Jawbone and the Tilt - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Accessories

I am thinking about purchasing the Jawbone headset. Please post your thoughts on your usage of Jawbone and the ATT Tilt.

You might want to go to the tilt (aka Kaiser) accessory forums.

This is the best headset I had so far. I've owned 3 different Motorola units, H700, HS850, HS810, and Jabra bt250. It has the best fit. Snug and comfortable. Hearing quality has been as well. Same quality pertains to the party on the other line. Buddy of mine purchased on a few weeks ago. Agrees this has been the best one so far.
Hope it helps.

Motorola s9 Earbuds

I lost 1 of the bigger earbuds to the s9. So i was wondering if anyone new or had a link that sells accessories for this headset. Thanks in advance.
These seem pricey but it's free shipping and you get 2 pair instead of 1.

Hi Seidio, its me again. Any news on the Tilt car kit? Been 2 months now.

I bought your car kit from TiltDepot who claimed it was for the tilt but it was for the mogul. It works okay, but the tilt doesn't fit well and has a few other issues. I'm going to be sending it back because I have to finagle the tilt to get it to line up with the port and it has some audio out issues. Anyway, PLEASE, when is this going to be released for the Tilt???
Thanks!

I think the best car kit is Brodit from proclip. I just bought one and it fit my Kaiser perfectly
Does it charge the tilt and have an audio out?
Alan
They do have it but it cost more, for me I used a car charger that connect into the cigg lighter. You can go to here http://www.proclipusa.com/

Charge - Yes
Audio out - No
This applies to both the cigarette lighter and hard-wire versions.
Anyone hear any news on this? I had a seidio mount for my old X3i and Wizard, and am waiting patiently (sorta) for the Tilt variety that was promised to the community 6 months ago...

Not a word. I noticed they even took away the category of Car Kits (which has always been empty) from the Tilt accessories page.
Man I wish they would release this thing!

ExtUSB Audio Adapter Analysis

Before someone tells me to search again, please read my whole post: I don't think there's a conclusive analysis.
I love my FUZE, and while I don't own an iPhone headset, I have occasionally used my mom's iPhone headset with the HTC dongle that comes with the Fuze.
Also, over the summer, I bought some great replacement Sennheiser earbuds that are designed to work with the iPhone. (They're 3.5 mm tri-ring so they work with any 3.5 mm stereo out device)
Now that I chose the FUZE, I want the Mic from my iPhone and Sennheiser iPhone headsets to work with the FUZE. But, I don't want to use the clunky adapter.
I know Brando and Expansys have adapters available, but can anyone confirm that they work with the Mic on stereo headsets? Thy must be tri-ring (some people call this tri-pole, but I think that's less easy to understand) and it's difficult to confirm with people that such setups are working.
Also, I was wondering if there's a good adapter for mono 2.5 mm wired headsets.
Update
I've scoured the city and the only 3.5 mm headphone adapter is the one that came with the AT&T Fuze. I tried AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile stores, since all 4 carriers sell HTC devices and should conceivably carry an adapter.
I've bought one online in the meantime, but I spoke to a guy who owned his own cell phone shop and had my phone. He said NONE of the adapters work with the iPhone stereo headset!
Someone should make one, or post a simple guide on how to mod one.
I will note that a Verizon guy was nice enough to give me a 2.5 mm headset/USB combo dongle, but this too is kind of ghetto! Another Verizon guy said he had an extra HTC headset at home that he could give me, and the guy who owned his own shop said he could sell me the HTC headset.
As it stands, if I want to use my own headset I have to use either a Y-dongle or a brick-dongle! Not cool....

I can confirm the following does *not* work with iPhone-designed headphones with mic:

I too would like to use an extUSB to 3.5mm adapter with a headset with mic, rather than an adapter with a mic and having to search for a headphone with short cords. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have a T-Mobile G1 with the extUSB connector and I'm also looking for an adapter that allows me to connect iPhone/BlackBerry-style headsets with 3.5mm tri-ring (also called TRRS) connectors. This thread is the only one I could found on the Internet that talks about such a thing. Every extUSB to 3.5mm adapter I could found either lacks microphone support with only a 2-ring connector, or has a microphone built-in but still only has a 2-ring connector. It's been almost a year since this thread was started, but has there been any luck by anyone out there of finding such an adapter? I really don't have the skills to solder my own.
Did anybody try the extUSB with built-in microphone? I would like to be able to use it with some headset I own.
But... Is the microphone so crapy as I think?
Have you tried DIY? Here are some info for the pinout here, here, here.
Another one here
Here is JUST the 3.5mm adapter, haven't used it, but they say it's spose to work.

Motorola vs Jabra bluetooth speakerphones?

I am looking at both the Motorola T505 and Jabra sp700 for use in my car that lacks an aux port and cassette player. Both offer the same specs with a built-in fm transmitter, but I'm curious which brand will work best with our picky heroes.
Thoughts?
Jabra ($49.99)
Motorola ($54.99)
I have the T505 and LOVE IT! Never tried the Jabra.
I'm with Raz. My T505 cost me 42.00 on newegg (maybe on sale?) and it was the best money I ever spent.
Thanks guys, motorola it is...two reviews I can trust

Plantronics M20 Bluetooth Headset - Great Product, Cheap Price. However....

Been planning to buy this from Amazon. It fits just in my budget. The reviews are great too. Only thing that is bothering me is the 'Non-Retail Packaging". What does it mean? Is it a re-furb product? or the bluetooth headset will come in a shopping bag without charger and stuff? :s

It probably just means it won't come in the pretty clear box that is so fun to open which they hang on shelves for people to drool over. I'm sure it will come with all the normal accessories.
If you really want a good headset check out the Jaybird Gear Bluebuds X, they are what I use. I had a plantronics BB903+ and had to warranty it 3 times, it wasn't as good as advertised. Primarily the bluetooth would cut in and out while I was jogging around the neighborhood with my phone strapped to my arm just a foot away from my headset.
Good luck
OEM boxes do not mean refurbished goods, they just mean that you didn't pay more for a nicely designed box (that you'll probably throw away).
Amazon and hardware providers love stocking OEM goods.
Back when I used to run a repair shop, we preferred OEM boxes
