Clock settings SnapVue - Shift General

In Vista, did anyone find the spot yet to change the clock settings for SnapVue from 12h to 24h? SnapVue relies on Vista to adjust the clock, and I have not found any way to adjust to 24h settings just yet.

from vista go Control Panel> clock,Language ,and Region>Regional and language Option than hit customize this format ,go to time than time format and change it to any thing without the last tt...............you will have clock now in 24 format

Thanks, but I have done that already. My machine is set to HH:mm:ss, and Vista properly shows the 24h format. It's SnapVue that does not follow suit.

Search for these 2 files "HH_HOME_pm.png" and "HH_HOME_pm.png" in your Windows directory you must have those to display "am" & "pm". Or use the Home Customizer to pick a clock color of your choice to restore alll files required for the clock.

i will go with JR_de. go to regional settings>Time and select Time Style. You may need to use the hardware buttons to adjust the settings(I had to do so on my TyTN II)..i believe the settings should show h:mm:ss tt..
clock
The AM/PM should be built-in with almost all Home graphic sets.
The clock icon means that there is an alarm set....
I sloved this problem on my Kaiser. I had setted up English (Ireland) regional settings. English (ireland) has not 'hh:mm:ss tt' time format so i changed it on registry and it is worked but no in HTC Home. Someone who have this problem can try this:
Go to regional settings and set up English UK option. Now go to the time tab and and set up hh:mm:ss tt time format. Now go to the first tab and change to English (Ireland) back. For it is working. Sorry for my english. Best regards and thanks for any help.
thanks a lot art12345
With your last indications I have been able to get it!!!
even for spanish option
again, thanks for your help
I am happy that it is working on your Kaiser too. You are welcome. Best regards.

Playing wiht the registry I found the key HLM->System->GDI->Rotation which has a HideOrientationUI attribute. Set it to 0 and the standard screen rotation option will appear in the control panel

It gives you an extra option in Control Panel that lets you select if the display is Landscape or Portrait.

You can use Gyrator or GSen to do that
Yes, this is not automatic it just re-enable the standard screen panel to manually select orientation.

please advise, how, would love to be able to work on documents etc in landscape (auto switch) mode if possible.
Peter.
As apd said for the automatic rotation you can use Gyrator or GSen. Otherwise with this you can start your app and then manually rotate the screen from the control panel.
just tried this and it says "access denied" when i edit the value data and change the 1 to 0
am i missing something?
Steve
used resco regedit ... works!
wow. This is really nice. Thanks! now I don't need the gyrator!
I can find nothing new after manipulating the registry.
Where can i exactly find the option in control panel?
In the Screen menu. If you still can't see the option, try a soft reset.
excellent find. thnx for sharing!
any program to change that or a cab file ??
thanks
Ill try this on the diamond to see if it works.
I wish I could try it with the demo phone @ the store (touch HD) before buying it.
I tried the registry edit on the demo Touch HD at the store.
The problem is that it keeps reverting back to portrait mode after accessing the phone menu.
So it will remain perfectly in landscape mode till I try to enter a phone number.
The phone menu is vertical, then it remains vertical.
Any info?
thanks.

Clock changes time

Hmmm I don't knoe how to explain that (lack of words)
Sometimes when I check the time clock shows me proper time. A while later it showes that is for example 3 hours later It looks like clock changes the time by itself and without any reason.
Any1 noticed something like that ? It;s really annoying
I had the same problem. I have dutch language selected, but it should be something like this:
In Settings -> Phone -> Timezones unselect 'Change timezone and clock automatically'. I synchronize the clock on my phone using activesync.
Changed.
I will observe and let You know Thx

It started happening recently and I can't find why. I will try your solution now.
I woke up in the morningn. The clock was 9:00 am , I sent a sms to a contact (using normal application) and then when I return to TF3D the clock was showing 18:00 !!!!
The only modification I do recently was setting Activesync to not start automatically . Have you played with that setting too?

Hi there .
Navigation Ba is not Icons to be edited . As far as I know there are some Segoe UI fonts in Windows Phone .These fonts contains many many glyphs (like Icons) . So you can edit these glyphs using font edit applications but it will apply everywhere in applications and OS so it may cause UI design conflicts .
If you lose your USB connection it's easy to resolve :
HKLM\Somftware\Microsoft\MTP\DataStore
Change it to : C:\Data\Users\Public
that's it
after changing this value you may need to reboot 2 or 3 times to be able to connect your phone
