Laptop->WM Modem->PPC->WiFi->Router - how? - Networking

Hi guys,
I'm currently having problems with wifi in laptop - it's connected to the network but it cannot transfer anything. So I have found a short term solution - to connect my TyTN II to wifi and then use it as a modem for my laptop via cable.
The problem is in Network Connections I can't choose wifi, only Orange Internet (3G). I tried to setup another one but there's no option to setup wifi connection, only cellular or 3G. Any idea how this could be done?

Help - GPRS & WiFi at the same time?

Hi
I want my XDAIIi to connect over GPRS and WiFi at the same time - I use the WifI connection to connect to my laptop so I can project the screen, and I use GPRS to connect to some demo systems.
I've done this sucessfully with the IPAQ 6300, but on the XDAIIi the Wireless Manager seems to let me connect GPRS or WiFi, but not both.
Is there any way round this?
Thanks

Internet ... via Wi-Fi

Hi.
I haven't find any topics on serch so decided to write...
I have a Toshiba notebook with WiFi inside and without Bluetooth card. So yesterday i've connected my Qtek 9100 with my notebook. The connection was unstable but strong. I've made Computer-Computer connection without Wi-Fi point.
So can anyone tell me can i use gprs as a modem for my notebook by WiFi?
Thnx.
Don't think so unless you can find some sort of proxy software that runs on the phone.
Or do you mean use the internet on the phone via the computer, over wifi?

sharing wifi internet with my laptop

hi guys,
I have a tmobile mda iii, i can connect to and browse the internet via wifi. I want to be able to browse the internet on my laptop using that connection (over a usb cable).
I think the solution lies in 'Wireless Modem', but I can't find out how to use it with a wifi Internet connection. (It appears to be designed for gprs, and csd internet connections only).
Any help/pointers will be appreciated

Xperia Internet connectivity issue

Hi there, my Xperia (or WM6) has an issue that everytime I try to access the Internet even connected via USB or Bluetooth to my Internet connected laptop or via WiFi on it it always make a data connection to the mobile operator instead of using the existing connection.
I have just bought it and it is an amazing phone but can't use it 100% yet. I am an old user of WM so I tried a lot of things to help but nothing solves.
Could anyone help me?
settings->connection->connection->advanced-select network
and pick my home network or something like that
not being my isp or whatever your cellphone network settings are called
