interesting going to first upgrade to the WWE wm6 new htc polaris rom posted here and then going to upgrade to wm6.1 hoop that WM6.1 is little faster then WM6 !!!
one more question how is the srolling function doing because polaris has a different driver so one might think about the function and the overall stability and the speed it will get !!

For extreme speed we have to wait for Master Bepe !
Actually, this early version it seems more spicy than wm6...
Using this rom I sometimes cannot hear the person when I receive a call. This problem I did not have on the normal rom. The sound fades away

Sound is locked to Ding.amr, you can not change it (only via registry).
Is for testing purposes.
Wait until 19199 build is out, so you can change this...

Everything is running perfect. Much quicker than original HTC rom
but,
Anyone else having bluetooth problems when pairing with car kits / hands free?
The pairing keeps dropping and needs reconnecting.
overall speed is good better then wm6 and also a few bugs but easy to unbug them. When going to settings and then memory there is no option of Running programs ??? can be solved buy transfering the memory.exe from a wm6 device so if someone can post the memory.exe from /windows folder of there wm6 ROM please do it i need it !!
its fast but can also be made faster, the network connection (wireless) is fast copying files from pc to PPC and vice versa throw wireless connection is much faster with WM6.1, so waiting for a nother test version of this WM6.1 !!

Cool, but I would really like seeing it without both the TomTom's
and also Skyfire (and Opera), so one could install whatever
likes by cab. Opera and also TomTom 6, 7 and Skyfire is
available as cabs and you would not waste space when
overwriting old versions with updates. I for myself prefer
IGO8 before TomTom and I would really hate wasting 12-16 (?) MB
space for unused TomTom versions. You could maybe create
a basic and premium version of your rom with and without those
apps. This would be very nice, indeed!!
Btw, were you able to dump R0 with all dsm/rgus you need?

Just one question - how does the Skyfire application work? Currently the client is only supported in the USA, is there an workaround existing?

I will make 2 Editions of the ROM, the one will be clean ROM, without useless STUFF. Just the R0 in GERMAN. with critical Bugfixes !! Additional Software can be installed with a cab. will post them, too.
The second one will be with additional Features like TT & IGO, Skyfire etc.
Skyfire works in USA normally, youre Right, but its cracked Version, Have edit some Programm Files and get it to work on Polaris in Europe with all Functions !!
I have dumped it with all dsm - nothing changed so far..... Had no Problems

udK say that he will release it on Thursday or Friday, he dont Released, but it wont take more than 3-4 Days i think, so just sit back and Relax, the R1 will be released by udk and that is the r0 with FIXED BUGS its in WWE (English)

Very Fast Rom with a LOT of applications.
I have an HTC Touch Cruise ...
I put the MURATA Polaris Radio v1.58.21.23, Nav-N-Go v8.3.2.64873.
Signal, Bluetooth, WiFi ... Everything is working FINE. Tested with Nav-N-Go ... very fast. 3G and Video calling works FINE too.
The only bug i found is that you can unlock the phone with any key (Not ONLY the Power button). If someone knows a solution please give a hint.
I think is the best ROM so far.

There appear to be 2 Polaris versions Polaris-100 & newer Polaris 200 which is why I asked. I was [and still am] worried as it doesn't specify which version ROM will work with. I am newish to this but have successfully flashed ROMs before.

Doesn't play videos. I get a black screen. I am using radio 1.64.
I initially had the no camera problem too, but 1.64 fixed that.

Nice build again, TranMinhMan makes a very good job I will try it later
I tried it... Nice, fast but with some bugs:
-backlight setting doesnt work
-push mail doesnt work correctly - if phone sleep mail not "pushed"
-alarm doesnt work
I think there is a problem if phone "sleeps", the same problem i have with pcarvalhos ROM...
Don't like the mixture of dark brown mega buttons with black M2D theme.
Love the free RAM and features though.

actually after some testing... it's one of the fastest ROM have tried... the Pushmail and Alarm doesn't bother me as I'm not using them... bu the MEGA Camera zooming is a real BUG for me...

i dont know how but alarm worked for me. just tried it out and it worked fine, but dont know about push mail cuz thats the thing i never use.
but i have another problem like surfing in the start menu is kinda sticky or freezy, but everything else seems to work fine.
also installing pcarvalho's ezinput 2.1 on this rom, i had to hard reset my device. maybe someone knows why TranMinhMan doesnt use ezinput, cuz i really like this ezinput.
nice rom, but unfortunatelly after installing my favorite Keyboard+ (en-ru-ua keyboard) device stop load after SR just hard reset helps.

Another question.. Is this rom English only? I have read the rom 1.61 is TUR/WWE, and you need to choose either after hard reset. I want only English.

No just once. But if you flash a stock ROM via the SD card method it will be erased by the stock SPL.

Is there any difference between this ROM with the original stock WM 6.1 in my Touch HD (Blackstone)?
I still use WM 6.1 in my Touch HD, it still works great but lacks of feature of WM 6.5
Anyway, I really appreciate and thanks for your works

When he gets the issues sorted you will be able to have os 6.1 with the latest features for the HD2 a really good combination in my view
It´s fun and great to see that the development for HD2 did not come to an end yet. Even WinMo 6.1 is now here. Maybe it will come with Sense 2.1 at the end...

I remeber TouchFlo 2D. I liked it some years ago and it fits perfectly to WM 6.1. Is it an option to include it? With the power of the HD2 it would run fast like hell compared to my good old Kaiser

TouchFlo3D what was on TP2 (Rhodium) would be good, it would help control outside the house , I tried your ROM on my HD2 is a super fast ... I myself added the "HTC Connection Setup" might help to add to through the kitchen, I had a problem with the camera and the camera but it was probably my fault

No success with building working TF3D without breaking Leo's HTC packages..by now.

I'm testing a new version now with TF3D, mostly based on Rhodium packages.
But still can't get TF3D working..So, it will be TF3D version if I can fix it.
