Music in vibrate mode - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

Hi
I'm new here, sorry for my English
I want play music (mp3) by headphones when only vibrate is turn off, sounds are disabled - it's possible ? or maybe is any patch which enable sounds when I connect headphones and after disconnect - disable sounds?
Thanks for help.
Greetings

I hav ethe same issue and would love a solution. I never take my phone out of vibrate but would also like to watch movies and listen to music, both using headphones as well as the built in speaker.

Try to go to Start -> Settings -> Notifications -> Notification tab, from the drop down menu select "Phone: incoming connection" and from the drop down list "ring type" select "Vibration".
(I hope you find right option, because I have Polish WM6, and I've been translating "on-the-fly")

I've write little application which set normal sounds when we connect headphones and set vibra after disconnect. I've use one tool from SmartTools and little app in c#

MenuPop.wav removal? How to?

I bet I'm not the only one that finds the Menupop sound VERY annoying, specially in a crowded area. You need to do something on the XDA and you click the start button (CLICK!) and the crowd goes silent for a sec and turns to you, wondering wth is going on.
So, anyway of turning this sound off? renaming or deleting MenuPop.wav doesn't work. For some odd reason Microsoft has made this sound "an integral part of the pocket pc operating system".
you can disable this by pressing "settings" -> "sounds and notifications" -> then uncheck the box of "events" from the enable sounds for"...right?
What else does this turn off? It seems to turn off a lot of sounds, and not only the click and pop sounds.
Thanks though.
from what i remember it turns of the menu sounds, the clicking sounds when you press an app and other related items. it doesn't turn off the alarms, sms notifications, calendar / task notices, etc.

Default Tapping Sound

I can´t get away the tapping sound on my device. How can I do this?
For example, every time I tap the Windows Today button, I can listen to the default sound.
I am tired of this so please somebody can help me?
other problem, while I am listening to music through my Windows Media Player, and I tap the Windows Today button that sound keeps coming. I can´t believe it.
please help.
thanks 4 your time

Start => Settings => Sounds => Events
Toggle off (uncheck) the "Events (warnings, system events)" checkbox in the Sounds & Notifications panel, and it will turn off the chirp when you tap the Start menu, etc.
I don't know for what other "events" you will no longer get a sound, but this was driving me nuts as well.
Thanks, I did that and finally it was easier that I thought.
Now I am wondering what other warnings I have sutten down.
Does anyone knows if there is something important that will not sound now?
thanks 4 your help

I did the same yesterday - and so far all my other warning/notifications have sounded ok.... fingers crossed we haven't turned off anything vitally important!

A way to have alarm sound when on silent/vibrate?

Maybe there is a way to do this, but I'm not aware - does anyone know of a way to enable alarm even when teh phoen is on vibrate or on silent? (this came to me because I set the phone to silent and forgot to turn I was late for work today)
enAlarmPPC
When you mean an application for alarms, then you should really take a look at enAlarmPPC. You can simply force a volume, and it will play sound even if in "vibrate" or "mute".
awesome... I think that's exactly what I need. Thanks
i use vibrate mode all the time, but don't like the fact that it silences your phone. But this is what i have found:
Instead of going into vibrate mode through comm manager or through a "profile" (like from the HTC Touch Today plugin), go to settings and then select Sounds and Notifications. Select Notification tab, and from the drop down menu select Phone: Incoming call and select vibrate. When you do this, your phone vibrate when there is an incoming call but is not silenced for other functions of the phone like alarms, music, etc.
Disadvantage is that it is not 1 simple step, so if you back and forth between ring and vibrate it is not ideal, but if you set it on vibrate all the time like me, it is ideal.

You could probably Mortscript it...
yea, the thing is I always change to vibrate when I'm at work/quiet areas and I'd liek to have a simple profile change button that changes it to a vibrate + ringer.

Give PhoneAlarm a try! Then you can create profiles.
I agree, PhonaAlarm solves it all!!

Are these options even availble?

Well I took the phone out of the house for the first time today. And all I can say it, how annoying it was being.
Is there anyway to stop the phone going of everytime is switching services (3G, HSDPA, GPRS etc) Everytime that stopped, swapped or got activated my phone went off. I was constantly checkingn it thinking I had mail or sms's, it was driving me mad
How can I get my phone to vibrate while on loud? Even though its on loud, its quite hard to hear when your out. But then if I put it on vibrate and I go inside, sometimes I dont feel it go off while walking or sitting down.
Any solutions?
Oh, and how do I set .mp3's as ringtones/alarm tones/sms tones etc. Can I only use the ones in the list?
The "Search" button is your best friend in here...why don't you give it a try first
Yeh I just get loads of random results for other phones.
I tried a few things but they didnt work
Edit: repeat post
I know this isn't much help but on my stock rom I managed to turn these off, it wasn't anything special it was in a menu somewhere, where I could stop it notifying me, so it is possible. Im afraid im no longer using that rom so I cannot check, the one im on at the moment has them off as default it seems.
Took me about 5 minutes to find the menus on my X1 (first WM phone I've owned) for all the problems you have listed. I suggest you either do a search or play around in the Settings.
Maybe the original poster is having difficulty 'cos they are looking for options not settings...
first thing I do when I get a new machine is RTFM no matter what it is (usually while I'm waiting charge, but not needed with the LiPo here) then start experimenting with menus. It's not hard...
There's an online help system here. http://devicehelp.vodafone.co.uk/GettingStarted.php?ModelID=344&e=0 I suggest you read it
What do you mean by "turning the phone off" what's happening ?
is the screen just going blank, (it does this or new users would be screaming about the poor battery life)
Is the entire unit shutting itself down?
Is the phone part (this is not a phone it's a pocket pc, the phone is only a part of it) turning itself off?
Maybe that's the problem, this is a very advanced device, people seem to be ignoring this..

Select Start => Settings => Select "Connections" tab => Select "Advanced Network" => From the drop down menu select "Disable".
I don't know if this solution would work for you because I haven't encountered the same problem that you have.

Ringtones: Just select the file you want as your ringtone and hold down until the menu comes down and from the bottom of the menu, just select "Set As Ringtone".
Alarm tones & SMS tones: Files must be in .wav format and save them into your Windows folder. Once that is done, your tones should be available from the drop down list of tones.
Hey Guys, thanks for the solutions.
However none of tem were what I was after. I dont explain myself very well.
When I say, the phone goes off when switching between 3G, HSDPA etc i mean it either vibrates of beeps depending on which mode its on.
As for the vibrating while on loud. I have it on vibrate and ring which it does, but when I recieve an SMS it just beeps when on Loud. I would like it to vibrate too like it did on my old SE

I'm looking for an option to let the phone vibrate in small intervals and not one long everlasting vibration.
In the sound/notifications tab you can only select "vibration" and not the style of the vibration.
Am I missing something or does someone know an addon?

Search for VAlert, it allows incoming calls to "pulse" (and you can define the pattern).

Audio problems on Ticwach E

I have a problem with the audio of my Tichwatch E.
The watch is updated to Android Oreo.
The problem is that when I receive a notification, there is no sound but only the vibration.
Also there are no sounds even when I try to change the ringtone in the settings (ie, when I click on a ringtone, it does not play).
In the same way I do not receive any sound even from alarms.
The sound is activated, the volume is at maximum and the do not disturb mode (DND) is disabled.
What can I do?
Thank you,
Android Wear has no audio sound
You can use app like "Feel the Wear" to add sound.
Wear has sound for Alarm and Timer but you must setup the sound volume for this in the settings. By defaut it is set to only vibe.

hi, thanks,
but I don't have any sound in alarm and timer (even if in the settings all the volumes are at maximum).
I installed "feal the wear" but it does not seem to work ... I only get the vibration, even though I set the sound from the application.
I solved the problem by setting the language of the Italian vocal output to English.
So the ringtones working (with the app feel the wear) and also the voice output of assistant (in Italian!)
the only thing, do you know how to make feel the wear only play the smartwatch when connected to the phone? otherwise when disconnected make the phone ring?

It is only a notification system for the watch. Otherwise your notification phone works always on your phone, with or without have a watch, so your phone ring.
