If you're into ROM Cooking, within the shellres.96.dll, there is the file for the start menu icon...

Thank you guys for the amazing, but WA3 is buggy it froze my phone twice and i have quick menu and theres a lot conflict, sooo is there to just replace a file and restart method?

Yes, it is called the sytem tray.
Have a search for Traylaunch or BatteryStatus, both of these allow you to place links to programs in the tray. The tray is right alligned and only displays small icons.
Claunch is more tweakable but you may struggle to place it at the bottom of the screen without using other fixed height today plugins.

I tried the traylauncher of batterystatus, and it works well...
but is there the possibility to have the icon zoomed when it is selected?

read the the README.txt and u gonna know that all .cabs needs to be installed to work...
this app has been tested in smartphones....
just try and post what u think about...

Is it possible to make the task manager for the touch or similar phone look like this? Like creating a program which utilizes a SCREENCAPTURE app?
I mean, it doesn't need to be FULL screen, but when you hit the task manager in the top right corner, a large drop down menu with lil pics of your open apps to appear.... is this POSSIBLE?
If so, i know it'll use a bit of ram, but i have room to spare like 5-10mb on my touch for something like this...
What do you guys think?

For those of you like me who feel like an idiot for not being able to set up your ifonz theme then here you go. I literally figured this out like 10 minutes ago after searching FOREVER for help on the topic and being afraid to ask for help for fear of a tongue lashing (I didn't know Nick Burns was a regular on this site! Little SNL humor)
Themes in ifonz are really simple. They're not like any other themes we mess with like in weatherpanel, or the today screen. There is no cab file, no installer, just .png files.
All you have to do is:
1. download your theme/icon of choice from the net (do a search for ifonz screen and you'll see what i'm talking about - in Nick Burns style)
2. Copy it to wherever you want on your device or SD card
3. Forget about the Load Themes button in Ifonz!
4. Goto settings/background and then look for the background in .png you saved earlier and click "ok/save" whatever
5. Same goes for icons under the Icons tab in settings.
I know I'll catch a beating for posting this but it's so simple that it's hard as hell to do!
Hope this helps anybody as dumb as me out there!

You are looking for s2u2 (Slide to Unlock 2). You can download it here: http://s2u2.ac-s2.com/. Just download the QVGA version, unzip the ZIP file, and then move the CAB to your device and run it to install. Hope this helps.

I think the point is moot now. He has his answer and he knows that he should have searched.
why stock
You gotta trick out your phone now that you got it. It will take time to figure out. If ur using the std today screen you gotta start there. Try the new spb mobile shell 3 for free for 15 days then try some of the other themes out there. For S2U2 you need to be sure to get 2.04 cause the prior betas are buggy and will cause you fits. get s2p from A_C also it combines nicely with s2u2 and is a nice media player.

Just did a search for Startmenu and it was the 3rd one in Dev & hack. It is about as close as your gonna get to the 6.1 style for 6.5
You could try QuickMenu.
