Hermes/8525 HTC Case on a Tytn II - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Accessories

I really like the smooth leather feel of the HTC horizontal case for the Hermes/Tytn and the HTC logo. Unfortunately, I sold mines before buying the Kaiser.
Is anyone using the Tytn I leather case with their Kaiser? Also, any opinion on the case below (the black version):
http://www.senacases.com/Brands/HTC-TyTN-CASES/LATERAL-POUCH-A01

I'v had two of these cases (one for a Moto SLVR L7 & the TyTN II) and really like it. It has a nice classy professional look and is inexpensive, much more so than the one you linked too.
Sorry forgot the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/for-AT-T-HTC-89...52|39:1|66:2|65:12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318

i got a nice genuine HTC leather case online and its pretty sweet, also they do carry it at most bestbuy stores.($25) should fit several htc phones pretty snuggly, because the 8525, tilt, mogul are all about the same size.

OEM TyTn II case
I would actually kill to get another kaiser OEM case.. my original one was stolen and I just haven't found an aftermarket one I like as well..

Well, if anyone wants a similar case, I found it at:

I bought an AT&T Tilt refurb and it didn't come with a case. I used my 8125 case for a week or two until I bought the one referenced above. I only paid $14.95 at wirelessground.com
I love the case, I'm tempted to buy another one while I can (just for a spare)

OKAY, Whats the BEST CASE on the market??

Hi,
So I have had the Kaiser for over a month already. I need a case!! What is the top quality case out right now? Is it www.proporta.com, or another manufacturer?
Cheers,
Phil
or this one, http://www.krusell.se/product.php?productID=2774?
I am siding with the Proporta though. What else?
Phil
I really hope that the Noreve case thats supposed to be coming out for the Kaiser isnt one that doesnt allow you to use the keyboard while it is in the case...and i wish it would be coming out soon, they keep on pushing it..

Vaja cases are amazing, but they r $65
Kaiser Case Options
For the time being, I'm getting by ok on the stock Kaiser case along with a small neoprene case from OP/ Tech USA. The Velcro on the stock case will lose its grip over time and repeated use and that fact alone has me case hunting too.
The OP/ tech case is useful for when I just want to carry the phone someplace other than clipped to my belt (say a cargo pocket). There is a clip on it too if need be. The real plus for me is its utility & bang for the buck: the case provides shock & screen protection and even a bit of water resistance with minimal bulk. It stashes well and the price is right. There are color options too. I’ve used these cases for cameras, GPS and cell phones for some time now and like them a lot.
http://optechusa.com/product/detail/?PRODUCT_ID=35&PRODUCT_SUB_ID=
Mind you, I’m still looking for a different leather case that is appropriate in business environment. This one looks kind of interesting at the moment.

I am a big fan of the Krusell cases. I have one for my 3125, 8125, 8525, and my son's SLVR. But the one they have specific for the Tilt/TyTN II I don't really care for. And I've decided I like the looks of the Tilt so much I don't want to cover it up with that style of case. *better to show it off when pulling it out* I am swaying to a horizonal case like the one you linked to. Could elaborate on the "bulkiness" of that case. Does it compare to the one that came with the 8125?
I should have my Proporta case in the next few days. Will post a review when I've got it.

How is the clip on that case? It looks pretty nice for the money but I will use the clip all the time and need it to hold very well to my belts.

I'm sure it comes with this one. Works great holding on to a belt. Another thing I like about the Krusell is their Multidapt consept. See here Provides a lot of versitility on how and were one can attach there phone.
The Krusell Horizontic case I am using is slightly bulkier than the one supplied with the Tytn II. It however seems sturdier in offering protection to the device. The case can by attached either via the supplied clip or via the two belt loops at the back. I also like the fact that it closes by means of a magnetic button, and not via a velcro strip.
Krusell also offer a lifetime guarantee on the products. I am mentioning this not that I have any connection with them, but because I once sent in a case for a replacement and this was done with no questions asked.
I bought one of these cases on Ebay. It arrived Friday and I found it to be a perfect fit. All the cutouts match up and it's very well made.

From which sites did you order your cases? I'm asking because not many sites stock Krusell and I would like to have some options fur any further purchases.

Hi,
I am new and have the TyTN II for two weeks now. Beautifulll!
My previous model P3300 is lighter though, but hasn't features I really wanted to have (HSDPA f.i.)
On topic now:
I've ordered a case from pielframa for the P3300 beginning this year and the quality/fit was awesome. I've emailed them last week and they informed me the TyTN II case is in the making (<-- I'm dutch, so not sure if this is correct) by there design department and will be on the market soon.
Reading the posts here I think the noreve.com case mentioned by "hofo_mofo" looks like it is good quality with perfect fit too. Just wanted to add pielframa on this thread as their case for my P3300 was just perfect!
As soon the TyTN II case from pielframa comes out it's mine, I will be really carefull till then in the meantime
It is available

I like Pielframa cases, having had one for a previous pda. They are of a good quality and fit. However, what type of Pielframa case are you after? Is it the one where to talk on the phone you have a flap of leather dangling about? I don't particularly like that design for a phone.

Athena/U1000 housing

like my previous HTC devices, dropped this one too. But unlike those old models, very difficult to find a new housing for Athena. Doesn't come cheap from HTC.
Has anybody been through this.
Theres already a thread about an online outfit selling black x7500 cases. Think they wanted $100.. Have a search.
Athena/U1000 Housing
Thanks for the advice. I am looking for the original housing of the unit. Not an add-on protective case. Living close to Shenzhen (birthplace of all accessories) is very useful for me. Unfortunately, cannot find the original body of U1000 so far.

original case - BUY

hello!
i need help!
I've damaged my pouch case of my brand new touch pro. (my dog biten it actually).
I've been searching the web to buy a new one (from HTC, equal to the original boxed one, since I really love it), and I can't find it!
does anyone has any to sell (because just bought another one) or knows where I can find it??????
PLEASE????

I'll sell you mine as i never use it, I can't stand the velcro and I think the grey is really ugly. Or if you had a mogul, the touch pro will fit in the leather case that the mogul came in. PM me if you are interested.
P.S. I know I'm not that active on this site but we can do the deal through paypal so it is secure and I'm extremely active on smartphonejunkie.com...just postin so you know I won't scam you
Which case are you after? My VFUk TouchPro came with a leather tube that does not have a belt clip... I bought a black case HTC case from www.expansys.co.uk which uses velcro to seal - not ideal but am using for now - I have a couple of TyTii cases which use a magnet to keep them closed... only problem is they are a little on the large side... then again so am I + I like my ladies a little on the large side... Just my luck to end up living with a skinny, fridget, short arsed, *****...
she has just read this as I am writing this on the sofa - nothing for me again tonight...

Screen Protector:
Just using the original screen protector for now, waiting on BSE to release.
for the Case:
I was thinking about going to buy the second one myself. (the first one doesn't look like it's made for HTC Fuze/Touch Pro.)
however, i bought this one instead: Focalprice
(hopefully they will fit my Fuze. Also, since Nokia N95 is almost the same size of the Fuze, i'm ebay-ing for Nokia N95 Case... lot more choices)
As for the Headphones get the OEM HTC. I wanted to get that one, but they don't ship to Canada or shipping is too expensive. don't get the adapter... since you already have the adapter with your original Fuze. here is another one I can suggest you: DX
and what do u think about this ??

Yeah DX just takes foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrr to ship the item. Usually 3-4 weeks for me.
Adapter is enormously chunky when I pull it out so it gets sort of embarrassing each time

HTC OEM Case: Will it work for Fuze?

The case below is a horizontal pouch style. I am curious about the fit. IT was originally marketed with the HTC Touch Dual styled devices. Do you guys think it would be a good fit for the Fuze?
http://cgi.ebay.com/HTC-TOUCH-OEM-E...14&_trkparms=72:1240|66:4|65:12|39:1|240:1318
The other option for me is another OEM case shown here:
http://www.windowsmobilenow.com/us/p_wm_acc1.aspx?i=169487&partner=wmusfroogle
If anyone has either of these cases I would really like your comments on fit. I expect the finish will be similar to the finish of the HTC OEM Tytn case that I currently carry. Any help is appreciated as i need to protect her soon. My front pocket is not the ideal carry spot for me and the Tytn case is simply too big for the Fuze.
I'm using the S322 case, magnetic closure instead of velcro, for my T-Mobile MDA Vario IV (Raphael 300).
Bit tight in the early days, but works like a charm.
You mention that yours has a magnetic closure instead of velcro. Did they release both variants? Where did you purchase from and how did you ensure that you got the right one.
I bought it at a mobile phone shop in the nearest city, don't remember which one...
It was in an original HTC blister packaging, they removed it so I could try it on my Vario IV.
As I already stated, a tight fit, so I handed over 16 € and left them the blister packaging
It has one magnet, not as powerfull as the two in the TyTN case but strong enough.
Don't know about the velcro closure, it's not mentioned on the Dutch site, it's mentioned on the UK site and the Expansys site. (who are running the European htc accessory store)
Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, most US dealers never carry OEM cases, and I am forced to buy online sight unseen. I like a snug fit that develops into a perfect fit as you've described so I guess I just need to make my purchase.

Guys,
I will go to BestBuy to check this out in further detail. But in the meantime...
@Venelar,
Please post some photos of the phone in the case and out. I would love to see as many as you could post.
EDIT:
I went by my local BestBuy, and sure enough that is the exact case that I already have. IMNSHO that case is too large for the phone. I will be trying to secure the HTC PO S322.
Guys, I was on the HTC Forum where I saw this "customizable leather" case and some glowing reviews. It seems to be nice enough, and thought I would see any of the xda family had picked one up. I have never ween it mentioned here so I thought you guys would want to know. I think I'll order one.

I purchased this soft pouch case ( http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wir...=organic&utm_term=POS322&utm_campaign=froogle ) from the store in NYC. It's a tight fit at first, it even peeled away my screen protector (2 of them) at first but it becomes just right after awhile. The velcro could be a bit better too...
