Easier way to do brn icons - Touch CDMA General

Isn't there a way that we can get a thread going where people post their brns in a format that is easier to use.
For examlpe:
Here are all the icons that can be used on the 3 button side of the cube <insert slingbox, windows live, google maps icon ect...>
and here are the same icons that are formatted for the 6 button cube
<insert icons>
I don't have any of these icons, infact I have some crappy screwed up versions that suck. Because I'm too stupid to perfect them.

bump
I'm also too stupid. please post.

i know it's on another forum, but it's got a lot of people already posting icons.

Help with skinning

well, I'm having problems getting my wizard to look cool like alot of people.
I got the WA2 program, and when I install themes, alot of the upper icons get cut off. Like it's missing sections? i've tried like 4 different ones, and no luck. The only one that works is the default one.
Also, I cannot find the little program to make my bottom bar look like a windows desktop way, like i see on everyone's, like that with the lil tray thing and new menu.

New Theme rltoday/batterystatus need help

Ok so ive been piecing together this theme from many different people, i take no credit for this, i just changed some skins and edited a few things,
anyhow, i have been working for a bit on this and was just wondering if i could get some feedback, first off i dont like the look of the weather, i would rather put something else in its place but i dont know what to do with that space, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Second, is there a stand alone weather program i could link to a tab on the RLtoday at the bottom? i would like something that isn't today oriented so it doesnt have to take up space on my screen like weatherpannel is now.
Heres some images for you, thanks for all the feedback you can give me.
Nearly like my Today-Screen... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2481517&postcount=341
I've used UltimateLaunch for the Bottom Thing! With UltimateLaunch it's possible to place the Tabs below the items, and you can use images instead of text...little tweaking, and it'll look like yours!
greetz,
infernalshade
EDIT: If you need more space...there is a .exe that'll hide the softbuttons, so you can use the space of the hidden-softbuttons!
Re:
I have tried UL but i didnt like how you can't launch programs from one of the tabs, its either today plugins or groups of shortcuts, you cant do what ive done with rltoday which is have shortcuts to specific programs. I am using dcinobar which is great and gives me more space, i just dont like the look of the weatherpannel, maybe theres a better theme that would work better with mine or a different plugin i could put there,
thanks for the help,
Well yes, thats true...How do you like my WeatherPanel Theme? its the samuraix theme, i think mini+ template! maybe it'll fit into your plugin!

I don't understand what you mean... You can configure the tabs however you want, pointing to exe, lnk, or "." whatever that is...
UL tabs
Im saying you cant click on a tab and instantly open say opera, you have to go into the tab and click the icon for opera, you can have pages of programs on a tab. i'm using mortbuttons, so the star and the music note open mortbuttons for my programs and media, and the rest open up programs (pocketcm, browser, psshutxp)
And i love the weather panel theme, i changed the size of it so it takes up the whole space there, yet id still like a stand alone weather program, i guess ill just keep this till i find one
I see now, but that seems like a waste of space, couldn't you just put an icon on the bottom of your home screen? OR... just make ultimate launch use gestures to launch the app you want. For example, slide finger from bottom to top to launch Opera. Not saying you have to, but there are options...

Make Icons smaller

Hi.
Is there a way to make the icons smaller so I can fit more on the home screen versus having just 3?
The same would go when you hit the start button, To me the icons are just to large.
Thanks
Look at number 22 in the list in thread #583638 (Sorry - can't post links yet). I've installed it and it looks so much better.
I'm also writing an app to remove "stuck" icons on the home page. I'm sure someone else has already made something, but I want to write something useful as my first WinMo app.

Is it easy to change program icons on the TP2?

As above really -
Got a ton of icons on my storage card, but I have no idea how I can change the icons I'm currently using to the ones on the storage card. Or is it a lot more difficult than it sounds?

It IS possible, but I'll let one of the more experienced people here tell you exactly how (I'm not well-versed on the process.....yet).
But, in the meantime, would you be willing to zip up your icon collection and sharing it? I'm always looking for new icons to use...I can already replace them on the slider bar, next thing to learn is the program ones
Icons for Windows Mobile phone
Of course! I can't remember where I got them all - so I'm hoping the creators are happy for me to share them out.
536 icons in total (although there are a few duplicates - I mean 2 different icons for the same program).
Enjoy!
The question of how easy it is depends on which OS you're running... if it's 6.5 I recommend using JWMD's Icon Changer, but many recommend Showaco's reSTART. The 'how to' instructions for each app can be found in that thread I just linked.
If it's 6.1 it's more cumbersome as you have to edit the link. I don't bother with it and instead customize whatever shell I'm using at the time.
You're welcome to grab any of my folder icons listed in my sig
Thanks for the links!
Do these same programs change the icons on the home tab? I like the icons in my start menu, but the icons on the home tab are different for the same programs.

Blue Skin Help Please

Hi!
New around here so please be patient.
My HD2 is also my very first Windows Smart Phone, so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
My query is this:
I'm looking for a skin/theme (I'm not sure) that will make all wallpapers/backgrounds to appear blue.
Do I need to install just wallpapers, or will there be more I need to do to give my phone the nice blue I'm looking for.
Could any of you guys also please let me know where to find such a thing, and how I need to go about to install everything.
I've tried for the last few days to go through all these pages looking for help, but I get a bit overwhelmed by everything.
I've already got the blue theme selected in my Today folder, but I'd like all the backgrounds to appear a nice deep blue.
Also, is there any way to make the boxes surrounding the home screen's software buttons disappear? I'd still like the descriptive functions to be there but without those boxes.
I'd really love everything to be a nice smooth blue.
I'm sorry to ask these questions that will probably be silly to you guys, but I'd really like to get my new phone the way I like it.
Thanks very much.
Stephen
..cheers everyone for all your help!
Superb!
To make the software icons transparent use Co0kies Home Tab Cab 1.6.1 together with his CHTEditor.
There is much written on the forums for having consistent backgrounds across all screens etc.
The link below will get you started on your background requirements.

Hope this helps.

Good to see sarcasm still has it's fans.
In regards to your 'theme', you'd be best off finding a background image with the colour you prefer then copying it to the phone, and selecting it as the background image in:
Settings -> Personalize
The transparent boxes around the quicklinks (I'm guessing thats what you mean)
http://www.ad-grafiska.se/HD2/visual_mods/Touch X transparent quicklinks when asign app.cab
Found from this thread after less than 2 mins searching in the "HD2 Themes and Apps" forum:

Thanks very much for all your help.
I do mean that
