How to input Ping-yin
In order for me to text messaging from US with someone in China, I had to use Ping Yin (alphabet for Chinese). But the new layout of Shadow's keypad plus predictive text made it impossible. Is the predictive text scheme for Tmobile Shadow T9? How do I disable it? Any tip on how to use Ping Yin with this new design of keypad? Does someone know of a rom for Juno in Simplified Chinese? TIA a whole bunch.

For someone want to Disable XT9 for input your language. Because I had problem on my Pharos. I can't see suggestion word my language on Pharos.

yes i know,but it hide every symbols and leave only digits,it means i still can see all symbols except xt9 but if i tap anyone it gaves me numbers on window...
works like numlock!!!
i usually use sunnysoft touch keybord and polish language and hate T9 please help

Pls, try with "Zoomboard" Keyboard from Vito Software see link below. I'm work very fine with this software. It had Polish(214) language.

I'm sorry, what do you want exactly? The querty keyboard is one of the original ones. What do you mean by original t9? T9 is original.
If you can't speak english well enough to explain your wishes, just try and type very slowly, maybe someone will understand it!

the windows mobile from Microsoft have simple keyboard and small do not have qwerty keyboard
I think qwerty keyboard an application add to the mobile rom from htc like manila
i had k-Jam and it had a simple keyboard which did not have qwerty keyboard
so the t9 was more useful for me than t9 come with qwerty keyboard.
i mean like suggest four word come in one menu at same time and very smart and fast and save any word i write for futur use.
the problem when the rom come with qwerty keyboard the style orginal t9 disabled
and come with style special for qwerty keyboard.
i dont know if you understand me exactly what i mean

Good questions. I constantly change language too, and would be good if it is as easily as the iPhone keyboard.

On Market search for "Scandinavian Keyboard"
I have the US version, AT&T SGS3 phone, not the international one, and I would like to add portuguese (brazilian) to it.
On my previous S2 (international version) it came with but with ATT, it does not.
Anyway, if I go to applications, settings, language and input, language, it only offers me these 6 choices.
english
deutsch
espanol
francais
italiano
and one asian language that I cannot type!
or
if I go into the text message screen, then into the samsung keyboard settings, Language settings, it still only offers these languages

anyway, I need brazilian portuguese. Is there any way to get that?
I did some searching and saw how you can open up 5 more "hidden" languages but those do not include portuguese either.

that is a start. thank you for the link/idea. it helps somewhat in that it does change some things over to portuguese. which will definitely be useful. the one thing it does not do is go into the text messaging features.
what I am really trying to do is add portuguese to the swipe keyboard. There is a little toggle button you hit when you are inputting text. If you have three languages already selected, the button toggles between the three I need to add portuguese to that toggle because it then uses the portuguese dictionary to help me spell out everything I need to spell out, in portuguese.
anyone else have any ideas, input, solutions?
you can use swiftkey which has like 50 languages
I did a search on swiftkey. a million posts but I could not find anything on how to use it. I am a newbie with this phone and to this type of stuff. Can anyone help a brother out?
