I just called my local radio shack to see how many pre orders they got (did mine the first day), and they told me they where going to have it two days early. Anybody else hearing this?

Did they say they would give it to you 2 days early or they expect it to be received by the store on June 2nd?
I also pre-ordered mine from Radio Shack!

I asked if I would be getting a call to come in or if I should just show up. He replied after, consulting someone with him, that I will be getting a call but I could just come in on the 2nd because they where getting it 2 days early.
pre-ordered mine last week... didn't hear anything about 2-days early launch, only that i have up to 2 days AFTER june 4th to pick it up
I'm not really believing it myself unless others check there local stores and start hearing the same thing. Just thought I would throw it out there.
They aren't going to sell you the phone two days before they're supposed to. If they did, they'd be in big trouble with Sprint. Just because they have it two days early doesn't mean they can sell it two days early.

Agreed, just wishful thinking that Radio Shack might be having an early release and hoping for some confirmation.
Ok I am well and truly confused and I HOPE someone on here can help me.
I am looking to buy the HTC Desire HD on pay and go/Sim free/Unlocked and have been looking around te internet and ringing my local stores asking about them and this is what I got from them.
Play.com said they will be dispatching 19th and now has changed to the 25th.
Amazon is mid November, which is to far away.
I rang my local phones4u and they said it wont be out on pay and go and tried to sell me a contract. (today the 19th)
I rang up my local Carphonewarehouse 2 different stores, one said yesterday HTC haven't announced the release date yet, the second said they will get it on contract within 1-2 weeks, no idea about sim free.
I rang up HTC thinking I will defo get a answer from them, they said it was spose to be out last week but has been delayed and one of there main retailers will have it in 4 days, but never told me what one, and they told me to ask my local retailers. That didnt help
I posted on there official HTC UK facebook group and got some kid saying he got his yesterday from phone4u for £450 yesterday (18th).
Does anyone know a shop in the Bristol area that is selling this phone pay and go/sim free/unlocked now? or soon?
Reason for needing it quick my iPhone 4 is currently on ebay and ending soon, and I will be without a phone.
Hope someone can help, sorry for such a long thread.

I had a feeling a week or so a go that was going to happen. Thats why I gave up also. Hate it for everyone

No message, ordered the 2nd, and have a "Delivery Date" of 12/26
I think they knew they had a problem then. As in the one day it went from being shipped the 14/15th on the 1st to 26th on Dec 2nd.

In that post he talks as if they have been delivering units to customers already.. I would guess by the forums that no one has gotten a shipping notification much less received a unit yet. The way this is spun they are trying to make the public think that there was just such a huge demand that they could not keep up.
I wish they could get their story straight and just let everyone know what is going on. I am still waiting on a replacement as well from my November 8th purchase at the Microsoft store.
I think that per your estimated delivey time and shipping time the system will only send the delay message once the estimated delivery time cannot be reached.
This is why people with end of dec. delivery time are not delayed.... YET.
I had a delivery estimate for today and I got the e-mail yesterday saying that my order has been delayed until January 6th.
Wow, Dell is even throwing in Blue tooth headsets for those who havent heard and some people people are even getting thier DVP's shipped this week!

Samsung distibution has confimed delays on the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note White
The date has been removed and we are awaiting further info
This week we have received further shipments for the blue version
Would there be any issues with buying a white galaxy note from ebay or simplyelectronics as i'm getting bored of waiting now.
Will it have a foriegn firmware on it and suffer from having problems when upgrading the firmware? or is it simply the fact that it may come with a non european charger.

Super annoyed with Handtec. From what I hear they have great customer service, and so far I haven't heard any bad things from anyone about handtec. But my experience has been this:
- Show "Due in soon. Taking pre-orders." for a month even though it isn't "Due in soon."
- Post that the shipment is due in on the week of the 21st. (Suspiciously gaining pre-orders directly before black-friday), then don't actually get it in.
- When people ask for updates on the blog post, they have never responded. Wow, thanks a lot.
- When asked on Twitter, they responded that it will be in later.
- Even after all this, they still have "Due in soon. Taking pre-orders." and they haven't updated the blog post, nor tweeted anything publicly to help people.
- Interesting how they will most likely just end up getting it in sometime in December. When the rumored release will be.
So glad they're taking pre-orders. Thanks a lot handtec.

I trying to decide if I want to order the blue one now, wait till at least Dec 15th, or pay the extra 200 bucks for one on eBay...white is nice, but not worth 200 extra bucks!!!

The first person I seen on any website said they bought there's from Bestbuy so that not the problem really I think it's no infrastructure to push to many people at once.

Bought mine as a refurb from BestBuy about 7 months ago and got the update about a week ago. On AT&T.
One received one didn't
My wife got update a couple of weeks ago on hers. I am still waiting.

I think they might have stopped it I don't c anyone saying recently that they received it seems like all companies r having problems Samsung,one plus.
Bought mine (unlocked L29) from Best Buy 10 months ago, yet, no Oreo update for me.
Bought mine at BB last fall. Received my 8.0 update. last night.
