DOS emulator for Windows Mobile? - Touch CDMA General

Hi everyone,
Is there anyway to run DOS applications on a Windows Mobile device? I would love to get my vintage copy of WordPerfect 5.1 running on my Touch. Why?!?! No real reason except I would get a kick out of it

[Question] 6.5 CHome/Titanium in Windows Mobile Emulator?

Hey,
Is there any way of getting the CHome/Titanium (home widget) from windows Mobile 6.5 on Windows Mobile Device Emulator? Is there a cab or something?
I tried creating a Windows Mobile 6.5 Image for the Device Emulator using SamuelTee's samWMEmuKitchen but kept getting all sorts of errors ...
Any ideas?
I don't think so. However, Windows Mobile 6.5 is supposed to be officially released on May 11th, and msmobiles.com (great windows mobile news site, reliable too) seems to think that means device emulators running 6.5 on May 11th. It's not that long of a wait, but if you can get 6.5 running in an emulator yourself, more power to you.

Possible PLAYSTATION emulator?

i found this site by pure luck... they programmed this to run on Pocket PCs with at least windows mobile 2003. i tried to install it on my shadow (2007) and its not supported (go figure).
My question is to those of you who know or are programmers and hackers... people have gotten Doom and Duke Nuke'em to run on our little Shadows.... is it possible to hack this thing to do run on our phones?
here's the download site:

VirtualWM

Hi All,
I have been looking for an application for Windows Mobile like we have for our PC's/Laptops. I am talking about a software like VirtualPC (VPC), VirtualBox (VBOX) and VMware (VirtualMachine).
If there is a VirtualWM (VWM) so we can run any ROM we desire on our phones ie on the HTC Touch HD.
On my PC I am using Windows Vista but in that Vista I am running Windows XP (another operating system, it is a virtual computer that looks and acts like the real thing).
With VWM, we could run multiple ROMS etc!
Has anyone thought of this or found any applications like that?
This is a video on VBOX for those who don't know what a Virtual Machine is

There is a thread here in XDA about running custom roms in Emulator but it only could run modified MS deafult image if I am right.

[Q] Can I side load Windows Phone apps into Metro?

Hi guys, I was thinking as to how to exploit Windows Metro decently: I really like the concept, but I find myself never using it. If I want to use a multiaccount chat program, I need to use something like Digsby on Desktop. I think it's a suboptimal use of Windows 8. I'd like to use a multiplatform chat program, like those found on our smartphones (Imo, eBuddy, and such) from the Metro and, for once, forget about Desktop: is it possible? Can I sideload Windows Phone 7.5 and Windows Phone 8 apps into Windows 8 metro?
I think it's really bad to not be able to use stuff like Whatsapp, given I have a tablet interface around which Windows 8 has been used.
Same thing, regarding Xbox Live Arcade games: why cannot I play them in Windows 8 yet? Why can't I play something like Fez, or Sine Mora, inside Windows 8 Metro? Shouldn't it be one of the main selling point of Metro interface?
At the moment, I see really great potential for a new, different and more relaxed approach to computer use, but it's very limited by implementation and app choice...
you cant side load yet, the split screen would be handy forchat programs

Win7 Themez

Here'z what my Win7 PC lookz like all kustomized with an kustom edition of Win7, is there theme'z like this in Win Mobile? Is it possible to simply ''port'' a theme to work on a mobile device? If so then bye bye Android...
Here'z the studio where the Win7 PC is located, just thought I'd share some picturez of my hardware...:silly:
Wow, Sylenth1, Cubase, Rob Papen and my favorite brand M-Audio's Midi Controller
Windows is not a open source, It's very secure os. We don't have a high privileges capabilities or interoperability area of functionality to achieve and develop good such functions software for the Windows Phone. But also it's not a impossible thing to develop.
