[Req] Shake to change music - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

The application works like Sony Ericssons which we can:
- Left shake: Previous music
- Right share: Next music
- Face down: Pause
It will work with TouchFlo 3D music
I think this is easy feature because we have Sensor SDK to detect shaking. Just reuse Diamond Shake code.

Want this too

Have a search guys...

Very nice.
Any chance you'd be willing to share what you used to determine the left and right shakes? In other words, what algorithm.
09/16/08 - My typing mistake, can't change the title myself. lol.
Wonderful!
Tnx man!
Very nice, a bit more refinment is required, 7/10.
Keep it up.
I was looking for something like this. Thank you!
Can touch cruise
Juz asking if my touch cruise could use tis application cause im new 2 tis
that's good thing, I love it
Fine as the cruise is, it does not have a g sensor, so maybe you will be able to run the program, but only thing the shaking will do is give you a (more tired arm.
This is For Diamond Only???
But i try to Universal Not work.
Error: Unable to Load Sensor DLL
Not working in my HTC diamond. After shaking only play and pause button is working.

if this software is a .Cab fil, first transfer to your mobile(htc diamond or Pro)
you can transfer with usb or bluetooth, then open that fil on mobile.
and just install. when you got a message install. on example device / storage.

MP3 player new function required

None of the MP3 players I've tried (free or paid for) have the following feature:
When a new track plays, a small pop-up window at the bottom of the screen appears for say 5 seconds, with the track name and a skip button.
I use my PDA for sat nav in the car and this would be useful for it to appear momentarily over the navigation screen.
Can anyone conjour up such a feature on a simple MP3 player - or point me to one that has it?
Thanks.
Have you tried Pocket Player? I believe it does something similiar to that.
I've got PocketPlayer and I've not come across this function. Not that I have actually looked for it as yet . Where can I find it?
Would be a good idea though. When you have your nav on you get a little pop up on the screen telling you what the title of the music track you're listening to.
I'll download it and have a play.
Yeah, a little musical note appears in the taskbar and if you tap it it, it shows what's playing and gives a all the basic functions too (play, pause fff, rwd, and so on)
Why not use Msvc?

Yeah, this is what I found - no good when the sat nav is full screen, as the musical note isn't there - I need it to pop up on every new track, so I can decide to bin it or not.

MSVC - Microsoft Visual C??? You are joking, right? If I could do that, I'd have called this post "Look what I've done..."

No, Voice Command.

That's a good one, not played with the voice command option - you think it would work with the background noise of some cheesy MP3 track I never knew I had and want to skip?
I'll try and see what happens, in the meantime, if anyone comes up with anything let me know.

[idea] play drums with g-sensor!!! :0

hallo to everyone
first sorry for my bad english
today i had an amazing idea but im not really good in programmin so it is up to the deveelopers to make the idea become real
i was thinking about an app which recordnize when u are tick your diamond and play a diffrent sound when you are ticking with diffrent power or from diffrent side
just like when u are ticking right it plays sond a and when u are doing it on the left side it play the sound b
i think it is very simple to make for someone who is good in programming
it would be really cool if someone can do it
Or maybe that u hold a button down so you get highat sound only!
And another button for snare or something like that. Sounds really cool!
thoese who want to help please post
i think it will be a pretty cooll app and i m wondering why no one got this idea before
i m waiting for replies

It doesnot use G-Sensor. All u can do is using the stylus or your nail to tap on the drum and it will make a sound. That's it, you cannot use multi-touch feature so it makes no sense to play this.
was going to say, no multi-touch
what tryed to say was that i want an app which play drumms without useing the screen just the g-sensor and may some hardware buttons

(REQ) "Letter-scrollbar" in Music Player!

Hi guys
Really love my HD2... Nice hardware, nice software (with help from cooks) etc.
I have one problem though... The music player!
Im one of those who LOVE music... And lots of it
The problem is related to how you navigate to artists etc... Its so slow! I mean its totally smooth, but the fact that you have to slide your finger for like 10 sec, to get to the bottom, (If you have a lot of music) is a pain... On the iPhone there is a "Letter-scrollbar", from where you can QUICKLY slide to the first letter of the artist you want to hear
There actually also is on the HD2!..... In the "all people" tab! EXATLY what I want is on the HD2, but in the wrong tab (Well its actually also kind of handy to have in the "all people" tab, so no complaints there )
My question/request is: Is it possible, for some hacker extraordinaire, to take the "letter-scrollbar" from the "all people" tab, and implant it in the Music Player. In the artists section preferably
Hope sombody can pull it off!
(I also posted this in the "application" section)
Bump! .......
+1
Loved this on the iphone
+1 I totally agree, since I use my phone as my primary music player
agree, this would be indeed very usefull!
would be very useful
Thanks for the support for this feature.. Guess we have to wait for someone to actually pull some magic out of his/her sleeve..
+1 Bump I would love to see this happen

I love HTC sense music player this is the one little thing missing. Please help
It's something that is definately needed for the music player, also a search function is something really needed
any update on this? a search would be Great instead of Scroll thru 1500 songs :-(
install pocket player...that is the only work around
+1 & Search function please
+1 for this, although I have pocket player installed just for this reason.....its also a very nice looking music player too tbh..

The second sentence is very funny to me. The only thing missing!!!
I also like the Sense Music Player--its integration into Sense, the very cool cover art display in Landscape Mode, etc.
I also agree that it would be nice when scrolling to have letters at the side to help scrolling through a long list.
What is funny to me is "the only thing missing", as I have had several very serious problems with the Sense Music Player. It is extremely buggy. (This thread isn't the place to discuss all the problems though, as it is about the letter-scrollbar, and I will join in on that request.) (More important to me, though, would be if someone could fix the serious multiple database problems with the app.)
+1 for that

S2U2 + S2P Guide Integration HELP

Hello i have both Apps the latest release but i don`t know how to make them both to work i mean to integrate them.. for example i do setting in S2P when i conect heqadset to start.. thats OK but when my device is locked by S2U2 and i conect headset the S2P start and im able to Play some song but after this when the S2U2 lock again the S2P just stop and close.. so i was thinking that when this two Apps are integrated we can listen music when the device is locket with S2U2 and also on the same time in the look screen we to have some info about the song we listen and control etc...
Can anyone please wrote a simple Guide what settings you need to do exactly all to work together?!
Thanks in advance

I've got the same problem a few days back, too!
And yes, I used the legal version of S2P because v0.83 Beta is still available from your site and Beta software isn't illegal!
