I don't think tomtom is supported in India. Googlle and nobody can find it. Sorry

Well Tom tom does not work in Gene which does not have aGPS . Please log your comments in the respective forums .

im using Tomtom6 with i-Trek M6 GPS receiver on my MDA and it works great pick up satellite well... bought it at semsons.com great store fast shipping based on me and my friends exp. (mods sorry for advertsing this site)
I use Garmin Mobile 10X GPS with Garmin mobile XT software. It works great with a ton of options.
does any1 have us map for tomtom v6 or whatever, i cant find us map whatsoever always UK, or WE,,..pain in the butt..thx

Do you know how to use torrent. If you do then just to the www.isohunt.com or www.mininova.org and download a whole package including Tomtom 6 and maps (North America&EU) If you don't then do some research on your own because English is not my first language so it is hard to explain how to use torrent to you. I hope this help
getting it now, but maps will work with any tomtom version right?

I haven't test the V6.xx map on a Tomtom V 5.xxx but I think it doesn't work. The latest map and software that I could find at this moment which is v6.75
Have you try torrent yet?
v6.5x maps will work with tomtom 5 & 6
v6.6x Maps and above only work with tomtom v6

Hi, I am looking for India maps for Tom Tom Navigator. Please help

I'm using Garming XT as it is the only GPS soft I've find that I can upload my country's maps to (Argentina). The thing is that I'm unable to use the trinity build-in GPS because the soft tries to look for a Garmin device via bluetooth.
Can anyone help me by telling me if it possible to use the trinity's GPS or if there is any other soft that would be able to use the same map files as garmin does?

Try using 4.10.40 version,it has abiliti to use the in-built GPS device.Works perfect on my Trinity

The version I'm using is 4.10.40wp is it the same that you have Deki?
Yes.Go to Settings/System/Remote GPS/Disable and then put the tab on COM9.Click on enable and wait
Which tab? there's none, after I set the remote GPS on disable the soft says that I'm not allowed to connect with a Garmin GPS. Any ideas?

you can download the Garmin you can go to http://www8.garmin.com/support/download.jsp
or you can try mobiumgps 2.0.232
i also have a simmilar problem whit gps . i have installed igo and it does not connect to gps receiver . it searces few minutes and then it says that it does not find it . what might be the problem ? i have wm 6.1 proffesional

Tom Tom Navigator can only be found on their official website dude !

As far as i recall TomTom 8.xxx is just for PNA devices, for PDA is 7.xxx

PNA = Personal Navigation Assistant
PNA = Personal Digital Assistant
I am using Footprints QVGA with Tom Tom Navigator 7.
Does anybody know if there is any registry tweak or file to make Footprints use Tom tom instead of Google maps??
i can take pics with footprints and it shows the coordinates or whatever, but when i push the button to find it in map, it opens google maps instead of Tom Tom.
any help will be very appreciated.
