Does HTC TOUCH HD have a fullscreen keyboard? - Touch HD General

I haven't seen any videos yet, showing a full screen keyboard on the HTC TOUCH HD...
does everybody know if it will have it?
I have a very old XDA IIi, but I love to write sms using SPB Fullscreen Keyboard because of the botton size

I am using SPB full screen Version 4.0.0 Build 2585 and it is just fine. It also has elegant BLACK skin.

Andrewk21 do you find spb fullscreen keyboard lags a bit? I had to uninstall it as it could not keep up with my key presses and would sometimes freeze for 3 seconds before i could input the next character.

There's a full screen keyboard when you use Opera in Landscape mode.
Not sure if this is utilised in other apps

It does sometimes, but not too often. Obviously, SPT is only a virtual keyboard and therefore is ‘not perfect’. However, with a bit of practice it becomes friendlier, gets used to you. Try playing a bit with J.S. Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3, Touch Flow, finger pressure, etc. Should do the trick. Cheers.

Any working dialer with talk/call touchscreen button?

Is there any such dialer available that works bug-free with the Windows Mobile 6 Bell Canada Touch/Vogue, and provides an onscreen talk/call button? By default pretty much everything else can already be done via touchscreen, but to do talk/call you *HAVE* to use the physical hard green button, and that doesn't make sense. I'd rather be able to make the call via the touchscreen.
Also, something that preferably has the numeric keys and and all the call status keys (speaker, mute etc) all on the same screen, instead of having to toggle back and forth as with the default dialer, would be ideal.
Anything come close to this? Thanks...

are you talking about Minimal DIALER? there is cab file for download here:

There is another one that I like better that is called the iphone dialer. I use it and love it. Here is the link.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=25681&highlight=touch+iphone+dialer
This dialer, as a .cab install, does not have smart dialing. When I used Nexvisions manilla something something rom, this was the default dialer, smart dialing included. What gives?

Nice proof of concept Albert
is there a way to change the keyboard to be Iphony ?
in other words, can we change the pressed button gfx to be a popup button thingy so it shows the letter pressed ?
Nice.. i like opal full keyboard "cleaner"
Is this cab all you need for this or do I need a separate file to install?

great work my friend, thank you for your share
This would match my new system font perfectly! Thanks, maybe I'll re-mod this keyboard...
can we expect a "cleaner" skin for the other two opal keyboards??? The full qwerty and the phone pad???
It's skinnable, but is it possible to make the landscape qwerty bigger? I really don't see how it's cleaner TBH. I like the original more. It looks more "cleartype-ish"

Go to Settings>Personal>Input
Select "Keyboard" as your input method and select small keys. Then press OK.
The picture you showed is actually the traditional old school keyboard with large keys, so the numerical keys are hidden. Select small keys and they should be back up.
Cheers

Ok, responding to myself, I just found how to have this keyboard again!!
Apparently the keyboard is there all the time, at least in the roms that I've tested but the cookers don't enable it!!!
On the other day, accidentally I saw a cab on the Cloudy's rom that was to enable the "old" M$ keyboard.
I was (and I'm still) not using Cloudy's rom but decide to try if it works. Install it and puff there it was in all is glory!!!
Here is the link for that cab,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5410858&postcount=278
Many thkx to Cloudy for this one and a hands down to the rest of the cookers for hiding this feature. Worst than hiding is not to give a cab for this as I many times asked for it...
Fifty thumbs up. I've even posted a thread asking for this months ago. Just did a hard reset and decided to try my luck.
I have been in hell with the other keyboards. This is the missing piece for me.
Cheers to cloud and you, OP.

Anyone?

I've not seen anything like that, but the Tablet Keyboard has the number keys across the top--it's just like a pc keyboard and really easy to use --also has a split mode.
did you try swype beta 3.25? you can switch between the number keypad and standard keyboard with a swipe.

This would indeed be great keyboard on the XOOM, even the HTC keyboards would look great if we could get them onto the XOOM ('._.')

Look at the Hacker's Keyboard-it has a number pad/dialer and also a split option.
