Remove orange customisation on the call screen - Touch Dual, MDA Touch Plus General

Hi
Does anyone know how to change the orange customisation on the calling screen, where it is orange on a white background and get the HTC black and turquoise?
Thanks
Ben

Hi all need some help. i am new to the world of ppc phones with the touch dual on orange as my 1st phone. i think i have a similar problem as ben.
i hate the hideous home screen that orange has. Is there any way i can change the settings so that i have the htc cube home screen with weather instead of the orange home screen?
hope im not hijacking your thread ben
please help
thanx
Nik

go to start -> settings -> today
then select htc rather then orange. then click items at the bottom, untick orange and tick htchome and what ever otherones you want. such as calender and tasks this should do it for ya. but it wont remove the custom settings from the dialing app.
for that your best bet is to go to the hermes forum i would guess and grab a cabfile from thier that has the original touch dialer and install that cab.
[edit]ok i did ya job for ya, is this what your looking for?[/edit]

as always make a backup of your phone as the cab could have a negitive effect on your phone. as its tested with a different phone then ours...

I had the same problem, and there is a real easy solution to it.
First do a Hard Reset to your HTC Touch.
After the Hard Reset process is completed and after the Touch PAd is configured it will apear on the screen a message saying that in a few seconds your HTC Touch will be customized.
IMMEDIATeLY do a SOFT RESET.
You HTC Touch will reboot and you will have the original HTC Colors (Cube colors included). Everything will be from the original HTC and not from your brand (like red for Vodafone, or Blue for TMN...)
Hope it helped
Merry Xmas everyone

first screen problem ...

Hi everyone !
Enjoying my Touch HD but today first problem has cropped up.
My screen can be seen below - screenshot_1.jpg and also how it has changed - screenshot_3.jpg.
Sometimes the clock changes to just numbers that do not flip over.
I did install HTCPlus! but it did not work, so I uninstalled it.
I have tried a soft reset and do not want to do a hard reset !
I have also changed pictures in settings > today, and then rebooted the Touch HD and then tried to put the original picture back..
Any ideas?

yes, solution hard reset
you should be able to correct it by going settings > wallpaper > then it should ask to use default yes or no, just hit yes.
Thats how it works on the diamond, maybe its the same on the HD?

sorry, but i am not sure what the problem is and how many problems you are describing:
I blieve one of the problem is that your clock's numbers don't flip over.
i am not sure what is the point of the screen shots, are you saying the background looks different (second picture has a greyish background). Please clarify so we can assist you.
Just go to settings (TFLO 3D) > Background > default background : yes or no, choose yes and the background is just normal again.
I had that problem also when i was discovering the new Touch HD phone
Hi!
sorted now, worked it out this evening...
and mwatson! you were spot on! Thanks to everyone for posting...

HELP! Cannot see the "Calendar" and "Contact" on the screen!

Hello Everyone,
I have used the X1 for around 2 weeks, it's been running fine.
However, few days ago after I have fully charged my X1 using USB cable, I find a very strange thing!
The bottom part of the screen which usually display the "Calendar" and "Contact" is "whitened"!
Although I can still click on them, but I can't see the words.
I tried to change to other panels but the bottom "bar" is still the same, white in color.
Besides, I tried to soft reset my X1 and the problem still there.
Does anyone encounter similar things before? Or I am the only unlucky person???
Merry Christmas and thank you very much!
did you try to do something with the bar??
i use nueNoBar and removed the bar the hardware buttons still work. or you can hard reset your x1.
if you dont want to hard reset try the software.
you can download the software here:
http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/page/nueNoBar.aspx
try to change theme and see if does someting.
I had that when I automatically started emoze with a soft-reset. After doing that manually the problem disappeared. You could see what programs you do run at startup.

[REQ]Original TP2 theme to replace T-Mobile theme

Hi,
I'm going to pick up an MDA Vario V this week and after having played with it in the shop, I've decided that the first thing I want to do it is revert to the stock TF3D2 theme. Could someone with a TP2 cab that up for me?
Thanks in advance
Here you go mate. Scroll halfway through te topic.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=525411
Disable TF3D. Install CAB. Soft reset. Eneable TF3D.
Careful with this theme - I ended up having to hard reset when the install didn't go well - it prevented my Vodafone Pro2 from booting. May have been a one off, not sure - but back up before giving it a go!
It's worked for me!
I've been looking all day just to change the anoying red vodafone time, works perfect on my Touch Pro 2... With the neon buttons really looking cool now.
Thanks all.
I've had no problems with this theme, but now i see that explorer can't be started anymore. Is there a solution to this problem? As i don't have another file manager installed.

No Touch Flo 3D

Hey Guys,
I have an HTC Touch Pro 2 and everything was working fine and all of a sudden I lost the TF3D interface and am now back to the Win MO 6.1 interface. I did a soft reset several times with no luck.
Is there any way of getting it back without doing a hard reset. Would appreciate help on this one.
Thanks

Open your start menu, select "settings". On the first tab, choose "Today"
On the next screen, choose the "items" tab, and then you'll see a checkbox in the list for TouchFLO 3D, just check that, then hit "ok" to exit. When you return to the home screen, you should have TF3D back.
This is the method to turn TF3D on/off when you're doing things like installing cabs that change the look of TF3D in any way.
Touch FLO 3D Back again
Sirphunkee,
Hey, I followed your instructions and my TF3D is back again. Man you saved me because I was considering a hard reset. By the way I did install new cabs for the Home screen.
Thanks a million.
P.S. I had seen that screen once before but never had any need to use. I won't forget this one again.

Glad to help!
Yes, any time you run cabs that change the appearance at all, it's always a good idea to turn TF3D off first, just to make sure there's no issue with the cab accessing files etc that it needs to modify.

HD2 missing start screen++ please help.

Hi!
Yesterday I had to soft reset my HD2 and when I turned it back on, the screen with the clock and quicklinks and the slider between different pages at the bottom were missing..The only thing I see when I unlock the screen, is the same background picture that I use on my lock screen. What has happened? Isn't sense booting as it should?
Thanks,
Tomzern
go to settings, more, today, elements.
which one is marked there?
htc sense should be the only one.

Thank you DN41
HTC sense was the only one marked, but I changed it to windows standard, and back to HTC sense, and everything was back to normal
Problem solved
it's a pleasure.
