Seidio's super slim rubberized hard case for Kaiser, AT&T Tilt and TyTN II - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Accessories

Seidio just released the super slim rubberized hard case for AT&T Tilt, Kasier and TyTN II.
http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=896
It allows to slide and tilt while it is in the case.
Seidio

Excellent news - I actually emailed you about 5 mins ago to ask when this would be available! When I head over to the site though, I can't add it to the basket as it is out of stock?

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for posting this...now I just wish I could purchase it. Any ETA?

Looks sweet! The only problem is that the one thing I am really concerned about protecting, the screen, isn't protected at all! I'm not talking about dust and scratches, I have a screen protector for that, but about the screen being broken while the Tilt is in my pocket, jostled around all day.

I think that along with a screen protector it might be the best combo for our babies... BUT
WHY IN THE HELL ISN'T THERE ANY POSSIBILITY TO HAVE A BELT CLIP ATTACHED TO THAT CASE ?
To sell your home made holsters ? Come on that's not as convenient !
I hope some company will release the very same product with only that extra feature...
Disappointing, really.

Any idea on when it's going to be in stock?
Also, and plans on releasing a nice auto mount, similar to the one I bought from you all for my PPC-6700?

Amen to this!
Would buy this now if available!!

I would assume that the material of the Seidio super slim rubberized hard case is the same as the material of the Seidio Rubberized Spring Clip Holster reviewed here with pics...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=346130

Now all that's needed is the hybrid crystal-rubber hardcase with rubberized holster combo and the accessory list is complete.

Any ETA on the Hybrid Skin and the 3XXX maH battery that you said will be thinner than some company's 2400 maH?

I think higher-res pictures are needed. The pics (besides the rubberized appearance) make it look exactly like the hard-cases available for 1/3rd the price (about $9/shipped). If this is really only 1mm thick, flaunt it with some good pics

Yes, I've been waiting for this.....will order 2 but need Hi-Res pics!

It comes with a case. See:
http://mobilitysite.com/2007/09/htc-kaisertytn-ii-video-unboxing/
i think the best cases made are by RIM (black berry). Get the BB 8700 holster, it fits really well and is very sturdy. I have one myself.
Leather with rotating belt clip. http://www.eaccess-estore.com/store...ry_Leather_Swivel_Holster_for_8700_Series.gif

I actually meant the hard plastic holsters. I don't like the leather full surround cases.
Thanks
I really like the Pocket Solutions "Signature Series" holster with quick release belt clip. I have one for my TyTn and contacted them about a TyTn II version. They said that they would consider it if the demand is there, so it's going to take a few months till the volume of units are out in the field.
This is a flip/flap leather holder that allows full function while in the holster. I like it a lot because I can quickly remove it from my belt clip and drop it into a dashboard "vent clip" from theclip.com. This allows for good GPS map viewing and hands free operation with a BT headset.
I only remove the phone from the holster itself if I want to slide the keyboard which isn't very often.
I've yet to see any good hard holster. I too don't like the fully contained holsters, they are the most compact but you have to remove the phone to use it which kills it for me.
Really hope Pocket Solutions gets a lot of requests! I need that holster.
You'll soon see many of the Treo aftermarket companies offering Tilt items; they're almost exactly the same size. For a hard holster look at
UNSKINNED HOLSTER (RUBBERIZED) FOR TILT/TYTN II from Seidio
at http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=871.
It's $29.95 and currently marked out of stock, by keep trying.

Silicon Protection

Hi, I'm looking for a silicon protection for my kaiser. Yesterday I drop my kaiser for my first time... It has 3 horrible body scratches now... the smooth surface is anything but scrached protected...
I'm now looking for some kind of protection. My first idea was to get a silicon protector, like those used for ipods... But I have not been able to find any....
Does any of you own one of those?
Any recomendation?
http://shop.brando.com.hk/prod_detail.php?prod_id=02247&dept_id=039&cat_id=0763
Thanks for the info!!!
Are u using one of those? Are u still able to use the HTC holder (The one included in the original HTC TyTN 2 box)?
Have u buy any other product from that website?
thanks !!!!!
I am not using it for the TyTNII, but had one for the P3600. Have ordered many products from that site.....no problems whatsoever. Still think Brando screen protectors are amongst the best you can find.
Has anyone seen a similar silicone case but with a plastic screen protector like that for the wizard?
- TKN
How the Brando works if we slide and tile the screen? Anyone can post a pic for this?
they sell it on ebay for $10 shipped
Hi,i've bought one for my trinity and it was very effective. So i command one ( Brando ) for my Kaiser.I've received it today and it's really a bad product, the protection fall all the time.So i continue to use my trinity silicon case.So don't buy this !
I've got one off eBay, maybe fake who knows, but it suffers exactly as Marcdu81 says. Its rubbish, falls off all of the time, on the Artimes, I used a silicon protector in cunjunction with a slip case, and was hoping to repeat that with the kaiser. Looks like the Seido super thin case is the only way, at ~£30 to the UK. I only paid £80 + contract for the kaiser so £30 is a lot for a case. I'll carry on hunting for a good and cheap case.
DO NOT BUY THAT!!!
It's a piece of junk just like everyone said. The best protection currently for this device is the Seidio rubberized case. I know it's pricey, but it's well worth it.
Trust me, I tried the cheap way and got that piece of crap from ebay. Do like I did and bite the bullet. You can get the Seidio rubberized case for a few bucks cheaper on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/724-Seidio-Rubb...ryZ20337QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Actually, once you get the Seidio case, the crappy silicone case fits much better when you use both at the same time.
do they sell the Seidio rubberized case without the hole for the second camera in the front? my tilt doesnt have the second camera.

must have tilt accessories?

My Tilt is on the way, and I'm looking to get some to go with it.
Things i'd like:
-cradle w/extra battery station
-case-big problem! to many choices..which is efficient..I have no idea..
-scooter mount :
http://www.sym.com.tw/eng/product/i...=2&PHPSESSID=0aa9c090454f94fb9d00d3ea1eaf2d22
-screen protector
-usb battery extender..
What do you use?
any help on any of this would be extremely appreciated. I just don't know where to start..are products on Ebay worth the time?
Have a great day.
Cradle w/ Extra Battery Station
I personally own one like this that I got from ebay. I've had it for a few months and it works fine without any problems.
Case
Check out this style of case from Seidio. It's one of the more popular cases out there.
Scooter Mount
Sorry but I have no idea for a good scooter mount. Search the forum or google for opinions on this.
Screen Protector
Screen protectors seem to be a matter of opinion due to different issues such as clarity vs glare and smooth feel versus paper feel and so on. Check out this article for a review on a few different protectors.
USB Battery Extender
I've never used an extender before as I haven't had a need for one. Between wall and car chargers I'm always fine as far as power goes. But your use may very well differ from mine. I have seen a few extenders on ebay and other online stores so spend a little time searching and you should be able to give yourself a few options to decide from.
And like anything on ebay.... Buyer Beware!
Oh, thanks for the links, especially the SP tests..
Again, thanks for your time..
have a great day.
If you go to Amazon, there is a package deal of the seidio skin and the belt clip for $5 less than is on seidio's store. After shipping, of course. Must have, best case solution for the tilt. Anything else is for halfwits.

I've bought one of these for GPS on a Mountain Bike.
HERE
The 'fit' is very good but I used a scalpel (and finished off with a hot knife) creating a recess in the side foam so that it wraps over the Kaiser for added security.

Careful!!!!!
Guys, be careful with those flip leather bags!
I'm having really bad experience with this one. It has a sheet of protective foil (0.5 mm thick) over the keyboard, so when the screen is closed, this foil is pushing the screen away from the keyboard.
One week of using this crap bag and now I can actually pull the screen away from the keyboard 1mm or so (left side in closed position). And when I shake the closed phone holding the keyboard, i can see and hear the screen flapping.
Apparently the hinges are not stable enough to resist any objects between them. I don't see a way of tightening them up myself. (Although I'm pretty do-it-myself guy, don't feel like taking this thing apart without instructions).
So I'm just getting myself an aluminium case, at least it won't get worse, 'cause the screen and keyboard are allways fixed against each other.
And I strongly recommend you consider whether you want to ruin an expensive unit with a cheap bag.
I add this one. It's a high quality leather case.
A little bit expansive but i'm so glad to have it, it's really good.
I really want this case, but does anyone know of a side case that exposes the miniusb, so I can plug in my headphones

Agreed, I personaly refused to use that type of case after seeing another touch pro flapping after it got taken out its case. Mines thankfully has never been in such case and is still like new. Avoid may well be the best advise. However it does limit what you can pick though. I use the HTC sleve, and then put that in my mini s belt case. A bit bulky, but until a good solution comes about, it'll have to do.
I too use the sleeve that comes with it but my problem is when I keep it in my pocket , sometimes when I receive a call , it answers on its own , very irritating

Just get the Zagg Invisi shield and then you dont need a case
I have a Max Protection Zagg installed on my phones, but I still don't like putting my phone in my pockets so I have been trying some different pouches and have surprisingly found many iPhone cases that works really nice with the HD2.

I can't really say if they're more feminine or not, but here's the only other 3 styles I've seen for HD2 leather cases. The last one doesn't specifically say it'll work with the Tmo HD2, but I think there's a good chance based on its flexibility.

Blonde_Sometimes,
I have the Noreve Leather Case for my HTC HD2 USA T-Mobile version. One of very few cases that completely protect your precious device including the camera. Personally, I think the Noreve Case is very classy. Something a woman would be proud to brandish from her handbag / purse.
The case I got was the HTC Touch HD2 Tradition leather case
The Color I got was Illumination Selection Black Onyx. More Information On The Illunination Selection
Most of the time I just keep it in my slacks pocket or jacket pocket without the belt clip attached. On some occasions, when wearing jeans or shorts and just a t-shirt that does not have a pocket, I use the belt clip. I will not put my HD2 in jeans pocket.
If you plan on using a belt clip, I highly suggest you get the Belt clip 360 degree rotation - Metal
Here is some photos of my case. Click on the photograph to see a slideshow.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Thank you,

Thank you Sirphunkee,
Noreve has different styles of textures / finishes. Check it out if the Illumination Selection is too shiney for you. The Illumination Selection is varnished leather, similar to Patent Leather.
Also, I forgot to mention, on the flap, there is a cutout for the hardware buttons.
I liked it so much, I got two. One for work, and one I keep for going out on the town.
When going out, I put my Drivers' License, Concealed Weapons License, and my Credit Card in the slot. No need to take a wallet.
Thank you,

Sirphunkee, sincere thanks for all links. I ended up contacting Piel Frama derectly and they will make custom made case for me which will fit T-mobil version “like a glove”
Thanks boys, XOXO

The Noreve case has LOTs of colors and 4 different styles of leather to choose from. Probably 30 or so choices total. I agree with Monnie about noreve being the way to go... I got one of those for my HD2 custom made for me. Best case I've ever owned. Already dropped my HD2 on driveway and case protected it perfectly. Check out the noreve website... there are lots of color options.
I got the Dark Vintage from the Exceptional Selection... The leather feels like suede... it's beautiful. And I also recommend the metal belt clip if you're gonna be using it clipped on to something.
If you still go with piel frama, I definitely recommend the magnum case... otherwise you will have problems with the proximity sensor being covered by the leather. I've also heard it makes it harder to touch the sides of the screen accurately because of the leather. The magnum case holds the phone the same way the noreve case does, so you don't have leather covering sensors and around the screen & buttons. The main reason I picked the noreve over the magnum case was the bigger variety of leathers and colors the noreve has and the fact that the magnum uses magnets which interferes with the compass. Also, I wasn't sure if the magnum would fit the US HD2 well, as it was made for the euro version. The Noreve case was also made for the euro version, but it still fits the US version great.
