took me forever to find this but could not find anything on the net or in the registry to help but finally found the answer so thought i'd post it here for others. if you want to add a stock to the stock quote tab on your HTC HD for stocks other than the US and Canada you need to put in the stock quote that yahoo.com uses.
To find the stock code go to http://c.finance.a1.b.yahoo.com/ and under market summary chose the region you want so for Australia chose Asia. Under Asia select view more indices and you will see the All Ords symbol is ^AORD. If you use this code when you click add quote in the HTC stock tab it will find the All Ords stock. If you want to add individual stocks click on the Components link on the yahoo page and it will show you the stock codes for all the aussie stocks. eg for Wesfamers the stock code is WES.AX and i think you can pretty much assume the stock code for all AU stocks is "aussie stock.AX". hope this helps others.

I am in the UK, the regional settings are (obviously) set to UK and English language, I use O2, but every time I do a search on Opera, I get a list of German language websites, never English ones.
What is going on? Somehow, the browser is telling the outside world that I am in Germany, but I am not.
How do I change this?

It is due to the fact that O2 uses German IP addresses I believe. The original thread has more detail on the topic.

Sadly the answer lies in editing a hard coded file, not so easy.
I was having the same problem too. For me, the link posted above doesn't work and searching this forum for 'german results' only returns this thread.
However, I believe I have managed to fix it. My understanding of German is not good but one of the links at the bottom of the google results page turned out to be Preferences. Guess what - one of the options is Language. It seems like Google leaves a cookie or something and since I made the prefs change, all my results have been in English!

thanks for this tip - I have checked both mobile and grown-up Google, and they both show my language as English (UK) (which is correct) - I don't seem to be getting any more German pages, although I had never changed the settings.

It becomes more of a problem in the UK within certain websites.
I cannot use my phone to buy lottery tickets because the site thinks im outside the UK. It is very annoying and a solution would be gladly received

According to Google: http://books.google.com/help/ebooks/content.html books should be epub or pdf files. To keep the books available when offline, you need to press Menu then choose Manage ebboks and press the pin icon. This will download the ebook (if this option is available).
The books are stored inside (for me on SD): /sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.apps.books/files/volumes. In that directory, you have a lot of subdirectories. Each one of them being a book. You then might have another subdirectory in there (if you "pinned" the book), called pages where each page is stored. I don't know the format, it doesn't open with a pdf reader but I could open it with FBReader (so I assume it's in the epub format).
Now the bad news: it is not possible yet to import external ebboks into Google ebooks ! That feature could be included in a further release, as the idea has been passed to the development team, but it does not actually exists. Quite a Shame (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/books/thread?tid=356267d955de61a7&hl=en).
For the time being, I still prefer to use Alkido and FBReader (I do not arrive to choose which one to use yet) as I can import in these programs eoboks that I have (mainly in epub, some in pdf).

Google ebooks reader is mainly available in USA. It is not yet in UK, Japan or France. I guess this relies to agreements which have not be found between Google and major books companies (although I read somewhere that an agreement was found between a french book publisher and Google).
So it's a very early program, very limited (as it just works with Google system) and as such other solutions might be preferable (athough I installed the program and downloaded free ebooks to test it).

Found, using Google:
Alleged manufacturer--Go to GlobalMarket.com, and look up 'Shenzhen YQT Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.'. ALSO, there are two downloadable APK files (for configuration, etc.) in Google Play. Search 'Rwatch'. The product listing pictures are green circles.
I bought one of these. It works fine, IF you have patience.
MY problems with the product, as I live in the United States of America, are:
1. Poor grammar makes many parts of the instruction sheet and software difficult to understand. This is a common problem with TOO MANY products coming from China.
2. If you want to answer a call on your phone, swipe down on the upper edge, and tap to turn off Bluetooth, remember? This SHOULD be an automatic function so that the device used to answer a call keeps control of the call until it is finished.
3. Their website is only in CHINESE. This (among others) is an unprofessional mistake, and would have been prevented by preparation BEFORE their products were to be released for export.
4. Their advertising/product literature should contain links to software/websites.
If ANY manufacturer in China (or any other country in Asia) wants repeat business and significant market penetration in the USA, they should make sure there is a separate website and product software option for users to choose US-English. Instructions and website text should be written by someone who is FLUENT in US-English (and not someone who barely passed English in school OR using a translation site). There should be a clear separation and option to choose either US-English and Chinese text (in this case), on the device and website. The same applies to any other predominant language. Translation sites online do NOT work well, in all too many cases.
Personally, I am using this product as an inexpensive introduction to wearable technology (with my Sony Galaxy Note 4/AT&T VERSION). I have no intention of buying this brand again, unless there are significant improvements to features, flexibility, instructions, user information, software/firmware updates, and the FLUENCY of its website/software/instructions.
I WILL buy a more expensive, and feature-filled watch in 2015, to go with a new Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
I have never submitted a fully documented report to a client with anything other than impeccable grammar and spelling. It is a point of personal and professional pride. Anything less would be akin to halitosis and an insult to the recipient. We, as buyers, should expect the same consideration from overseas manufacturers.
I hope this reply is of help to you. By the way, I always allow for language gaps between individuals, and have infinite patience in that regard.. <wink>

from all of those ''manufacturers'' I personally prefer ZGPAX. They also have videos on youtube and good site in English etc.

Firmware update process??
I downloaded the zip file provided by member whojan however do not know the procedure for updating the firmware. I installed the usb driver and the watch is recognised as a serial port. However there does not appear to be a method to enable the firmware upgrade on the watch. With the watch connected by usb with its power switched off the pc detects it as a drive, unfortunately if I click on the drive I get asked to insert a disk.
I have version 9 of the firmware running on the watch, I recently met another person with the same watch running version 10. The main difference with 10 was the display was much brighter, with my current version 9 the display is unreadable under outside light conditions, would be great to get the update.

And I use the M26 with my Galaxy Note 4 with lollipop 5.0.1 works good except the camera feature, find SM and I have FC with Mediatek smart device APK with all incoming calls!
