i have had some requests for my program icons so i decided to post them
I will add more when i have more time

NOTES
=====
1. This cab will install the following
icon.dll (required for the icons to your windows directory)
Folders with my icons to your start->programs menu
2. The folders that will be installed have been given an ENGLISH name. If you have your default folders in another language, you will end up with your original ones PLUS my own folders.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR FOLDERS
===================
1. Using a file explorer navigate to /windows/start menu/programs
2. Every folder (from my skin, has its own icon.lnk file. You can copy that to any folder you like to give it the same icon
3. Put that mess in a nice organized order!!!

Excellent. These might end up in my ROM, if I can get evrything else working. Seems like nobody wants to share the Rhodium commanager, which is all I need to make more progress. Thumbs up
Here's some I put together. Not quite as nice, but effective.
Same install instuctions as Gianni86's folder icons.

[Tweak - QVGA] [3-Sept] | 4/5 Portrait | 4/5/6/7 Landscape | Start Menu 6.5

Be warned it may take more than one SR to have the new start menu work. I had to do 2 resets to get the 5 column portrait to show up.
Right I have finally done this as i could not find a working one anywhere so i made one.
Thanks to c3ro for the cabs.

Install:
1. Run the cab
2. Soft Reset
I don't take responsibility for it breaking the start menu, or anything else... (Really shouldn't do this btw)
Also I found that boot going from the 4 => 7 is long than normal so don't panic, too much
Backup your StartMenu_GridScene_320x240.cpr and StartMenu_GridScene_340x320.cpr files before trying this incase of problems. I will also attach a set from mine if your too lazy (I know I would be)

Not working on my Touch2 (HTC mega), no problems after installation btw.

is that the stock rom? i think there has to be a reg change to let it work

something similar even?

This How To will show you step by step how to create a cab file.
You can cab up anything you want to put on your phone in ANY directory...
Cab Manager Program
I use and recommend WinCE Cab Manager (Get it HERE)
it has a 30 day free trial and is $99 after that...

Getting Started
First you will need a file to cab. We will start with a basic single manila file.
i have attached one if you don't already have..
* Here you can simply add a document/picture to your my documents folder
After Installing Open WinCE Cab Manager

Enter Name's for Company and whatever cab your making
Just Click Next..
Just Click Next Again....
And now click finish...
Now this should be what you have. Displays all info for cab file
Now we need to add the files.
From windows explorer just click and drag the files right on top of Files...
Once you do that the following dialog box pops up...
Here you can change name or attributes
Click Location tab
Here you can choose what directory to put file(s) in. you can also add a new folder
Click Ok
Now back at main screen
Here you can "Allow Uninstall"
also you can Compress
I recommend compressing for files over a meg or two
From the menu click CABINET...PROPERTIES...
Here you can change ALL properties of cab file
Click OK...
Back at the Main Screen...
All left to do is review and Save
You can also add Shortcuts and make changes to the registry...
Now to Save...Choose location and SAVE!

[Guide] Control PC through HTC Touch Elf(in)

Hi guyz. I am no programmer but i came across this little tool and thought might share it with you guyz. I am just an End User and the complete credit to this App goes to the Admin of T2 Remote Touch
Okie herez the steps itz very simple :-
1) Download T2 Remote Touch Delta v2.0
2) Connect your Phone through Active Sync and Run the MSI file and Install T2 Remote Touch.
3) Next you will get and option to Install the App in the Phone with Message "Install T2 Remote Touch using the default Installation Directory". If you want to install the app in Phone Memory Click yes Else Select no and Select your Storage Card (Recommended).

4) Now go to your phone and complete the setup.
5) COme back to your desktop and Finish the Setup.
6) You will see a window with 2 ip Addresses one to control through Internet and one through local WiFi or WLAN. Note down watever u need and press any key to continue.
7) Next Step is to configure the Server Right click the Remote Touch Server Icon in the SysTray and click Setup. These setup the port no. and the password for your server. If your server is behind a router then make sure to allow the port no. u set for port forwarding.
8) All done now start the app in your mobile. Most probably you will get a Authentication Failed, because the default settings might not work for everyone. Go to Menu > Setup. Put in there the IP Address, Port and Password you have and all done you can now control your PC from your mobile after connection.
9) Use Scroll to move through the desktop and tap for left click. I hope u can figure out the rest of it.

[SOLVED] Connection setting issue

I having a issue with connection setting page in start menu\setting\connections\connections
its appears everything white.
doesnt appear link to add new connection or edit my current conections
i wish for someone can help me, please.

i had a problem like this, probably not related but ill explain anyway now that ive mentioned it
*linking a .lnk directly to the "advanced" tab caused me to have issues like the one your having = unable to make/edit a connection.
*for some reason it needs to load the connection in "tasks" before showing it in "advanced" so linking me .lnk to the "tasks" tab fixed my issue.
however, i suggest you run the htc connection setup, or ConnectionSetupAuto.exe.
this will add a new connection and youl be able to see/edit the connection settings

Hardly, I suppose. The menu interface should be visible without any connection setup. Example - stock rom for any non-htc device.
My old Asus has no first boot setup or whatever like my Leo but Connection menu interface is available for manual setup.
It looks like either OP has problems with mui, or some "interface tweaks" had ruined the menu....
Suggestions:
1. Check mui
2. Do not cook in your custom tsk and all graphic custom **** and try to make close to stock rom.

Greetings. Well my connection was added but i wasnt see it
I find the solution, the problem was in the .rgu in ExtendedPkg from oem directory was changed by mistake. im using osbuilder. im just dump again my stock rom and change it, Now work fine.
