Sprint:
LINK By Member NisseDILLIGAF. Highly apreciated Sir. Great work.
Enjoy fellas.

Here are some clock files with no backgrounds behind the numbers.
Edited from the Chunghwa manila.

I have made a new one without colour stripes
Here it is~

Hi, I love the change to the Holy.cab, it is heaps more like glass, but a question, can anyone make a vivid rich red clock that matched the red theme, just the numbers red.
Great thread.

Here is a glass style clock I started to make for a theme I am creating. It does however work with HTC Black and Vodafone Red for sure. Although since the Icons in this cab are white they may need to be changed for use with Vodafone Red. I will be changing various things on the glass clock like adding color tints and refining the glass look a little more. Here is this one for the now.... Enjoy
As always restart TF3D after install
If you need colors edited feel free to pm me and I'll see what I can do....

Sergio, maybe you should make it clear how to install these and restore clock in the first post. you know people will be asking

Hi, I took a screen shot of my phone, if you could do it in that red over call history, I just love the Red.
Thanks

Anyone can give me a pointer how to change the color of the numbers in the clock? All these clocks are really neat but the color of the numbers doesn't match the color of my background....
Thanks in advance.

This is exactly what I want! I have installed a darkred theme and it would be lovely to have the numbers in red (or darkred). Holyfox, would you mind doing this for us??

If you use the manila editor you can open and export the manila images as .png graphic files.
Export using save as, then open the .png in an image editor (eg photoshop) and make your changes. (or edit the red .png number files I posted above)
Adjusting hue/saturation is a quick way for novices to swap colours.
Save as .png, then replace the image in the manila editor.
Copy the _manila files that you changed to /windows

Just Awsome!!
We need more of these clocks....Great stuff
Peace
Mike

[THE][26.07.08] White Gold theme

Hi Fellas.
For those who want simple bright themes, this might interest you. I initially made this for myself, but decided to un-customize it a little and share it.
Can't think of what to call it, so this is it:
White Gold v1
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
Just copy the cab over to diamond and run it. Restart manila to take effect.
It's un-installable.
I would recommend a custom home wallpaper with white bottom so that the theme shall look good. This is because the bottom bar fades out in the home screen, and it depends on what color your wallpaper has for it to look good.

It "curses" with the green up and lower case
But I do know that Singapore (and big parts of Asia)are more colorfull
Succes with your future releases. If you change silver-gold tones -icons with each other, I might try this bling-bling theme for sure

Well, the green is up to the user to change. It's part of the WM theme.
Can U elaborate "change silver-gold tones -icons with each other"? Kinda confused.

As for the appointment plugin, it's called O2plus. It shows you x number of lines of upcoming appointments. It was eventually meant for O2 devices, but ended up being cracked for all devices. I don't want to discuss it here, but if you're interested, pm me.
And remember.. Google is your friend.
Cheers.

OK- got it for the green explanation.
What I meant is that reverting Silver and Gold with each other, would look like a Gold background and silver internal icons. A real bling-bling phone (and I saw that someone is creating silver-gold new icons in another theam thread)
But, style is personal preference hehe...
Dear Mask,
Can u advise how u adjust the O2Plus to display, below yr "Appointment" in yr second today screenshot?

Thanks. That's the one I tried. It leaves the background in place, so without your jpeg it would be invisible but with your image it leaves a blank rectangle where the "invisible" numbers would be. Any ideas?
im not quite sure if i understand...
a background image will not affect the clock in any way...
can you post a screenshot of what you mean?
do you mean the Clock Background image? (default is that white book-like thing)

soory, no idea how to do screen shots. i included a jpeg. see that clock background? On Sprint its black. The invisible clock .cab erases the numbers the the rectangle remains. The imgage is of a "backless" fire clock, btw.

Recommendation?
Can someone recommend another clear/transparent clock that may work?
Thanks
Looks like its be left from a previously installed clock, installing any clock without that file won't remove it.
The normal flip clock in TF3D does not have any colons in it so this is probably a residual entry in manila from possibly the non-flip ATT clock or similar and as kien says adding new clocks that are missing that manila file entry will simply result in having the clear clock with the white colon overlayed on it.
The easiest thing to do in my opinion would be for you to find the original manila files for this non-flip clock and then browse the corresponding files on your phone with manila editor to see where the problem lies and delete the .png image for them.
Once done reinstall the crystal clock files and you should get a clear display.
If you have any issues, chuck me a PM and I'll try help you out as I too am a Jimi fan.
i got that clock and i got it in black also. I'll upload it real quick
I believe this are the 2 clocks, just copy the files in the windows directory. Each clock is seperated by folders

[THE] Sandeman Plastic TF3D Theme v0.1

I gave this theme creating thingy a try.. And since I like it a lot, I thought I'd share it.
I like very subtle changes, so I took the standard icons and used photoshop to make them appear a bit like shiny plastic icons. The only things changed are the 20 icons, nothing more. The other tweaks (no curtains, crystal clock, etc) I used from other posters here at XDA.
I hope you like it. If you do, feel free to use it, rebuild it, change it, whatever.

Yes, it's that easy
Please note I have built this based on the standard icon set on my phone, I can't (and won't) guarantee that this will work on your phone. I'm running the latest stock Dutch ROM (2.03.404.3) with TF3D v3.0.
Edit: Created 3 Clocks that (sort of ) match this theme:
Sandeman Plastic Clock v0.1
Sandeman Plastic Clock 2 v0.1
Sandeman Plastic Clock 3 v0.1
Nicely done dude

So true. Since the slider tabs on the bottom doesn't have the background, the clock would look better without the background or you could add the background to the slider tabs to match the clock.
Either way it a very nice theme. Nice work.
Hmmm, yes that's what's wrong with it... I couldn't really put my finger on it
I think putting the clock's background behind the icons will become quite messy (also the colors are too close). I'll have a look if I can create 2 new ones this weekend.
One with a transparent background (like the crystal one) and one with a black background (for everyone that doesn't use a dark wallpaper)...
new clocks?
Nope, I have barely touched my computer this weekend.
I hope to find some time this week
Wow... awesome theme.
Good job and the clock is very suitable for the theme
THX for sharing
nice work dude!
you didn't just put a plastic wrap filter on the icons did you? seems like cheating..
LOL, plastic wrap was indeed one of the (4 or 5) actions, but definitely not the only one. You're free to try and reproduce them
There was some embossing, a couple of levelling actions and color replacing involved too
The clock was a lot harder. I won't bore you with the details
Ok, I created two new clocks. The first one (Sandeman Plastic Clock 2 v0.1) is the same as the previous one, only without the backgrounds and I've lightened the numbers a bit. Personally I don't like it, but maybe someone does...
The second one (Sandeman Plastic Clock 3 v0.1) is the same, but this time I stole the transparent background from the crystal clock.
This one I do like... A lot, using it right now
Also added to the start post, including the .cab files.

Question about modifying Slider

I've almost got my phone 100% the way I want it, more like 99.5%. Last thing I want to change is the slider. I don't really mean the slider and icons. I want the icons to stay the same. Most cabs will modify both slider and icons. Here is my home screen. I'm not sure what the correct nomenclature is, but the area behind my icons is a blueish color. I want to make it a two tone black/grey sort of like the top of the phone. Is it a matter of dropping some sort of image file into the manilla directory overwriting the existing one? Or is it more involved requiring replacing the icons as well? Any info or pointers on what/how I can change this would be much appreciated. I'm sure the info is out there I'm just not plugging in the right search criteria.
If it makes a difference I am running Sense 2.1

I would suggest using the "Remove Both Curtains" cab file. What this should do is make that blue hue clear - you will see the black background of your screen.

It does make a difference . If you are on PPCG, chuckz07 has posted a fix using mode9 edits. Here's the link (I don't think I've posted enough here so I'm stripping the beginning part h t t p)
forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=97345
It doesn't change the icons, just the slider. The files at the beginning of the thread are for the rom you are using where you have the small slider. If you look later on you will find where I have posted a modification that allows for a wider clear slider for those roms that have/need a wider clear slider.

Awsome. This finally did the trick. The C07 transparent slider stuff i could never get to work. Also tried the Glass/Metal and the C07 fix and basic. But this one at least made the slider all black so I am happy Tab still has color but I don't mind that at all. Yay no more blue!
