This ROM can be dumped and recooked. Unlike many of the cooks, no RGU have been deleted. No DSM has been deleted. And most of all, the ROM has not been crippled against dumping by deleting IMGFS signatures. So feel free to dump and modify upto your taste. And share the knowledge with the community. I just installed this ROM for testing. It operates roughly correctly. But it does not fit the description (no calculator skin, OEM version older than those mentioned, etc.). Is this a mistake or a deliberate deception? ?
The ROM Bepe 0.67 is really higher.
Vraiment trés bon travaille je vient d'installer la version standar
par contre comment changer le clavier par defaut pour le clavier classique ??

How to cook your own ROM :
Code:
1 - Put your packages in OEM directory
2 - Launch 1_BuildOS.exe
3 - Go to BuildOS tab then Load ROM "Ignore all errors messages"
4 - Click on "GO" button
5 - Wait untill you have a popup windows then select "Create ROM for Polaris" --> OK
6 - When you have DONE in BuildOS program --> execute htcrt.exe
6.1 - Go to ROM builder tab
* in Device Choose polaris
* Change version and language
* in OS browse for os-new.nb in temp directory
* click on Build! --> give a name to your file --> ok
Custom Splash Screen
1 - Download and extract tools from Attachements
2 - Create or download your image "BMP 240x320"
3 - Execute nb_image_converter.exe from tools folder, click on load then search your image file :
4 - Click on "Save .nb" then enter name for your .NB file :
5 - Execute SplashTool.exe --> OK --> select you .nb file --> open :
6 - Execute htcrt.exe --> select "Rom Builder" tab --> From Device liste select "Polaris" --> Select your .nb file previously created in splash zone --> Click on "Build!" --> Save your file as "RUU_signed.nbh" :
7 - Flash your Splash ROM with ROMUpdateUtility.exe
XIP patch
You must have :
- Kitchen for polaris
- XIPPort tools "thanks to bepe"
- M'Reloc "thanks to misar"
Note : If you use "All_packages_to_one.exe" to protect your ROM this method will not work

Hi,
I just downloaded ITA kitchen at home and extract it without problem.
delete it then download it again maby your have missed packets with your ISP.
turn off your antivirus to unzip the package without problem. he found é files with trojan.but it's not.

Does TomTom or Opera work with anybody?
It seemsed that more of navi apps doesnt work. Polish one (most popular) Automapa dont work either. and its not working from some time with T2M ROMS. its only reason that I'm not using this ROM... besides that its great job.
My TomTom is working fine, Opera 9.7 (beta) isnt, but older version is! ( 8.65)
maybe u should try skyfire!

English please on this forum
TomTom7 not working...
Many thanks for your lovely rom. My only issue so far is that my TomTom7 stopped working after upgrading this rom.

Manila rotates automatically once enabled thru Tools but I dont use it because the theme I have doesnt have landscape support
Footprints is there but I dont see TV which I'm NOT concerned with
As with 1.1 - this is a great ROM and worthy of a donation shortly.

yes....is a problem of the build...but now is great...rss and explorer icon's are perfect..
si si tutto ok..era un problema della vecchia build....ora sono perfette...

This may or may not help but have a look at the threads started by user "jaguaralani". I'm using this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=607991. Works great except no landscape support.
For HD 2 this is first rom upgrade, with touch HD I tried couples of roms, I have one question: radio is included in this rom, or I have to install
Radio_2.07.50_27_2, and after LynxEX ?

I don't port XIP but just the build ... I can port XIP just with ffboys Kitchen but with this one autocab-install don't work ... and If I want dump my ROM with IV3y5 Kitchen after port XIP I have just 3 folder : .ROM, .VM and beta .... So can't port XIP if I want add cab ...

All seems to be OK, this rom is faster as the others (Of course !!)
I had to re-install the colored icon set because the reception icon was not displayed.
I think I will love this last one !!

See all these comments coming from class A cooks shows how impressive the rom is! Although there are English roms out there, it's always exciting for a tester like me to try it! It looks fresh, leaving room for customization!
