I sold my Touch Pro and kept the Xperia, and still after three weeks I still love my Xperia I normally am bored by phones after some weeks when finding out bugs and so and I change phone often, but the Xperia is a keeper

i owned both and the diamond, bored/sickof battery life but the X1 is a clear winner, even the keyboard is way perfect.....
Will post here once I get my Xperia with my thoughts (I suspect it'll win out over the Touch Pro, if for nothing else because of the superior browsing experience).

Hello ppl from HD forum...
I have a question to ask to any user that owned the xperia and the HD...
I bought a touch HD but I'm not sure if is a good choice cause of the lack of keyboard and some reported(?) problems with the cam, bugs, etc... I tried the xperia keyboard and wasn't that great (compared to the kaiser)!
I would like to know if it's worth having the touch HD or for someone that owns a pda with keyboard is better the xperia x1 (though the kexboard ain't that great)... Thanks ahead for your opinions and comments
P.S: Does anyone knows exactly if the Orange HD come simlocked and if yes how to unlock it?
bandit, there are MANY threads already that go into great detail about the questions you're asking. Use the search function on the top menu line and let google do the searching. Search for 'hd vs x1' or something like that, and you'll have a multitude of xda forums to look through. Good luck!
Also, look through the first few pages of threads in the Blackstone forum for one titled something like 'Xperia Panels coming to the HD, NO CAB YET!' The user that started that thread has both devices.. his avatar looks like a Panels view. Send him a PM.. He's a busy person, but he may take a moment to answer your concerns..

So my current device now is the wildfire buzz from htc ... I was going to sell it but after installing (cm9) on it I had second thoughts (thanks to xda-developers )
any way that's not my question ... my question is ( I want to get another mobile and I want it to be one of a kind so I was thinking to get the new iPhone 5 and I was very convinced .. until I saw that magnificent device the Xperia Z and now I'm puzzled .. what should I do ... go with this magnificent android device or try the IOS device that have a lot of people using it right now and saying that it will last for a long time with no problems)
So the bottom line is ... what's your professional opinion about this problem???

Well the Xperia Z and The iPhone 5 are very different in many ways but the biggest is clearly the OS... Android vs iOS. Well in my opinion Android is the better one but that is my opinion... Everyone has its own taste in smartphones so go to the next shop and test some of the newest android devices and then the iPhone 5, watch some comparison videos, read some articles about it, etc.
On the hardware side there are some big differences aswell:
Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core chip for the Xperia Z and Apples A6 Dual-Core Chip for the iPhone
1Gb Ram iPhone vs 2Gb Xperia Z
4" Retina Display with 326ppi on the iPhone vs 5" Full HD 420ppi Xperia Z
Both are pretty awesome devices... So either way you go, you can't go wrong

In my opinion, iPhone was the best in like 2 years ago. After I do root, ul boot loader, install ROMs and port ROMs etc... I will never leave my android... it is up to you whether to choose what but I suggest Xperia Z.

Obviously. It's quite rare to see people showing honest remarks if it's going to have a negative impact on them. I myself started on the Xperia Z but shifted to HTC One when I saw the dual speaker lol!
Xperia ZL would have won me if it could have decent buttons instead. Cause seriously... I must be the one of those people who hated stock android design to the core. lol!
I'd give up the features and stability over that design.

Hi everyone is it worth a switch from sony z2 to opo? I care for battery and camera that's all. Sony is slow on their updates which is terrible but i do like the phone. Don't like the low call volume sometimes people can't hear me. Please share your thoughts. Thanks

I've had the Z2 and i must say this is definitely an worthy update the one and only thing i think the Z2 excels in might be the camera but custom and official rom support is way better with the one
