As you know there is no live messenger in wm6 by mUn and I can not create an account for my inbox at [email protected] com. I tried to install wm5 msn messenger -- no luck, the same for live messenger, it simply does not install. afaik there is a problem with ssl in wm6 and this is why it's impossible to get it working. how can I resolve the issue?

My Qtek 9100 was shipped without Pocket MSN. I want to get it back. I've got msn files from Qtek 9090 upgraded to WM5 and I copied them to 9100 but MSN doesn't work. I guess something must be registered etc.
Does anyone know how get it back?

Yes, I have. There is no any MSN files in Windows folder, no MSN icons in Programs or Settings.
oh oki. try agile messenger i found that one better then microsoft's msn client becuase i don't use a hotmail mail on my msn so no use for the functions that i can use on microsoft msn on the wm5
I use Agile already. But I need MSN messenger, because it allows me to use Hotmail account in Pocket Outlook.

Went to Passport.Net and got a passport from microsoft with my own email address. Installed pocket msn went to activeate it on http:/mobile.msn.com and was told I could not use the passport I had and to go away and get another one it seems that the only passports you can use to buy and activate the program is an hotmail account. Anyone else had this problem.
Yes, the email address you use for a passport account for msnmobile must be a hotmail.com or msn.com account.
Stupid Microsoft
I ve been using MSN Messenger for ages with my own email address all my contacts have that address to use now if I want to use it now I have got to change my email address to a hotmail acc and I do not want one then I have to tell all my contacts the new address stupid

I have installed pocket MSN but not activated it. Then installed msn messenger 2002 for pocket pc and upgraded to 2003 have both options on m600 and they both seem to work now.
You have to upgrade to 2003 as 2002 will not work.
Dont know why orange removed it.
Will try to get the I-Mate firmware and see if I can load this on to it as that has pocket msn and no need to activate,
Hi all, i used on my SPV M3000 (QTEK9100) to lauch Hotmail and MSN Messenger on my today's page...
Now i cannot do the same with my SPV M600 and evenly cannot synchronise my hotmail box...
Do you have the same problem ?
If not, how do you manage to make it work ?

You have to go to the MSN portal (Windows Mobile Live) http://mobile.msn.com/?lc=en-us ; you sign in , and after from the same URL on your mobile, you have access on your MSN Hotmail , I use it every day .

1 Pocket MSN Messenger from microsoft and install but do not active
2 MSN Messenger 2002 and install (Will not work yet )
3 MSN Messenger 2003 Upgrade ( Should work now )
Must be done in this order or else does not work.

I was curious why this happens?
I tried setting up my hotmail account on my Trinity running WM6 and it doesn't work. When I install Pocket MSN WM5 version , once I sign into MSN I can get my hotmail now.
Is there a way I can set up my hotmail account without installing Pocket MSN?
I tried searching in the forum but could not find an answer to this.

Only 2 ways to directly access hotmail. One is with pocket msn & the other is with windows live mobile 10.6 (Not to be confused with windows live search)
