there is none!

As someone already have pointed out; there is no USB-host funcionality on the diamond. Even if you get the cable you request, it won't help.

If i remember correctly the touch pro has usb host. correct me if im wrong.

Mini USB connector replacement

Hi All,
Does anybody know where I can find a replacement mini usb connector for our device? I searched a lot, but it's not a standard mini usb connector. Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Huh? It really is just a mini-USB connector, I have no problem using it with any of my mini-USB cables...

No, unfortunately it is not. You can fit in a standard cable, but the connector is not standard.
Hmm, ...
So what exactly do you want to exchange? The female connector (the part "inside" the phone??? What for???
Cable is standard mini USB, right.

It is indeed! I believe it is a required standard feature of all WP7 phones, is it not?
Thanks guys, I feel silly now. I tried a Mini-USB rather than a Micro-USB, oops!
Going to go pick one up now cheers!

[Q] Connecting the device to a TV

Hi everyone,
I've searched this forum and on Google but didn't really find the answers to my questions.
If I want to connect my Nexus to a TV (that has a USB port of course) what cables and adapters do I need to use?
By searching I found out I need this adapter:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009UZBLSG
But what other cable/s do I need?
Thank you.

Just a heads up, there are cheaper ones that work better...
You screen will flicker with the SlimPort... at least mine did.

Thanks, how are they called?
Can someone help? Do I need to buy a cable that has a male HDMI connector and a male USB connector so that it connects to my TV?
And along with it I need the slimport adapter (or any other adapter)?
Thanks.

Just a normal male to male hdmi cable, slimport goes to the hdmi input on your tv
It's easiest to just get a Miracast adapter since that's what the Nexus uses for Wireless Display. Just connect that little box to your TV via said HDMI cable and the nexus will connect to it directly, wirelessly.

What exactly is up with the USB-C charging port?

Hello,
I've tried to find a clear, straight answer online and while I have found info regarding the USB-C standard, I can't find an answer to my question.
I use a mirco usb plug to charge both my current mobile phone and my android tablet.
Does the smaller port in the OnePlus Two use the same sized micro-usb port for charging? I understand that the USB-C port is the larger port on the other end of the cable. Maybe I am wrong about that.
Right now I have several micro usb chargers that I use to charge my phone and my tablet, and I'd like to know if they will be able to charge a OnePlus Two. I don't mind if the charging is slower, but I'd just like to know if it will fit and charge.
Thanks!
No in my sense,as far as my knowlege goes, USB-Type C is altogether a different technology,so you will need a special adapter for OTG too..

No.....a big No....the port they are using is nothing more than a new plug on the phone side of the cord. The other end of the cable will plug into all your old USB ports. So you will need to use the OP2 cable but the end that does not plug into the phone will plug into any current USB port.
They did not include any of the good things that come with USB C, they just put the USB C plug in the phone and on one end of the cable.

Thanks, friend. That's clear. This is a drag. Right now I have several charging cables that power all my stuff. Now if I get the OP2, I'll need two cables for home and two for the office. That's a negative in my book
Thanks!

Based on the release video they said an adapter would be available older USB cables so that might be an option for you.
Good to know. If the adapter is small and inexpensive, that would help a lot! Thanks!

No power going through OTG cable?

I've recently bought a USB OTG cable but my phone (D290N) doesn't give power to any device I connect. I tried on a Lenovo tablet I have handy in my home and I can confirm that the problem is only with our device. How can I make my phone give voltage to the OTG cable ?

Haha otg is not only about hardware the kernel also has to support it, even my secondary device supports it by hardware but the kernel doesn't.....
Of course it does support otg, but not fully. It doesn't give power when u connect something to the port though.. :/ So how can I make it give power ?

You have to get an otg set up with a separate power source. The old nexus 4 was the same way.
How exactly do I do that? I have one more cable with a USB A Male connector.

To be honest I am not sure as I never used the OTG for the nexus 4 or any device I have used so far so really have not looked into it.
