today i got Dopod U1000 and tried to unlcok extrom.
And use Hermes Extrom Unlocker and make soft reset.
It could not boot any more with WHITE SCREEN!
No hard reset worked and stop splash screen
PLS guys do not try that.
still can not find the way to reboot

do u have boot loader for Athena?
i didnt tried to athe bootloader coz i dont have,
But treid to flash Hermes Bootloader, on PDA / PC showed me seems succsessufuly, but aftter re-enter bootloader, nothing had changed.
sad to hear that... bricked first day
Have you tried to reformat storage from bootloader, or to flash a rom again?

i wonder why only registry canged by CAB can not boot any more ??
it should not damage to device!
(But i have expienrece Himalaya Extrom Unlocker make another device OS read only before)

Hi I did tried to unlock and now I get only a black screen and I can't boot again. I have the old flash image , but I can not connect with active sync my ameo. How can I pump the old flash image into my ameo ?!

I try to flash UDK Syrious R0 and he stuck on 17%, after that I can't install anything. I try recover but he stuck at grey screen @ 0% and after 1 minutes hard-spl say to me error 262 communication error. What I can do?
did you hard-spl your device before flash it with this rom ?
if no, you must hard-spl your device before installing any rom

I have exactly the same problem. Now I'm stuck in bootloader! Hard reset does not work.
Flashing just stopped at 17%
what now?
I not installed hard spl on my just flash it replug device usb cable he goes to 17% and stuck. I try different rom after that but don't help stuck on 0 %. Hard reset not working.

ok, here is what happened:
I copied enterbootloader.exe to sd card and executed it there!!!
Why I did that I dont know, probably I did not understand what means "install" Hard SPL. FCK !!!
So now I'm stuck in bootloader, I cant update rom, coz I cant connect with activsync and Hard reset does not work.
Any help can be apreciated

I have readed it, no information about it.
First install Hard-SPL, then upgrade your ROM later. Maybe you can try installing Hard-SPL now?

You can do this with a signed ROM. I tried it but it just keeps resetting on me after the color bars show up, you might have more luck.
check if your battery device is more than 50 % charged....

Did you try to do Hard Reset manually ?
Hold down the 2 left side buttons, camera + voice, then poke the reset, while still holding the 2 buttons wait for display to prompt for reset.

Hi i have a slight problem.
After installing NYDITOT (sounds like idiot..) Virtual Display, Version 5.02 my htc hangs on smart mobility screen. I tried a soft and than hard reset, but that won't work.
So it thought i try Flashing and changing the device to a new version..
I can start the device in the bootloader screen (thats the only thing i can do at this moment..)
This is wat i see:
BLAC100 32M
SPL-1.14.0000
MicroP-BlackStone (LED) v6
and then serial or usb (when i plug it in)
But than after trying HardSPLWrapper_Blackstone.exe the screen on the pc aswell the screen on the htc stays on 0% and eventualy (after a minute or so) it looses the connection.
(Error 262, communications error)
Then i tried to acces the device though MTTY and this is what i get..
Cmd>password BsaD5SeoA
Pass.
HTCST ÚÈÒHTCE
Cmd>ruurun 0
Command error !!!

You should check if you have the correct usb drivers installed if you are running a 64 bit system. Also try installing the latest version of mobile device center. Check the troubleshooting section in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2710548&postcount=1

Sorry mate, but this is all I can think of as well. Try flashing a new ROM.
Once ROM downloaded, Start BlackStoneCustomRUU.exe and follow the onscreen instruction's.
I'm assuming of course that you already have flashed HardSPL previously?
Hard reset should be sufficient to remove the faulty piece of software for good.

I have not flashed HardSPL previously, i bought it one week ago and just installed a few proggs including that IDIOT virtual display..
So i don't care is i lose the data thats
Can i still try flashing a new ROM even without a HardSPL?

pfff i feel such a NYDITOT myself, after watching youtube how to HARD-reset a blackstone for dummys, i saw the guy repete it several times when it actually reset itself.. same here also, but it worked

Hello guys!
I have synced my HD several times. I have installed also a lot of software (sktools, pocket mechanic, memaid, and other).
The same programs run to my TyTN2 without any problems for more than a year.
After a soft reset it stacked to the start screen (smart mobility).
I have tried even several hard resets; the message appears for factory settings, the hard reset is getting done, but after that the same problem appears again.
I have tried also to flash it, but when i plug it to my PC nothing happens.
I turned it off by removing the battery.
R:1.09.25.14, G: 52.49a.25.26U, D: 1.14.22273
Please somebody helps.

Just open the back flap and soft reset the fone.

The reason u got this message was because u hadnt hspl (hard spl) ur device...refer this link and try upgrading/flashing a new rom..

u havent hspl'd ur device man.....refer the link and folow the instructions carefully...the SPL version u have is 1.35.0000 which should change to 2.00.cmon

I had already tried above steps but encounter following problems.
1. cannot go to sync mode as my phone is already stuck in "smart mobility" screen
2. When I HSPL by pressing down volume button + soft reset all go smooth but at the end when screen turns grey pc shows error 270 "update error"
Hard / Full reset
Are you still having a problem with your Viva? If so maybe you could try to hard reset (full reset) your device. This is not the same as hitting the red reset button on the underside of the phone.
