What happened to the planned Asian release of the WM6 Version of the Gene? Its 2008 already.
It's available (in India)... I have P3400i with WM6...

Nowadays there isn't official upgrade on WM6 and I didn't hear about unofficial WM6 upgrade too :-(

i have a HTC p 4350 and wm6 inside it.. is there any difference between 6 and 6.1?? do i have to install it?? and where can i find a setup file for wm 6.1?? how can install it??

your herald camestock with wm6. and 6.1 is a upgrade with some addational fetures. they way you install it is go to herald rom dev. and there is a rom there that is 6.1 that you have to hard spl it.

WWE flashed over RUS ROM

I flashed the official 479 WWE over originally pre installed Russian ROM.
No problem at all.
However installation of the Russian Rhodium EZInput freezing the device on boot stage. Which is strange by itself....
Any Ideas for localized input? I think I've sow somewhere here that finger keyboard doesn't work on HD2?

How do you did it ? i bought one in Moscow. Officially it is a WWE, but there is installed a russian version. Installation of the WWE is declines, wrong VENDER-ID. I liv in Russia, but i am not a russian and would prefer to use a english or german version.

However there are two WWE versions and one for UK

just run the exe. Nothing else. Actually with 405 WWE I've got same error as you. After I gave a try with 479 and ....
And , yes , you have the German in AZInput settings. Enjoy (I hope)

So, which german roms are working fine?
Last 6.1 I used was the one from Lalle. and it worked fine But it is no longer in development.
I would go for the nAr & Icke WM 6.5 one. I am using the Manilla Version and it's running without any probs for me.

I look to update my Swisscom Assistant XPA v1510 (HTC P3600) from WM5 to WM6 /6.1 or 6.5 (and also a newer TOMTOM-Version). But i have no idea which WM6-Version is fully compatible to my XPA v1510 from Swisscom (Swisscom herself does’t support any higher WM-Version)
Where can I find the needed SW and how can I update/upgrade my XPA? Is it the nAr & Icke WM 6.5?

I got my T-Mobile HTC HD2 & found that it ships with wm6.5
----why don't it use WM6.5.3?

I hope so, i hope they release an software update to fix all the bugs as well.Anyone know if HTC ever released an update for Europe and Asia market with a software update..
yea dont really understand why they chose to release a touch only phone with a very non touch friendly 6.5. WinMo 6.5.3 would have been alot better IMO
