Hi.
Im trying to set up a connection between my Laptop and Charmer but cant find a Bluetooth Modem.
Everything else works perfect.
I Paired them and found two Comports but no Modem.
OS Is Windows XP SP2
Charmer WM5 OS 5.1 461 (Build 15671.3.3.0)
Any Hints?

hi i am currently upgrading my xda II to wm2005...just want to know if i can use activesync 3.8 on wm2005 or do i need to upgrade to activesync 4??....thanks in advance

I have had this problem;
I previously successfully connected to my work PC with activesync 4.0 over bluetooth & my XDA II running WM2003, now having upgraded to WM2005 I am unable to re-establish an activesync connection via Bluetooth.
The PC is running XP SP1 with a TDK Bluetooth dongle & it's associated drivers (This is known to be setup correctly with other bluetooth connectivity having no problems)
I have tried using the "Geekzone" activesync over bluetooth step through, but I believe this is written for earlier versions of both activesync & Windows Mobile OS.
Would somebody who has successfully achieved an activesync connection via bluetooth post how to set up thanks.

Hello guys i have a magician with windows mobile 2003, ROM version 1.12.00 WWE, actually downloaded from magician wiki,
my problem is as the title suggests, i can't synchronise using bluetooth, things are fine wth USB, but not with bluetooth.
i have been searching the forum for a week now, and followed many steps, but no use...when i start Active Sync on the PPC and i press connect via bluetooth i get stuck in "connecting to host" and it doesnt change.
i have an ASUS notebook (XP SP2)with Build in Bluetooth, and use ActiveSync 4.5.
2 more notes:
1. i had vista on the notebook a week ago, and things were totally fine, bu as i am back to XP, and to ActiveSync 4.5, things don't work, it never worked even with the previous XP.
2. i am not good in these things,,,so please a bit more detalied comment will be very helpful

since I upgraded to latest bios, my shift is asking me to install drivers for bt, but apparently they are not on the machine.
can anyone help with the files?!?

The are included with vista. I suggest you reset your config to factory.
alternative BT interface/drivers?
As long as this question is on the table ... XP's BT interface stinks, Vista's stinks^2; I've looked for but not found a third-party interface and drivers; anybody know of any?
my bt drivers are also lost too, what seems to be the problem, and if someone got them working could you post the drivers
I tried to reset the machine, but still no drivers...
strange fact!!!

earlier my active sync used to work with my elfin win 6.0 but since i upgraded to the above mentioned rom win 6.1.... i m not able to connect to my active sync on my desktop running xp
do i need separate drivers for my device now???
PS- device connects as in removable disk mode
any suggestions

well... i can connect and sync but when transfering files (music,pics) xp crashes often. also couldn't figure out how to switch off backlight on my elfin.
