Athena Unlocker Download

Ok, the Unlocker is released, sorry it's so big but there's nothing I can do about that I'm afraid, that's just the way it is.
Those of you who are already unlocked should complete step 1 regardless... step 2 and 3 are optional (but if you do 2, you MUST do 3)
it's a pretty simple 3-step process and it's all explained, remember to keep your Athena connected at all times until you have fully completed all the steps.
So anyway...

Please note: you must have .net Framework 2.0 installed with the services packs, if you don't it then it probably won't run till you download it.
UPDATE: Thanks to apd, I isolated the problem and have fixed it, your device will now be hardreset in the process of unlocking unfortunately, but this fixes the blackscreen issue. please delete your unlocker and redownload.
SPECIAL INFO ABOUT STEP 2: When you run this step, first your device will be flashed; this is NOT the end of Step 2, you must then configure your device and set it up fully so you can access the menus etc (there will be a prompt to ask you to do this after the flash anyway). then you will be able to continue. please make sure to read ALL dialogs fully

Everyone needs to give you an extended thank you since you started working on this before the device arrived. Being that resourceful is a great thing.
Thanks Olipro for making this goal a reality and stuffing it to those that never believed.
Maybe next time we have a common goal, all those that doubted it was possible will join in ensuring quicker success.
That said, let's get donations going for Midget's device. We've already proven this system works. Let's repeat success and keep going.
Being an Athena owner puts you in a special category. And if we can afford such a great device, we can surely afford a little more money as a collective to buy a second device for the developers. More good news: I've managed to optimise the SPL not to query the radio at all when it checks CID, so if you manually issue task 32, it returns a "level = 0" instantly.
What's more, this SPL will block all other SPLs from flashing, so you can't remove the bootloader except manually with pdocwrite from windows mobile.
Tomorrow I'll get cracking on an unlocker, and maybe something to let you relock if there's demand for it .
Next stop? ROM Cooking.

Okay,someone has to be first.....I am getting a couple of errors when I try to run it.
The first one asks if my pda has gone idle, the second one occurs during the spl backup and states that it cannot find the temp file, and the log states at the end;
Copying C:\TempAth\itsutils.dll to WCE:\windows\itsutils.dll
Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version, maybe it is inuse?
try restarting your device, or restart activesync
or maybe your device is application-locked.
What am I doing wrong here?

White Bootloader Screen

My unit is working fine..can make receieve calls etc...
Am running on Meschle's 2.11 lite....hard reset fine everything fine...
When I try to upgrade to the full version - Gives me error...Connection.check cradle etc...
Tried Official ROM - same problem
Tried Manual Bootloader - goes into a white screen and hangs...then after 4-5 minutes i see the colored screen with IPL 3.04.0001 and SPL 1.11.000...
if I reset goes back to the ROM that was there on it...works fine...
Did I just brick my phone?
Not that I am not happy with it...but then why the Bootloader and flashing is not working?

Try the official dopod version from here.
NOTE: it will change ipl, spl and gsm radio versions.
After that run uspl again before tryin any other rom

Hi Nikmei, do you need to tun uspl first before flash the official dopod rom, thanks

This method is only for an extreme case like when you can’t boot!
Do not use this method for update w/out the uspl.

thanks , when i try to run upsl it got to 70% the the screen turn off and a pengune picture, what should i do now, thanks

If you really want to flash your pda then you better hard reset it then uspl will work for 100%.
Normally if you run uspl you should get a blank screen and after that you can goon with the update wizard.

NikMel, i have the dopod m700, try to run the upsl few times before flash to wm6 rom, every time it went to 70% the screen went off, please help

I can't tell you for sure if this procedure will work for your pda.
this works on artemis or p3300 or dopod p800

the rom we have is english but for now i need to get hardspl made so you guys can flash the rom. its dumped of raskel's device which is english and then i cooked it. again guys im happy to help BUT id appreciate if u guys could get a fimd together like was done for athena to get me a device i can use to make it easier to cook and also if i have a device it would benefit oli and cmonex as im always on when they are and have much expirence working with them so everything could be done faster. REMEMBER it is not easy to cook for a device to have. u have to rely on the testing and feedback of others.

Thanks for the prompt rep. Unfortunately O2.de customer services informed me that my order will not go through until the 20th of January 2008, since the stock figures they had were wrong.

May be some video related dlls. There is a Kaiser issue with video and I think people are lookng to try dlls from other devices using the qualcom chip to see if the fix the issue.

A bit further down in the device specific forums we've been waiting for the creation of the HardSPL for the HTC mega (aka touch2) so we can try custom roms and stuff but as much as we wait no one has pulled through.
On behalf of all Touch2 users here on XDA I request that someone please put in the time to create the HardSPL, I'm sure beers will be bought and donations will be made to the person who delivers, so please anyone out there to help us?

I am with you on that request - many many people have the phone already. And many other phones here have HSPL, mega is e great device, new but no one has made HSPL for it, and its been 3 months now. So please, anyone...

Maybe someone can help us with HardSpl for our beloved HTC Mega,not necessarily for free,I'm willing to pay a small amount for it,if needed.

We know about this link, we are there everyday, but since november no answer from a cook/chef, and almost all other HTC phones have HSPL it, so why dont we have it soon too.

A friend told me that soon we can see 6.5.3 official for HTC Touch2, but we cant put it on phone without HSPL

Did you do it, is it on your phone. Cause i dont think it will do the trick, i asked HTC and they said if my phone is really a T-Mobile or other operator one it wont work

You mean the official Weather Update right? Mine is T-Mobile UK, its unlocked now, i tried only once, it stopped at the beggining. Tell me step by step if you succeeded to put it on your phone, please.
EDIT: someone sujested me to remove the sim card or turn off the phone from Comm Manager, because its unlocked, but i am not with T-Mobile sim card...

A little Success in booting Wm 6.1 on Alphine

he just put bootloader from magician rom into alpine (same processor, same way)

bilalbest, I think, u don't have any chance to cook usable rom in this way. Pardon.
At least u must have code base from cotulla's project, but it's not sharing, therefore it practically useless. Only reverse engineering can help u, but it's very very hard process, which requires special knowledge.
So, IMHO.

I think you can install magican radio image, but I really can't tell that it won't harm your GSM module at all..
