Just got a Touch Dual

So i was wondering it doesnt look like there are too many things for them here...
Can i use things from the Elf threads?
Or am i limited to the Nike threads?

i think u can. do u have the one with the grey button in the middle? i got that one too , everything works, but if u have the neon, u have to use the neon roms just look beyond the battery, theres the exact name of the device

hey i just got my touch dual as well, its the us version with the qwerty, i don't like the large menu thing, so when i turned it off, there went my large title bar(battery, connections, etc) will the cab for the large title bar for the kaiser work on the touch dual?

TF3D Home Screen Button Removal

Hi,
I've been lurking around since reading a review about the Diamond on GSMArena.com (and then deciding it was the phone for me) where they mention this site as the tweaking place for the phone (among others).
After alot of reading about and installing various apps (that are freaking awesome) there are few things i would like that i havent been able to find, either through my lack of searching skills or the inability to word the searches correctly, anyway, to my questions.
1) On the TF3D Home menu screen, is there anyway to disable the touch ability of the large flip clock ? (as when i touch it currently it highlights green and loads the Time/Date/Alarms menu, and i would prefer it not to)
2) Also on the TF3D Home menu screen, is there anyway to remove the ''Call History'' and ''Calendar'' Links ?

As far as I know.. (please someone correct me if I'm wrong!)
No, only way to do that is to disable the whole screen..
No (install the analog clock?)
The reason is that those functions is hardcoded in the manila files... sorry

There's no need to be sorry too, i figured after reading alot of posts on the Manilla program that alot of things are still in early development regarding customisation of it, so there's no need to worry and im certainly not devastated by the lack of such mods thus far. And as im stuck with the Touch Diamond (very happily of course) for at least the next 18months i have plenty of patience in hoping that modifications like the ones i would like might be developed within that time period (but of course, im not going to cry or moan if they never do, or its simply not possible in the end)

one way might be to modify the link of "click on clock" to point to today and modifying the skin with the green highlight to be transparent.

No Panels to be installed on Xperia...

Hello,
I would just like to know if there was a way to not have the Xperia panels installed on my Xperia.
When you start the phone for the first time, you can see that the panels are installed.
So, I would just like to have a fresh WM, and after install the touch Flo3D from manilla cab.
The reason is that I have some freeze when having XPanel and TouchFlo installed.

if u dont press the X Button then no panels will come up.
and u can also unselect them from the panel option on right bottom of screen the 9 panels are being displayed

ok...i dont post on here much but obviously you are either new and have not looked in the rom development section yet or are just being lazy and dont want to.....what you want is the flash either touch-it xperience or jack's rom.... there are a couple more roms you could try. but doing so might void any warranty's you have. if you dont care then do it.... if you do care then just do what the guy above said. leave your phone on the today panel and just not use them.

i know what you mean when it freezes ...the only thing i can thing of for you to do is after the master reset when its installing all the application do a reset there so the xpanel would not be install that mean TF3D would not install as well...just install the TF3D back in manually

[HELP] Problems with TF3D-2

Hi brothers.
I have the AHEN rom, wit mobile 6.1
And like the rom, but its not the point. So, i install the xboxmod Touch Flo 3D-2
nice work, congrats for xboxmod, perfectly, but after i install i put NoCurtains.cab (created by NisseDILLIGAF i guess) to remove the top and bottom curtains, (i don't like ehehe) só when I gonna se my today!? man crazy, appear like error.
The curtains was gone, but the slidder apper like a full black color, so u can see what u have above the slidder, other is the center of the screen, its frozen. Appear only a text: "Title" and if u try move the screen with your finger in slidder or in the center of screen ... don't move, its competly frozen. The Start button dont do nothing too.
So I guess the nocurtains.cab modify diferente files, cause the new TF3D right? So somebody can tell me how i change this?
I wanna the new TF3D-2 by xboxmod without curtains.
Other thing is, in the TF3D-2 the button START, dont show like before, now when u tap there appear the "tab programs" to list all your programs or some shortcuts u put in there. Can I have a cab or something to back to the original format? I like the dropdown menu. Cause, I can access all my programs better then now. Can somebody share this with me?

Soft reset, and click the start menu and go into settings before TF3D launches.
Don't install mods meant for TF3D1.

Hello Bulut, ofcourse we want to help you.....although your questions are not very hard to find....
1 Themes for your device should be QVGA or re-size them to 240x320 (PNG format).
2 What is all that stuff about Manila? Depends a bit what you want to know.....in general you can say that it is an additional layer on top of window mobile to control your device.....with functionality like slider bar etc. etc.
In the manual of your phone you can find a lot of info or on XDA ofcourse. You can download manual here...http://www.htc.com/www/userguide.aspx?p_id=291
3 Use M2DC. This program let's you easily change home screen and that of all tab's; use "background" in M2DC and select the theme you have put in folder of your device.

what settings did you change mate? go to M2DC and on the second to last tab click "restore settings"

- You should take M2DC version 0.29.235 = latest.
When you only install M2DC nothing happens to the theme you have already installed.
First back-up you current theme (and settings) before installing a new one.
From picture see that you have a custom theme installed. Where did you get it from?
It can happen that a theme although suited for your device will not work. Happened to me ones. I deleted it and went on to find a new one.
- In my Rom the fav. does not work well either.....but I have a custom Rom...perhaps somebody can react to this.
