I can only get 243mhz stable. At 260mhz, it works for a while, but then the screen starts getting a little ... squiglly is the best way to put it I guess. At 273mhz, the screen is unusable.
Definitely will not try higher, but I've seen people on here with 299mhz!!
284mhz with my last wing, I haven't tested this one. With my ROM, I don't really need the extra clocks to run smoothly.
I use batterystatus and set the omap to 247 and then let cpuscaler do the rest when it is sitting idle or whatnot. Seems to work for me!

The screen makes this God-awful hissing whenever the speed drops below 188mhz.

The biggest thing with the inconsistency is the processors and roms, no processors are exactly the same, some heat up faster etc. and also the rom has a play in the speed factor with how fast it can go, if its processing too much at that speed it will heat up faster.

lol. It's ok, I change it every so often but usually only when I see a new vgcats that catches my eye.
Im working perfectly stable on 312MHz.
Sometimes it's a bit wierd but then CPUscaler helps me out

Never had any problems but now the summer is coming so im going back to 260.
Sun shining on the phone so i think that's helping it to get fryed.

I was just now messing with my phone and said well lets see if i can run 312 so i did. It worked pretty well until i opened up solitaire, and then the screen looked like it was vibrating lol... so i changed it back real quick, that and the temp went up to 99 degrees F. I was like WOAH!!!
Mine is at 247 w/ CPUscaler enabled. 260 and it gets jittery. Anything past that and it turns white and locks up.

anyways to the OP no current 2.1 is fully functional without issues. use a 1.5 if you want that, i recommend pancake without sense.
if you want a fully working 2.1 rom wait until the devs get their hands on the final build released from sprint hopefully this month?

Cool, thanks I am running fresh2.0d and I like this rom but the trackball light and the sound issue concerns me, because I dont know if it is fixed. I downloaded the fix but last night I got no sound again after I changed my autokiller setting,so I changed It back and it has been ringing all day, so I dont know if it is really fixed.....

Fresh 2.0d has lwp (they don't work in Sense, but that is a problem with Sense), it has the trackball fixed, though all the button lights have some weird glitch, you'd have to try it to see it, but at least the trackball is in sync with those buttons. It also has all the sound working as well. I highly recommend it. I've been using it since it came out and I'd say its 100% functional with virtually no issues.
On RegawMOD 2.0.2p, I have LWP running and sticking with the regular Home, not sense, but they do stick. you need the 2 apks for it though.

I don't think it is. People have gone 20+ hours just to have the problem happen again. the fix seems to stave it off temporarily but as I have found, it seems to come back sooner or later. Oddly enough, some people just don't seem to have the bug at all. It is an issue in the audio driver of the kernel though, it is there in everyones phone. Just haven't figured out what causes the bug to surface in some peoples phones but not others.
So is there a new update because I have fresh 2.0 and the trackball did work until I dounloaded the sound fix and the trackball light went away...
So it still has the 7 screens or is it the one screen?

My hero makes lots of sounds. LWP = Live Wallpaper
Every so often with 2.1 fresh my phone has no speaker sound in or out unlees you reboot the phone and lwp is live wallpapers.....
I have made a new boot animation for NRGZ28, it's still in its early stages, and can only hope I have time for more. I'm a huge fan with what he has done to my phone, and he has compelled me to give back to the community.
My goal here was simple. Sometimes I forget(as im sure some of you do to) what it was like owning a stock Rhodium, and i cant even remember what the GUI even looked like. NRGZ28's ROMS, although amazing, does not change dramatically enough for me to be mesmerized everytime i pick my phone up as it used to. Although I'm sure this wont entirely do it either, it will at least remind you of what you hold in your hand! Or something like that anyways, i was never really good at public speeches
This should work for any of his ROMS
P.S.~~if anyone could post some feedback on how far the animation goes on your devices that would be great! that means the leo, rhodium, Raphael... and any other devices that have a screen of that size, on both energyrom and stock roms.. or any roms for those devices. and if you know a way to change the length given for the animations let me know pronto!! I recieved a new warranty phone and the animation isnt playing the same length anymore. not sure if this is due to newer updated roms or the fact that the energyroms tp2 splash screen isnt on there anymore, just shows the ATT splash screen. thanks

Additional Notes:
1) At least on my Rhodium, the last second or 2 wont play. (the fade out) It will simply hang on the image for a few seconds. (which works just as good) The orginal was 14 seconds long and i had to speed it up as i am unaware of a way to customize the time wm gives for the boot animation. So if anyone knows of a registry setting or a program that will do this. let me know ASAP!
2) I will also work on getting a sound file for it as well if this becomes popular enough.
Install
1) Download .cab
2) Installs it directly to windows
3) It will ask you to restart
Uninstall
1) Go to settings->system->remove programs
2) Will automatically put back the default animation
Please be patient as doing 3d animations takes a long time, as well as tweaking issues just to have more arise. And don't even get me started on getting a decent gif animator, and then trying to get it to do what its designed to do

Hmm.. that sounds like a fantastic idea! so the problem is.. start up a new thread for more generic animations, or just change the name and make categories in this one?

Yes, this was my first concept design.. but depending on where the X goes, it might require that i make hands and wrist at least(which is a little bit of work ) unless it slashes with the blades coming through the background..i forget.
i don't know the legality of putting the original wolverine slash in there, (and wheres the fun in that? ) but i will see what i can do
If anyone knows of some good x slash video's, post them up! as i seem to be having a ridiculously hard time finding any. people need to make tags better! you would think there would be hundreds popping up! but no, with the game out all i find is gameplays for origins-wolverine

I went for 2 years. I got 2 weeks off for winter break, and 1 week off for summer break. if you want your summer off you can have them add another 3 months for each summer. thats just for the associates degree. its another year for the bachelor degree and that gets you ready for making video games.

I will work on it as soon as i get a chance. Hopefully tomorrow or the next day. I will also try and do this for every boot screen I make. There will of course be a few that are only for energyrom

I guess I will have to wait for Tonic. I was trying to make it myself, but I can't get it to actually play during startup. Does anyone know if there is an upper limit to the number of images the boot animation will support?
This video is 560 frames played at about 25 fps. I can try removing some of them that are nearly identical in the beginning to cut it down some, and maybe from other areas.

You can extract ANY rom and replace the boot animation files with these.
Re-zip the sucker and flash as normal.
The files are in \system\media as "bootanimation.zip" (surprise!)
Will give it a shoot and will let you know!

it is awesome!!! thanks for the suggestion on packing it in to the rom worked like a charm! i do agree i think it should be turned 90 degrees and blown up a little and should slow the animation down just a little bit! over all this is the sickest boot screen!

I've been working on just this, but for some reason it only plays 1/2 of it and then goes blank. Been really frustrating as I have been following Tonic's directions to the letter. Gonna start from scratch and see if I can get it.

ok guys need info. i rooted my evo and all was good!!! was out side talking and battery went dead plugged it in and screen would not come on after playing with it screen would come on vary light or with lines in it. battery said it was at full charge i left it over night and turned it on and worked but light screen and some line after about 5 min it stayed on. did a few bench mark test nothing showing up and i unrooted last night blind i could not see screen but hopped it worked lol i got it right
So what is it that you're looking for ? You're grammar is so terrible that I'm sure I'm not the only one who has no idea what you're asking. We need more information to be able to help you. Like what rom you were on? Were you using a kernel? Most importantly though, what it is that you're trying to accomplish.

It could be an overheating issue or a man. defect. Is it still doing this on the stock rom ?
yeah but i cant get it to do it on que i have a e ticket for sprint but if i cant make it do it they wont fix it
Well, do you have TEP? If they won't fix it then that's going to be your best bet. Right now Sprint is letting anybody enroll. I don't know if that's a permanent thing or if it's just temporary. It's $8 a month for TEP. It's only like $100 to get a replacement and it will be much quicker than fighting with Sprint to get them to fix it. If it's a spotty problem you'll be fighting for a while.

He knew I didn't mean it in an insulting way. I don't believe that this contributes to anything. So why don't you keep your mouth shut unless you're trying to help.
Shot in the dark but sometimes leaveing the battery out for extended periods of time resets/changes behavior I would try leaving it out for full day and seeing what happens maybe you will get it to do lines or somethin worth a shot before ya give em money
