htc shadow touch-flo to other smartphones question - Shadow General

well i used to have a htc t-shadow and i really liked the splash screens ,the touch-flo like menu etc ,well my main question is if i can have them in an xda graphite smartphone, is there a cab or a theme that can make my xda graphite like this

Check around the XDA Graphite section of the smartphones, if it's there. A ROM cook should be able to do this. Currently, there is no known way of installing the neo interface by a cab file.

Best firmware for XDA orbit

I recently got an XDA orbit from a friend and I've been having a look at upgrading it to one of these newer WM6.1 firmwares. It has WM6 on it at the moment.
I was just wondering what is generally considered to be the best firmware for this phone? And what makes the firmwares different? Speed? memory usage? themes? features? etc.
Also I quite like the look of the UI on the touch diamond. Is it possible to get any of these UI features on the Orbit (with overclocking)?
hello dude,
I'm currently using Oops Black V1.0
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401062
using this on my XDA orbit, and its running sweet. I've installed the HTC diamond theme
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-htc-diamond-theme.html
and it looks and runs superb.
the only thing i think is missing from this rom is more games..

HTC Dream / T-Mobile G1 skins for Android Emulator available

Since there isn't a dedicated Android or HTC Dream forum to post in, yet, I'll put it here.
I've created four HTC Dream Skins for the Android Emulator featuring the black and the white version of the phone both in portrait and in landscape mode.
You can grab them on this site:

This has been getting a LOT of recommendations lately. It combines the best elements of Touch's HTC Home today plugin, and some of the nicer parts of PointUI's Home.

02 Xda Orbit 2 Rom Question.

Hi I'm new to the forum, and i've just bought my shiny new Orbit 2.
I look through the forum and seen lots of different roms posted, but just wanted to know if their is any specific rom that people would recommend for the 02 Xda Orbit 2.
I in particular like HTC's interface, with the touchflow 3d if it's possible to get that working.
Also, could i just ask, does the 02 Xda Orbit 2 have a giro built in like the Touch cruise model from HTC, as i believe they are almost identical.
Rich.
Hi Rich,
i don't know what you mean with "giro built in", but the technical features are identic to Touch Cruise. Basically you can use any ROM from Polaris for your Orbit2.
3D is not really working at the moment. Latest Custom-Roms are delivered with the Manila 2D interface. The look&feel is akin to the 3D Version, but without heavy animations . See Screenshots in the different ROMs. (e.g. c_shekhar or 3lit3)
It doesn't exists "the best ROM". Every ROM has pro and con. Compare the feature lists and choose which is the best for you.

Sense for Android powered HTC devices,as of now is not easily,if at all, available for us Touch Pro 2 owners who sometimes run Android 2.2 on our T.Pro 2s instead of windows mobile.Ive tried & HTC Sense i think will only work with the Snapdragon Processors, but i dont hav a device with a Snapdragon processor so i dont really know.I might wait for the 1.5 Ghz processor HTC will hav in some devices in the future.Because really, my T.Pro 2 is definetly the most useful, customizable, versatile device that can run any version of windows, old & new,Android, and i do all that with my T.Pro 2 that i flashed for use on Crickets Mobile network,& everything works great & Cricket doesnt even hav or sell any windows devices. So im extremely impressed with all the hard work evryones put into the developement of the Touch Pro 2.Such as roms, xdandroid, cht, maxsense, cool apps, etc, etc, etc,,,Thanks again evryone who helped.SORRY for straying off topic so much.Dont want u to think im tryin to hijack ur thread.Just greatly impressed with xdandroid developement for my T.Pro 2.Thanks,& if there is a way to get the Sense flipclock is what i want.
search for beautiful widget either in the android market place or online and you'll find that that clock looks almost identical to the sense flip clock... this is of course just for android NOT windows
