Reboot to recovery and make a backup. After that you can wipe data and flash the rom.

edit 2: flash went perfect, rom is very fast. Everything is working great, just like 3.1 out of the box with a little root sprinkles on top I like having Dolby back, one of Iconia's strengths.

I've just noticed something interesting. I attempted to play the same test files that I played on PRIMEE and can only run them in software rendering mode, however in PRIMEE they ran with hardware decoding. Perhaps Acer has deliberately disabled mkv due to the lack of AC3 support?
I wonder if it's possible to port the MKV functionality from PRIMEE? I have a lot of MKVs that don't have AC3 sound that would be nice to watch without reencoding into mp4 containers.
It'll be a tough choice between SRS and MKV support.
Edit: Scratch that, all the mp4 files I tested on PRIMEE don't work either

i found usb drive bug also, setting - storage dont show anything while i plugged drive, only i can mount them using drive mount
o yeah.. and my usb HDD dont work for long, only bout 3 minutes and the gone.. cant be even seen by drive mount afterwards

So it has to be something to do with the Acer rom as it works fine on a Xoom with 3.01 and Primee on an Iconia. Acer sucks by the sound of it.

Maybe you can try market enabler. b.t.w. acer recovery is not mine so i can't support it

According to the link info, it is for all Gen8 models, "Archos 28/32/43/70/101 internet tablet".
I've read on other blogs that after updating to the newest 2.3.81 firmware some owners have noted that their Gen 8 tablets indicate that 2.1.08 firmware had been installed.
Can anyone confirm this anomaly?
I am still using 2.1.08 FW on my 70IT 8g.

Installing the SDE will not update the firmware, I had to install the stock FW, then SDE. But downgrading to 2.1.08? I doubt it. They probably had their old aos file sitting around and used it instead.
I've read in other thread that the Cinama Plugin is gone in this new firmware release.

no it doesn't work , did you boot into the stock firmware using boot menu?
I only upgraded from 2.3.26 to the latest fw, restarted, then tried it and it worked. Nothing fancy other than just that. I'm using SetCPU, and LCD Density Changer now, whereas in the last fw, .26, they wouldn't work.
And i'm not using a boot menu.

Again this is the AUS release version, US is .11_GEN2 and now it appears that they just pushed .13_GEN2 OTA to the USA.....

I bought mine at Best Buy in the US, and it's a GEN 1. That being said, the .40 release has a GPS.conf file that's set for North America, so if it is an Australian update, they messed up big time!

Here's the gps.conf straight out of the .40 update that you state is an Australia release:
"NTP_SERVER=north-america.pool.ntp.org
SUPL_HOST=supl.google.com
SUPL_PORT=7276"
If this is an Australian update, then Acer screwed the pooch for the ppl getting this update in Australia

Sick of OnePlus changelogs and being curious about what I'm flashing my daily driver phone, I decided to analyse official OTA pushed out by OnePlus for the OnePlus 5T.
Here you can find all the interesting changes in every OTA !
I'll try to follow OnePlus timeline and analyse each new OTA when it comes out.

How to interpret :
Small change ==> Small modification inside the app/librarie/config file
Updated ==> File/App completely different or rebuild

Just noticed there is a firmware file for widevine in 5.0.4 in the changelog. Guessing this is just a file and the DRM isn't implemented unless done by OP?

Indeed. Check the 5.0.3 changelog.
Since this build they've added Widevine at firmware level. It requires physical intervention from OP to enable it.
So every build starting from 5.0.3 is Widevine L1 compatible.

Is easy to find, download Aida 64, go to screen and send me screenshot, and to find vulkan, go to "devices" scroll down and find vulkan version, send me screenshot. I will aprecciate if someone give me this, thanks.

Vulkan API is 1.1.66 but i don't know if it's the stock API because i have update GPU Adreno Drivers (269 > 319).
I'm on CrDroid Pie (Treble - Base PR2)
EDIT : API version is only 1.0.61 with the GPU Drivers Stock (269), so i advise to update your GPU Driver for update GPU/Vulkan

thanks bro, I'm still on Oreo 5.1.4 OxygenOS, vulkan support 1.0.61 and drivers 269.
Can you test for me resident evil 4 from dolphin GameCube rom with vulkan render ? Use latest version of dolphin from repository, and give me feedback if will get the correct texture or blank texture. On Oreo I get blank screen, on SD710 runs the graphics without problems, problably the drivers are buggy or less extension on Vulkan API. Thanks bro

I'm still on oreo 5.1.4, the vulkan version is 1.0.61 and GL drivers V269. Can you test Resident Evil 4 from emulator Dolphin ? I just want to know if qualcomm give the right extension to render this game, on SD710 Oreo, runs RS4 as well, on Oreo from OP5 I got blank screen (error graphics when I try to use vulkan), some extension are missed, if want to give me this feedback I would aprecciate your little time, use latest version Dolphin emulator and use vulkan API.

Sorry but i don't have the time for take a emulator and download a ISO for try just your personnal thing. Update your Drivers, it's always better.
