I'm travelling from the UK to Las Vegas next week and was wondering were is the best and cheapest place to buy HTC products.
Any recommendations would be great.

order online and get delivered to hotel. Try frys which is at the Luxor end of the strip but I don't think they've got much HTC stuff.

I don't know what their prices are like at the moment, but they were pretty good in October when I was there. Unfortunately, they had run out of Kaisers so I missed out.

if you do hit up phonesource's store front, it's a good $20 cab ride roundtrip from the strip, but you'll get a fabulous view of how different the Las Vegas valley is away from the megaresorts/hotels. Start a stripmall picture collection!
Now that the Sim unlocking tool is out getting a AT&T Tilt and then unlocking it is the cheapest way to go. Get it delivered to the Hotel, even overnight:

You're going to have to wait for video calling in the US... Cingular has not yet activated the feature (but are allegedly going to do so sometime in Q4 this year).

Yes me too. Got mine from devicewire (still have about 60 in stock if anyone wants one), but then due to a misunderstanding with Clove found out that they are also sending me one out and have already charged my card! Not sure if its coming tomorrow as well, if not I'm hoping I can cancel. I'm not even sure I can afford to go home and be killed by my missus. Still, what she doesnt know wont hurt her. Yeah they have stock although not sure if its for people who have already pre-ordered. Devicewire.com do have 60 free stock (available to everyone). Luckily as I work in mobile technology I can claim that my many devices are 'from work'.
I also have two on order, one from clove and one from expansys-usa. I think the clove will get here first and then I can cancel the one from expansys. This will be the second from expansys that I have canceled.
Managed to cancle my Clove one although wish that had come first as it was cheaper.

HTC Shift in a London Store (INKINO again!!!)
Just a quick heads-up. Inkino have their stock in and also have one HTC Shift out on demo. It is better then I expected. Surfing was very quick and they let me try it with my SIM card so that there was no 'smoke and mirrors'. There is a nice protective case in the box too. The actual box looks like a big box of chocolate so sneaking it past the missus should be a breeze....
I witnessed 5 going out of the door whilst I was there so it is safe to say that this is going to be a hugely popular machine. Any voicecall hacks yet??

I made a trip to Miami last November and I started to send emails to CTI Miami 2 weeks in advance to my visit. The sales lady who always replied to my emails told me that the telephone was available at the store. When I got to Miami I called them, and they simply told me that they didn't had it in stock in the store and that this phone had to be ordered in advance. I was so angry at them because they just simply made me waste my time. In the end I bought it from them, but I had to order it through their website, and got it a few days later. It was a shame because I was dying to put my hands on the phone as quickly as possible. It is true that some small store is the Miami area Malls carry this phone, but the prices they charge are just simply to high ($1000 to $1500!!!!!) I will advise you to ask for celular phone stores around 25th Street, close to the Miami airport. Good Luck!!!

The pre order date for the Evo hasn't even been announced yet. I doubt you'll be able to order it in advance, let alone actually buy one by then.
does bangkok even have a cdma/wimax network? i highly doubt they will even be stocked at htc retailers outside of the us lol

And I currently have three on backorder with Amazon, Tiger Direct, and B&H respectively, no delivery dates from any of them. If by chance I get more than one before I have to cancel the orders for my trip, I'll be happy to sell at my exact cost to anybody who wants one.
