Dab Radio - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

Does any one know if there is actually software or is it possible to put a dab radio onto the htc diamond?
Thanks

would be so awesome!
Though, in my humble opinion, HTC would have advatized about it. If it's able to recive DAB, FCC would know about it, right?

Just to be clear, it's not possible. I suppose they could make some external device that would plug in to the USB, but I would put money on the fact it'd never ever be thought of lol
I vote to close thread

WM 6.1 ROM

Exist any WM6.1 ROM for HTC Dream ? Please dont ask me why I need this.
Thanks.
No, not going to happen, been asked many, many, many times already.
why not ? where is the problem to cook non official ROM ?
For one, its a waste of a perfectly good phone to put that CRAP on it. If you want a piece of crap, buy a piece of crap.
Second, the required drivers simply don't exist.
What do you men crap ? OK, the second explanation is better.
I think lbcoder got it right. windows mobile IS Junk. I have a Kaiser in addition to the G1. The Kaiser has great hardware minus the KB, small screen, and quiet speaker, but it has a horrific OS e.g. It's slow, locks up, restarts itself for no reason.
The G1 however has a great OS that needs little or no changing at all, but dumbed down hardware.

Since your question is completely asinine I'm going to ask you why you need this: Why do you need this?
Edit: Oh and You're Welcome.

Bottom line is if you want WinMo, buy a WinMo phone. Most of the hackers working on HTC Dream are working on Android.
Oh yeah and use the search.

I concur. I couldn't imagine going to winmo after being blessed with android.
he he he he....
I guess we want what we don't have? Many folk are working on porting Android to our WM devices.... Maybe it's just the challenge of it all?

Now that I think about it; I sure wouldn't mind the ability to dual boot. Not even sure why but maybe just for that hell of it.
Makes no sense
I had the T-mobile Dash before the G1 and wound up giving the dash to my wife. I was helping her learn to use it and only then did I realise how goofy the setup of it all is. They say the beauty of it is that it tries to emulate the Windows experience, but if my desktop worked like that...I'ld have a mac.

Best post in this thread. Completely true and funny as hell.
That being said I'm STILL excited to see what WinMo 7 brings to the table.

[ACCESSORIES] Searching For...

We are currently looking for the best accessories for our T-Mo USA HD2s, also known as the 1024 Leo.
Due to the slightly increased length and width, along with the change in overall profile, the standard European accessories either fit poorly or not at all.
There will be many solutions available as time marches on, but for now I hope to post links to some of the best places to get *verified* accessories.

The TouchPro2 has a video-out cable via Mini-USB.
Does anyone know if this is planned for our HD2?
Just got in my invisibleSHIELD from Zagg.
Gonna install it later this afternoon. Here's hoping it fits the US version!

Well, I'm not sure yet. Haven't had time to install it, but I did read on the package it just said "HTC HD2".
I compared the (in-package) sizes and it doesn't seem too off, but it will be hard to say for sure until I get the chance to sit down and put it on.
If not, I could always return it and hope someone finds one more compatible

Just like to say that it would be awesome if this app could be sorted. With respected to quoted message...It really depends on a number of factors
Hardware
Your location
Your Car (Windscreen)
I have used and am using an itr1p for a couple of years now and works flawlessly in and around Manchester. I have business in Biringham once or twice a month and it never works properly there on any frequency!!
+1
Great idea... hope it's possible!

That ICS "Beam" Thing Feature

Hi
I just thought, in the Galaxy Nexus ICS presentation they showed a feature where if you hold two phones next to each other one will transfer information to the other. Will that be possible on this phone when we start seeing ICS ROMs? Or is that something to do with hardware also?
No its only working with that NFC chip... but i think the nexus s has that chip also.. hope i couldhelp
Lol no doubt somebody will make something that plugs into the micro-usb port lol and allows that!

No I would fund the whole thing myself just so I can see the look on my friends face who loves Windows Mobile 7 lol
NFC Chips aren't that big, you just might be able to hardmod your device and install an NFC Chip :3 of course, you're gonna need a lot more work before it actually works.
I think it shd b psbl. Not sure how but the market app Bump does something similar
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA App
it could probably be made with bluetooth and the accelerometer.
i remember Google saying something about NFC stickers for older phones when they launched Google Wallet.
http://www.slashgear.com/google-wallet-worries-nfc-stickers-mia-20181114/
I'm just assuming they can be used for "Beaming" too
there is an app on the market ("Bump" I think it's called) that gives similar functionality... only thing is both phones have to have the app installed on both phones to do any transfers.

[Q] Please answer my question! (HTC HD2 ICS)

As the page doesnt let me post my question on the original post (i know the redundancy) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1354267) , i gotta ask if ANY nand rom of ice cream sandwich will have face recognition¿
Thanks
Are you serious? With the camera on the back? This would be quite difficult.
When I tried Beta10 of ICS I didn't see any option like this, but I haven't explicity look for it.
Also, NFC won't work, too
I know it would be hard but also it would be awesome lol

With a back facing camera, and no front facing camera? Are you trolling or something? Why the hell would you even want that anyway, it would just make unlocking the phone even more effort than a pattern or pin security :/
Yes but idk i thought it would be awesome, now i think not a great idea.

You know what. You are right. Also it would be awesome for someone of developers program Leo to make breakfast or something like that. And to dont use battery or at least I mean at least makes it solar charge.
I think you asked the most stupid question ever on Leo forums (and I read a lot)
I was just asking a curiosity i had ¬¬ , i thought i could ask every doubt i got.

Yes generaly you can ask everysthing. But think about it. You know that on this forum there is 1000 same questions ? I mean how can you eventualy think to have FR without front camera ? Can you drive car without wheels ? No!
Ehh so? Ill use with the back camera and i know a lot of people that wouldnt care of using the back camera because that idea is new and fresh and not all phones have it. Thats why i asked it, so you think my question ia stupid? Fair enough but nex time you read another "stupid" question think it twice what youll submit.
