Is it possible: Qtek 9100/k-JAM ROM on a dopod 838

Hi it seems that Qtek and i-mate are a bit faster in coming out with ROMs. I was wondering if I could update my dopod 838 [WIZA100] with a Qtek 9100 or k-JAM [WIZA200] ROM, if I recall correctly the difference between the 2 models are the dopod has WiFi 802.11b and the Qtek 9100 and k-JAM have 802.11g. Aside from this is the physical appearance. Has anyone with a dopod 838 updated his/her device with a ROM from Qtek or i-mate?

1) How do I do it? What tools do I need?
2) Does WiFi work with a Qtek/k-JAM ROM?
3) Is the device stable? Any noticeable performance boosts?

Yep !! you can do that.
Actually I did try all ROMs and found out the the best (fast&stable) ROM is T-Mobile.

I was able to flash it to T-Mobile but I lost the Mono BT streaming so I decided to revert back to the dopod ROM. Also I noticed that CVC on both ROMs are a bit different. On my dopod it says: "say a command" with the T-Mobile version it just chimes. I'll play around with my dopod ROM for a bit longer then maybe I will play with the other ROMs as well.

Yes, Germany has the 1.13.111.1 GER and Austria has the 1.13.112.1 GER. You could add your infos to the wiki.

only for your information:
a original HTC P3300 has the ROM build Number 1.12.407.1 GER
(Today 12-11-06 I received a P3300)

is there a upgrade from O2? where should I keep looking?

Hi, I have just bought a Ford Mondeo MKIV, and it has a radioCD Sony with BT, V2C.. etc.., but I have a problem when I try to link the PDA and the radio to use the BT handsfree, I have been checking in the web and I have seen that the unit has been tested with a phone which had the rom version 1.13.111.1 GER.
I'd like to test this rom with my car

AT&T 8525 question about TYTN II roms

Hello, I have an AT&T 8525 that is already SIM/CID unlocked and HardSPL'd. I am having some WIFI issues with the current rom I have on it (http://rapidshare.com/files/46467733/HTC_TyTN_WWE_3.54.255.3_6275_1.48.00.10_108.exe) and I want to know if it possible to install the official TYTN II rom onto this device or will there be compatibility or other issues?? Also, I found a link to the "official" WM6.1 rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=365068
Windows Mobile 6.1 official - 3.02.405.0 - Radio - 1.58.26.20
Does anyone know if this is the real HTC release?? ANd will it work with the AT&T 8525 that I have??

Since your device is a hermes....(aka HTC TyTN/AT&T 8525) the rom you've specified will not work because it is a rom for a Kaiser (aka TyTN II/AT&T 8925-Tilt).
AFAIK the official WM6.1 ROM for the Hermes hasnt emerged but there are ALOT of cooked version in the WM6 section. Good luck.

T-Mobile SDA (Typhoon) WM6 Problems

Hi to all.
I have a T-Mobile (German) SDA, wich I upgraded (thanks to all of you who posted here) to WM6. I also tried WM6.1. So far, both work perfectly, with one small problem:
The JOYSTICK.
It's impossible to use as it works right now:
Left is Down, Right is Up, and no othe function.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

The Original Typhoon has no Joystick, use the ROM for the Feeler and the Joystick works! I tested it on my german T-Mobile SDA with WM6.1 from ALEUT.

Used Orange SPV M3100 with Windows TAI Edition

Hi there,
I purchased a used SPV M3100 and it comes with Windows TAI edition, which is quite annoying to me, I want its original rom or 6.1 on this device for this I download different rom's from orange website and some others but no one is working for me please if anyone can help me to find original or 6.1 rom for this device...
