This skin is really nice to use, its really finger friendly n nice looking =D
How do you think friends? Do you like it also?
I want to express my thanks by Voting for this skin =)
Go here to download the theme:

thanks for the heads up. Looks really promising. Trying it right now.
Scratch that. Its very small. I prefer their iSkin skin much better. I can type faster and more accurately.

Welp, I was gonna give it a try, but I see its smaller the iSkin. Guess its a no-go. I can type pretty fast with the iSkin. Maybe if you made it bigger

iskin has no complete buttons n if you are doing sms most often the screen can't read the text anymore am I right?

yes you are right
Thanks for the link..this keyboard skin is the most perfect keyboard skin that I ever used..I will vote for the skin for sure
Btw you don't post the benefit of using this skin?? It has been posted by the creator of the themes..post it from here

This is the XT9 Phonepad, supposedly the newer version of T9 Phonepad. And I've been looking high and low for it. Do appreciate if someone can share the cab file.
I've come across the PDAViet T9 Phonepad cab. Are you sure it's the same as this one here?

You beat me to it! I was just trying this out and figure out this wonderful feature of placing the keyboard (only tried 'Space' so far, not sure about the others) as you like!!
Also, please soft reset after installation. It didn't work on Trinity at first installation cos' I forgot to soft reset. Read the 'Readme' file and realise that.
Haven't try XT9 but I think this is as good!!
I've been using TouchPal for a few hours and I must say this is the best SIP I've used. However, I realize that if I use TouchPal with the Notes program in WM6, I get some squares. I think the squares I'm talking about are the squares that show when fonts are not available. Every time I use the 'soft-navigation-buttons' in TouchPal in Notes, it writes a 'square'. It also occurs when I use the 'backspare-whole-word' function which is slide-to-left-backspare. The normal tap on the backspace works fine. This problem only appears in Notes. I've tried TouchPal with SMS-ing and Word Mobile and there's no problems. Any idea why this is happenening? Can anyone confirm this please?
I've encountered the square problem in notepad too.
This in big-key format makes typing easier and it's a great idea to allow the space key drag-n-drop in three positions! Added to that, so does the enter key, which also can swift to further left or remain right to suit left/right hander.
It's something near to what I'm looking for. I've tried XT9 keyboard from previous post but can't find the one shown in the picture. I presume XT9 got its edge.
great but only English
is there any way to put another language?

TouchPal v3 now released. Anyone want to design a good skin?

http://www.cootek.com
TOUCHPAL
What's new in V3?
Thanks to our customer feedback and their support to our continueous innovation, there're a bunch of new features in V3:
* Now you can "flow" your keyboard by sliding left or right!
* Support two more layouts: single-key layout and 9-key layout.
* Press-hold a key will expand all the characters on that key, including the accented letters (e.g., "a" for "á").
* Prediction is now based on context.
A lot more features and enhancements are available in V3. A detail list of new stuffs in V3 >>

The skins are now customisable, but I find the default one is a bit boring.
Anyone care to enhance it?
Their new mistype correction is amazing!
Hebrewwwwwwww!
ok.. to be more specific than just yelling "HEBREW"... we israelies are having problems with writing in Hebrew in our keyboards after upgrading to WM6 because Eyron is dumb. (atleast in my eyes). and paragon supports only hebrew screen keyboard writing and not the physical keyboard. i believe that if they added hebrew to touchpal many israelies would buy it.
something to think about.
great news, installed already can't help with the skins though.
Ok, because no one was doing anything about a terrible standard skin , I changed all available png files to black and white in a graphic program. That did not take care of some backgrounds (ie help tag) and there is still a blue line across the keyboard. But I have no clue how to sort these out... Can anyone help?
BTW this SIP is amazing.
If you want more skins, look here: http://www.cootek.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=6

I've tried a bunch of keyboard programs and I have to say that this one is my favorite. Took just a bit of getting used to though. I just wish the installer didn't ask so many questions. That makes it tought to use UC.
i've attached the CAB if anyone wants it. Its a 15 day trial of Pro, then reverts to Standard.
Hebrew Lang Pack
Can't wait for it to come out.. i need a comfortable hebrew keyboard so bad.
Any way to alter rows & columns with skins?
I doubt this can be done because I didn't see anything about it on Cooktek's tutorial, but can you only change the keyboard color with skins?
I was excited to see that this new version adds a 9-key (usually that would be called a 12-key) layout because I like that for one-handed typing a lot, but it looks like you're still stuck with 5 columns.
I would much prefer to have bigger button in 3 columns like the htc keypad for portrait mode. Only problem with that one is the "side-effects" of XT9.
So is there any way to skin this new version and change the layout to 3 columns in portrait mode?
The awful sound
can i get rid of the nasty sound when i scroll left or right to select new keyboard layout...it makes a sound like a bomb is about to land on you
fixed: go to option and scroll until you find a selection to disable it.
This is a great keyboard. Amazing!
Just one question though, is there a way to change the color from blue to black?

You could probably achieve this with a skin on the PocketCM Keyboard. In fact I think it has been done. Search PocketCM Keyboard and there will be links to the skins in that thread.
The pic is from Gizmodo
And yes, that is not even a Windows Mobile device, let alone a smartphone. It is the LG Vu. Give up hope on someone being able to "direct you to this CAB," since it's not at all Windows Mobile compatible. However, I'm sure there are similar looking skins for PCMKeyboard. Check here.
Alternatively, Resco Keyboard has a skin competition going right now, with some nice looking skins entered so far. IIRC, "Gesta" looks pretty similar to this. Resco Keyboard is, however, not free.

Yes, the picture is from Gizmo. I don't think it is WM, but I thought perhaps someone could whip up this cab for MW. I did look into PCMkeyboard, and Resco. However, they are not like this at all.
You've checked all the skins? Even if they're not too similar, they're certainly nice enough. Personal preference, though. Maybe you could whip up this skin for us, then

This is interesting. I have not seen this keyboard.
Downloading it, and will test it out on my Touch. However, I will do more research and find a program that I could incorporate the keyboard layout like the one I posted.

Personally I can't recommend TouchPal highly enough. I guess if you are looking for a thumbpad style keyboard it won't work so well for you but it's the quickest and easiest way of getting typed data into a WM machine that I know of. And you can use it one handed. And you can 'train' it to predict all sorts of names, abbreviations, odd words, etc as you go along
I use touch pal .It was hard to get used to cause i like the full keyboard look. but once you get used to it, you can type pretty damn fast. but if the word isn't in it's library you have to spell the entire word by pushing the button then sliding left or right towards the letter on each button, then tell it to save the word. Still the best portrait mode keyboard imo.
I am sure that someone will be able to dump the ROM on the OP's original post. It is teh LG insight I think and just like they were able to rip out the today menu from the LG KS20, I am sure some amazing XDA member will do the same.
SPB Full Keyboard has been around a long time. Its not bad, it used to be one of the best, but I personally feel they now lag behind and there are much better virtual keyboards now. Plus SPB take up the ENTIRE screen, with a little view box.
PCM and TouchPAL are both great, I personally feel that TouchPAL is better. Either way, they are both free while SPB Full is not.
I was using TouchPal with my Atom Life and had been using it with my Touch Cruise, but I am actually liking the OEM keyboard that HTC has preinstalled on the Touch Cruise.

i've got a friend with an iphone, from what i remember it's pretty close if not spot on. i'll ask to see next time i see him
Would be nice if title states that the skins are for Resco KB pro which is not free.
Also the two skins mentioned so far appear to be fromt he same author, Kie, who is also the contest winner.
The skins look almost identical except the background is slightly different.
quick question: With resco KB Pro, if you type something that is on the bottom of a page, will the KB cover it up or will it automatically shift the page up so you can see what you are typing? If not, is there any KB that will do this (besides the Full Screen Keyboards out there).

I still prefer PCM Keyboard to Resco
PCM is free and I like how PCM allows you to put any pop-up keys from any main key.
The graphics on this resco skin are a little better than my iClone skin for PCM, due to how the skins are configured. Resco allows you to crate a background with the keys and then map the individual key identifiers. Much better than PCM, that you must create a left side, center and right side of the key to create one key.
With my layout you can easily get caps letters without the gesture (press and hold on a letter) and quick punctuation like ". " (period and a space) or .com from pressing and holding the space bar.
I have an iphone and have used it for almost a year and like my pcm skin better with the custom layout. Yes the keys are bigger on the iPhone, but the capacitive screen is almost too sensitive for typing.
Anyway to each their own. Try my skins and you may like PCM better.

uhm that's a keyboard, and it's definately not in the qwerty latout :S
TouchPal is hard to beat in my opinion: http://www.cootek.com/
if the keys in the right were in the bottom the remaining keys were more large!

You have the keyboard you want. The extra keys are a necessity!

Of course I know what QWERTY means. I also know how to use forums and read the original post...
If you did, you'd notice he wants a 3 button phone pad like the image in my first post but with the buttons stretching all the way to the right of the screen, so no more T9 button, no backspace, no next line and no options.
Wow.

First of all, I don't think the comment about QWERTY was adressed to you.
Second, if you look closely at the piture in post #1 and read the comment in post #9 carefully, you will notice that the threadstarter doesn't want the extra keys mentioned left out, but placed at the bottom row.
Third, I think this forum suffers from a too heavy amount of postings like yours and mine. In the future lets keep it constructive and friendly.
I think this thread is stupid (not necesserily the people involved) and should be locked. I don't see anything constructive coming out of it.
As for the original poster, search and somewhere in the wonderful world of WM, you may find what you need.

I think if you get 'crazy by anger' because your phone has a slightly different keypad layout from another phone then it's probably time to get yourself some anger management classes there as that's really not the kind of thing normal people get so het up about.
