Well..when i bought it , i over loaded it with aplications that it took few minutes to load.
stupid me, i tried to upgarde the Rom , by downloading it, basicly i ****ed it , and finally i succeeded to find an older version , and it works fine...but.:
it doesn't last long , editing the contacts , or receiving few calls, it shuts down..
is it a battery problem..?i had it for 2 years ,and my wiled guess is that battery life is over..but i cant be sure about it.
its a vodafone v1640 , unlike the UK site, the Italian site does not give any upgrading options.
so,if you are Italian , and you have the new rom..would you write me..?

Your problem seem to be a battery problem, I read other threads of these problems.
I've the Vodafone ITA ROM, UNI_VODA_IT_130106_130260_11410_ITA.exe.
I thing it is the last vodafone italian rom.

Just got my new M5000 after i accidentally threw the last one across the work car park.
I have just spent the last 45 mins browsing the site to work out what the latest roms and radios are so that i can get my nice virgin phone up to date.
However all i did was get very confused easily done im afraid.
Could someone please give me a difinitive answer on which updates i should run.

First question is did you have any problems with your original M5000?
If not, dont fix something that is not broken!
If the original ROM worked ok for you.. stick with it.. I have...
Sensible searching in this forum will find you cures to most issues without upgrading your ROM...
If you still want to upgrade your ROM I'll leave the answer to 'which' & 'how' to others who have tried and tested it...
i had upgraded the radio to 1.6 i think but i see there is a 1.9 now but i cant find the exe to download.
Upgrade the radio, but don't bother with the extended rom.
Just remember to take note of the GPRS connection settings before you hard-reboot.
I had a replacement M5000 a few weeks ago i am now running the latest orange rom with radio 1.09.
It works great however one word of note i had to update the rom 3 times before the calender worked i assume the file must have corrupted during upload.
Can you point me in the right direction for the roms and radio

After a few times reading for 3-4h I think I have understood the main things about changing the ROM on o2-Orbit. But I didn't get one thing - is the phone locked (CID) for changing the original rom with a not certified one, or it is locked for every kind of switching.
I'm asking this, because I got my phone in German, and I wonder if I could get an original English o2 ROM and put it on my phone. I think this should not be a problem, eh ? I really do not need any thing more than having a descent English interface, cuz my German is ... Oh my sweet ... i do not know if there is someone less knowing that language
Do u know (if the above is true) where can I get original English o2 rom, and if I do so, is there any HOW TO for doing the switch ?
And please, if my treat is a already discussed one, do not hesitate to erase it from the face of the "mother" forum .

Hi Guy ... I had the same problem , and tried many ROM and also the Original Rom From HTC .... so far it works ,,, but i lost the GPS functionality ,... so i wanted to get the Wm6.1 or 6.5 ....
and i discovered one thing makes it works without stopping on boot ,,,
if i twisted the device and boot it from the button ,,, it works fine and stable for many days ,,, so i think it maybe breakage on the circuit board ,,, but i tried many times and it works,.,,,
now aday i m using wm6.1 from Thailand .... PDA MOBIZ ..very fast and stable

I have a T-Mobile Dash 3G, hard-spl'ed, who is now a HTC Snap. I flashed the 3volution rom who is btw a great rom. But it's in english only :-(
So is there a way to flash language only? If yes how and where i find the files?
OR any other stock, cooced rom with German Language?
ok got a original german htc snap ROM for my device. Big problem is since i installed hardspl i can't flash original ROM's. everytime it freeze on 17% sometimes at 26% or 27%. i tried with Original shipped T-Mobile dash 3G and original singed HTC snap ROM. All the same. I tried to copy the nbh file from the original ROM to the 3volution folder and run the update util. but nothing seemt to work it freeze everytime. The only ROM what works is the 3Volution. what can i do?
i forgot to say that everytime it freeze serveral minutes later update ultil comes up with an communication error. so i'm not forcing it to power off, i have to.
i also flashed the hardspl 1.19 serveral times but in bootloader is still 1.17 hard, wtf???
Today i tried serveral times with an microsd. Same issue it stops upgrading at 17% (i don't know exactly because on my device the process is not shown in %)
what everytime works is the 3volution ROM. i'm helpless.
Nobody with same or similar problems?
it will also help if anybody says just yes or no or something!!!!!

i'm using a htc hd mini wich my freind had brought me several years ago from hong kong
i had no problem until several days ago that it had become considerably slow that made
me to put it away but i'd like that phone so i tried to reinstal it's original rom but it didn't
worked and the phone is still slow , i want to install O2 rom wich i've heard is very fast
after much trouble finding O2 rom , i can;t instal it and it says that this rom is not your
region rom , what should i do ?
