I found a link to an HTC album that starts in folder selection mode and whose gestures work much better than the current one.
However its not in english. Does anyone know where to get the English version?

Anyone seen/got the new HTC Album program? Ive managed to get the keyboard and randomaccess (contacts upgrade) programs but cant find the album anywhere...

but one question, when using it, do you guys see a white "Box" in the left corner of the screen (i know that when you touch in that box, you see the options for htc album) is it supposed to be like that?
another thing is that the sliding from picture to picture is just slightly difficult to do?
but thatmight just be my device, or maybe I need to setup the sensablility of the app.

I have installed HTC album on my gene, but i am not able to use any of the finger gestures. Any idea what is wrong or what should i do to make gestures work?
It seems not to work on the Gene. Ive also tried all the variation out there,I'll stick to Resco Photo Viewer......

i am trying both image viewer and s2v.. both are good.. waiting for more developments..
I love my xperia except that the album in the multimedia panels is not very user friendly. I miss the Album programme in my touch diamond. Is there any chance that I could only install the htc Album from touch HD to xperia? I don't want to install manila or 3Dtouchflo as they may take up much memory.
I've tried installing the Touch-IT Blackstone Album cab from the #2 post of this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154. The programme was installed but i couldn't find any icon to start it.

i have installed HTC Album v2.0.1815.2532.cab from your signature. Seems that it's for qvga screen. It only fits into 1/4 of my screen and the menu bar goes to the wrong place.
Did I install the wrong file or I miss anything? Or there's any other ways to do it?

at first, sorry for my english, I'm from Germany. I've searched a while for a VGA Skin to match the look of the Media Player with the rest of my Diamond, but couldn't find anything. So I created this evening one by my self.
It's not finaly finished, but nearly at the end. If someone is interessted in this work I can Upload it here tomorrow or at monday.
Here some Screens how it looks at the moment. If you have some ideas for Improvement...

finally here it is, added today some nice rating icons and made a new Screenshot.
At the moment just portrait mode, but if I got time I add a Landscape version if some people ask for it.
If you have ideas for Improvement I'll try to implement them (if it is a good idea )

Makes no difference which ROM you use, should work on every ROM with the WMP.

No, this theme is completely made by myself! There's nothing copied.
All other Versions I've seen are just upscaled qvga versions.

interesting,i have extract into that folder(so no in internal storage,i ectract this into device memore\program files\winows media player) but skin is same,and yes i have softreset?!?!

After you have placed the Folder in Windows/Media Player look for Options/Skins then select and the device should automatically locate it and you can scroll right/left to choose.

Im looking for a HTC Album with facebook integration. I mean not only to upload some photos to facebook, but also to view albums of my facebook friends on it. Does anyone know where can I find cab? I know that there are some roms that contain it, but I dont want another rom.

Well if you have a CDMA TP2 you can use Mighty Mouse's ROM which has the social network engine in the HTC Album.

I just flashed to the newest Dec. 6th version of MightyROM and the Social Networking has been rescinded, because of bugs I was told. So I have been looking around for a good .cab that will re-insert the awesome Album integrated Facebook & Youtube uploader; I used to have it on my TP1 before I upgraded to TP2 (here is the link: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=94990)
I got that to work beautifully on my TP1, I'm just not sure of the TP2 is a different story, especially with the MightyROM. Maybe I'd be better off upgrading to the most current .cab of the HTC Album?

Try sdkcerts.cab first, then the program you are trying to install.
Hey thanks, I did get it to work but the albums and menu bar is in the middle of the screen in portrait and it looks plain outa wack on landscape?!
Im not sure if it has a registry to force it to landscape or not, you need to check, I just had those in my "APPS" folder, they could be test code, not sure. The sdkcerts should be good though...
