Time zone keeps changing - P3600 General

Since I changed my rom to FixixNover 3.3 my Trinity keeps changing the time zone without any explanation.
I searched the forum and tried various solutions but none worked.
I have the "Automatic change time zone" disabled and I haven't used Active sync for some days and today it changed the time zone 3 times.
Is this a problem of this Rom or is it a problem of WM6.1?
I never had this issue when I had WM5.
Anyone can help me solve this issue or knows of a ROM that doesn't have this problem?

check if u install any software that effects time zone.
Flash the ROM again, do not install any program , see if you still have this problem.

try modify sys.txt in igo8 folder on sd,
copy this to sys.txt
[timezone]
sync_os_timezone=0
reset_os_timezone=0
this is little bug of IGO8,

I installed iGo 2008 a few days ago. Maybe that's what's causing this.
I'll try that and let you know.
Thanks for the tip.

Try this.
Hope this helps.

it doesn't go......when you use IGO8 and TOMTOM automatically the hour changes to GMT+2....but keep the local time, once you reset the phone or pass a long time....phone detects you are in GMT+2 and less 1 hour. The two solutions proposed DONSN'T GO....i think it something with the Satellites and the configuration of the navigators. Satellites have an internal clock that is configurated to GMT+2.

I don't know why, but it's solved after I delete "welcome center" ,when I cooked my new rom.

Tried this but the problem continues.
Everytime I use iGo2008 the timezone changes to +1 Prague...
I like iGo2008 very much but until this is solved I'll have to find another gps software. I don't remember having this problem when I had TomTom.

you need to make the sys.txt modification on the device program files folders as well. Trust me it works!

igo8/2006 doesn't work

hello,
can anyone tell me hoe to get igo8 to work ?
i've installed it, but it doesn't start ..
i've tried igo2006 but it doesn't work aswell..
i can't get them to start at all...
thanks
...
hello, in my jade igo 2008 perfectly. Have you configured it?.
i don't know how..
i've copied the 2277 and igo folders to my card, run the autorun, and copied the crack to the jade..
what else must i do ?
thanks.
You have to try more versions, for me running 8.0.0.49545 and 8.3.1.xxxxx, but I have problem with fixing satellites, it is periodically fixed and unfixed in 1 sec period... Only sometimes fixed ok :-(
i don't think it's a version problem, because igo 2006 does the same thing..
i don't know how to configure them...
can anyone tell me what i have to do after i've installed the programs ?
Igo2006 nor running under wm6.1, some patch exists, but I didn't try them. I never install Igo, only copy it to sd card, you have check the right path in sys.txt
[folders]
app="Internal Storage/iGO8"
i've tried that, still doesn't work..
Victor, what version of iGO8 are you trying to run. Version 8.0.0.49545 is definately working on my Jade with only one major caveat: switching off the display (by pressing the top button) causes communication failure with the GPS and requires a restart of iGO8 in order to rediscover the GPS.
thanx a lot for your help..
i finally managed to crack it , and it works just fine..
@victorpagu May be you had problems with licenses?
Maybe you should read more than 5 words... And with this patch running only Igo2006+
Work! Attached the pictures.
I got igo8 to work..
I don't know what the problem was..Probably the license or the data archive..
Thanks for your help !
And you sure it is Igo2006, not 2006+? I test patched Igo and working, but it is latest Igo 2006+ with new developed patch for Diamond due to wm6.1!
Alekss_UH, how did you solve fix and an unfix problem with GPS each second?
I have TT v7.9 and iGO 8.3.1.57021 and both have the same problem with GPS in my JADE.
Don't know how to solve...

you must say me
1. preferred file hosting
2. full path to program, ex: "Garmin\Garmin Mobile Xt.exe"
or "StorageCard\Program Files\TomTom\TomTom.exe"
and for automapa.. ?
Can You make one for polish people too ?
1) rapidshare or megaupload (http://www.megaupload.com/)
2) "Storage Card\AutoMapa EU\AutoMapa EU.exe"
thanks You very, very much in advance!!
P.S. the link from 1st post does not work..
may be it will work for Garmin
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=335BJ0QD
automapa and other can be done in 14:00-15:00 or evening after 19:00 GMT+2
because now i not at home : )
I tryed to improove code, but it has some limitations
path must be no longer that
\Wayfinder\Wayfinder.exe
i'm trying to find another way, but....
Does not seem to work. Garmin does show up under default navigators, but it cannot be selected, it goes back to google maps.
you make Garmin.exe as alternative file name?
Garmin folder in main memory?
Yes, I just copied Garmin Navigator TX to desktop, renamed to Garmin.exe, copied back to main memory. It shows up in the default navigators screen, but when I click on it, the selection panel simply closes and GM stays a default.
hmmm
i hav NOT installed GM
so may be try to rename googlemaps.exe in xxx.exe or about
and try again...
Still no luck. I renamed GM, and it no longer shows up in the panel. However, it would still not allow me to select Garmin, just would not open anything when I click Navigation. I guess there is smth different in my X1.
so lets check
if renamed then not seen
so you have right tune up garmin.exe
i have Uninstalled Wayfinder and Googlemaps...
may be uninstalling of GM will help
and if so, you can install GM again and see what happens...

No, that's not it. Uninstalled GM and Wayfinder, softreset, still does not work.
very suspictious....
may be any one also try to test
and then i could compare
ok mate let's do it together. but I am a noob ;(
if that is not a problem for You we can try with automapa. what do I need to do/prepare?

Lost BTTrayCE.EXE

Could any kind person post me or email me a copy of BTtrayCE for TP2 as I accidentaly deleted mine and now I can't use Bluetooth.
Info of the file path would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi clark97
That's wierd because normally if you delete a file in the ROM you just soft reset and it appears back.
Cheers
andrew-in-woking
Cheers , read in another post its because I installed tom tom 7.450 which overwrote it, for some reason a soft reset isn't enough and you need to either recopy or hard reset.
Thanks for reply
Clark
did you get your bluetooth working again? i have the same problem, Tomtom has killed it! Hard reset seems to be the only way to get it back on....
BTTrayCE.exe you will find this file in the \windows\ folder and a link in
autostart(i have delete it, i dont need everytime bluetooth on,
i have a link in the programm folder),
B2T.
when TT overwrite it, normally you can delete it(with TC or Resco)
after a Softreset you have the original BTTrayCE.exe back...

I had the same problem myself but found the answer on this forum:
TOMTOM places a new BT dlls under the windows folder that I had to remove:
\Windows\BtSdkCE30.dll
\Windows\BtCoreIf.dll
You can either ename them or remove them and then soft restart your Touch Pro 2 and everything will go back to normal.

I personally renamed them, being slightly nervous about deleting files in the Windows folder: still, it worked for me and evidently this fellow on the HTCForums website

Lost my BTTrayCe.exe (in fact, not that lost, rather the phone told me : "BTTrayCe.exe is not a valid WM application") after installing TT7.
After renaming the file all came back to normal.
So once again : thank you !
Thank you, that solved my father's problem
Problem solved.
Hi,
I had the same problem after installing TT7.
After renaming the two .dll files all was fixed after a soft reset.

No connection with internal GPS

Hi
During my holidays the internal gps stopped working on my Touch HD. I was using Duttys 6.5 R5 at that time. I noticed this when I wanted to start a tool called GPSed again after some days of not using it (before that, it worked fine and never had problems with connecting or synchronizing). Any tool that use the GPS was not able to connect to the GPS anymore. I tried soft resetting and a hard resetting the phone. All the different programs were able to connect and lock to a GPS signal pretty fast without any problem before.
Now I'm on Duttys 6.5 Leo 2 (flashed the phone yesterday) and there's still no sign of life from the internal GPS. I've used a number of programs to check (GPS Test, HTC GPS tool, google maps, tomtom) to see if any of these programs was able to connect. Non of the programs is able to connect via any com ports (com0 to com9).
Has anybody experienced or heard about similar problems where the internal GPS module just died?
Before I give up and assume that the GPS hardware module is simply broken, is there any way that I can check if the interal GPS is enabled/disabled (for as far as this is possible) or check if it is broken or not?
I've been googling like crazy, but so far I found no solution/advice.
Please advise!
[UPDATE]: I solved the problem by installing Duttys 6.5 Leo 3
Have you downloaded latest data using QuickGPS?
I had a similar problem with GPS on my touch HD. I didn't do a hard reset but I did do a soft reset which did not fix the problem. I used the HTC GPS tool to do a cold start of the GPS and this fixed it.
Hello, i had a similar problem after installing WM6 voip.
I read some post and i found that the problem was with dnsapi.dll in the direcory windows. Try to search in the forum.
I solved renaming this file in dnsapi_old.dll, you can try...after that reboot. If it does not work you can rename again and return to the initial state.

This I will have to look into. I have not installed any voip application, and I believe that Dutty also has not inserted any VOIP tool in the ROM that I used. With File Explorer on the phone I'm not able to find the dll file under \Windows\ (That's were it should be, isn't it?). Is it a hidden file?
It's good to know that some of you have had similar problems. That gives me a little bit of hope that I can get this fixed. Maybe I should flash my phone again but this time using a WM6.1 ROM.
Yes, dnsapi.dll is an hidden file you can see it with resco file explorer.
I don't know if your is the same problem...bat if you find the file you can try.

problem after sygic installation

Hi guys,
I've installed the Sygic software for gps navigation.
The program works good but I have a problem when I connect the phone to the PC, every time I disconnect it Sygic immediately starts on my TD2.
Do you have any idea how to get rid of this? I've already tried soft reset.
Thanks

memory card
try to delete "2577" folder
Place the maps on the storagecard, but do the installation in the devicememory. By disconnecting from pc, there can be "sort of" disconnect-connect of the memorycard followed by an autostart or autoinstall of software like navigators... Try and let us know...
