "stwater_XXX_XXX.jpg"
change the extension of the TSK to CAB
then open it with cab manager
then change the pics
then save the cab
rename it back to TSK
and sign trust that TSK
if you are using classicblue the images are classicblue_stwater_XXX_XXX.jpg

after adding my custom image i got blown
when i switch the different tabs in manilla that wallpaper appear as half and half part is of that manila flipping clock??
