A friend of mine got himself a pharos lately.
But somehow he busted the ROM. I was able to find an english one but I'm still looking for a german version of it, 'cause he's new to this kind and can't read english that well.
I hope you can give me a hint where to find one

Hope you can help us to make the CHS ROM done.
Be aware, the Chinese shiped upgrade ROM on xda's FTP is CHT ROM, rather than CHS ROM.
Here is the latest CHS ROM:

To upload these rars is really difficult. Finally, I split the rar into 8 packages and get things done.
Any one who wants to upgrade his/her magician into the lastest Simplified Chinese ROM and ExtROM are welcome to use this SD card ROM.
Radio ROM upgrade is not included, but can upgrade to v1.11.00 seperately. Any one who wants to do this, please post here, I will let you know how?

This is only because few Chinese users are reading and writing in English. In fact, I post the news in a Chinese forum, over thousands replys have been out and waiting for your great work. You are becoming a hero in the forum.

first off, just want to thank you for ur hard work on the extra storage space..
second, totally off topic, but when you get the chance to patch the Dopod 818 chinese rom, would you be able to pull out the original Dopod splash screen? Since you were able to replace it with the volcano splash, i'm thinking you should be able to pull out the original splash. I've been looking for this for a while but with no luck. I thought maybe the splash screens (splash1.nb and splash2.nb) are stored in one of the cab files in the EXTROM but I couldnt find it. So, if you wouldn't mind, would you pull those files out (doesn't matter if it's nb, bmp, jpg, etc.)...just want the originals. Thanks in advance!!

Hi guys, i've just bought an Italian V1640 Vodafone branded... i can tell you honestly that the actual rom sucks and i've decided to upgrade to the latest imate rom...
I've only one problem, even if i took a look to the forum and to wiki, i've found only topics related to italian rom for 1640 but no files available...
Is that possible that one of you can send me an italian vodafone rom for 1640 even if it's a old one??? I want it because i want the possibility to revert back to an original rom in case i've to send the pda for maintenance!!!

Look for instruction in the UNIVERSAL UPGRADING SECTION
Download a ROM from the ftp site
use the tool NoId (run it for 2 time)....

hi ^^ i saw this post so i went to that site and made my personal rom for my qtek 1010...
i got wm2003 se.. good
but one thing i wanted to know, i spent a long time chosing the tools i want in it.. then downloaded the file, flashed my 1010.. and then.. there's wm2003se, but only 2 extra utility and none of those i chosed (such TCPMP...)
can anyone explain me something? ^^

Than you have to take a look at your provider....
Otherwise you can get a ROM from the Romkitchen. Either an clean ROM or already with additional programs included

you can dump it from following this link Hereand me or Mord4z could cook a Dutch ROM for you and your language id is 0413 assuming that your phone is NLD Dutch Nederland so use 0413 instead of 0416 hope this helps
Thank you for your help. I don't have a dutch palm so that is the problem, I want to make it a dutch phone. So I guess there is no dutch rom around I could built it my self (did this ones before for the Wizard). So If anyone of you got a good kitchen and a base rom I could use (in WWE). That would be great!

sorry i couldnt help the only way i know how to build a different language ROM is by having the the OEM language sorry

My 6.1 thread here has the kitchen files for the ROM that the phone came with its Build 19216 and i will upload the Stock English ROM later hope this helps
**UPDATE** i just got a Dutch Dump from thesequel and i will be making a Dutch ROM for my builds and Mord4z also got a Dutch dump so he might also make Dutch ROMS for his Builds

Hello, sorry for my bad english i'm from holland....
Im trying to make my own custom dutch rom... i start with the 2.13 wwe rom and first thing i do is to translate to dutch. i followed this tut
porting-or-creating-roms-in-different-languages-for-any-windows-phone-device
now when i'm ready. i flash my rom en then rom boots, and then it coms to the connection setup, its says checking sim status( Sim-kaartstatus) and thats al its stays at that screen.
Now it's not the first time i'm trying it now for over 3 weeks and cant get it to work could someone please help me. I looked in the forum but i could'nt find anything.

What build are you trying to use? What build are the dutch files from?
If you are building a com 3/5 ROM with com 2 dutch files that won't work.
thank you verry verry much that was the problem. i used the language files from 1.72 vodafone stock rom, with build 23138. now i looked for new language files and it worked....yessssssss.
Now i finaly can begin to make my first custom rom.....
