i bought a used spv m 5000, after a week the battery dead , i bought a new battery with 5200 MAH ,and other one with 1600 MAH, the big battery discharging completly in standby after aproxemativly 24 hours ,and the small one maximum 10 hours, this happen without to use the phone at all just standby mode, first i thought that it is a rom problem , i changed meney roms ,i taked off the memory card ,the same problem.
can anybody help me ? ,or to tell me normaly the battery of the universal how meny hours stay in standby mode ?, i observed that it i use it ar in standby mode the battery need aproxemativly the same time to discharge.

I'm a new user of tytn or better voda v1605. i have a big problem:
the battery life is about 3 hours. i have 3 battery, one original (1350mah) and 2 commercial (1500mah). when i put the phone in charge te battery gone very hot.
When i turn on the pda when battery gone down to 60% (in about 1 hour) the battery gone very hot about 40° celsius or more and it discharge faster. My friend have the same tytn but it works better, the battery duration is about 1 day an half using it normally. anyone know what, or where is the problem? it looks like an hardware problem, and i need help to fix it

i have a imate jas jam the problem is the battery discharges rapidly while making a call or playing music but stays on stand by for a day or two. the battery discharges and charges in incriment 10% that is during charging 10,20, 30 etc and during discharging 90,80,70 etc.
i did a rom upgrade from official site and also changed battery still no luck.
any solution guys

I found the battery always did discharge rapidly when being used. To fix the 10% increments it would be a good idea to flash a cooked rom BUT make sure you have installed Hard SPL 1st...
Might not discharge so quickly (or seem to) when going down in 1% increments...

i flashed it with original rom from imate support and not cooked one,the battery hardly gives 10 to 20 minutes talktime,

How old is the battery? If you got the original one when the device came to market a few years back it would be on its last legs now.
haha yeah mine is 2 months away from a second birthday and about to be retired!
Battery lasts about 40 minutes just by using 3g connection and streaming AD2P at the same time and getting worse everyday.

Sir like many others, I too have a battery problem with my SPV M3100
The battery always shows it's status in the 10s. Which means like..
90%, 80%, 70%, ...
It never shows up something else then tens which is not really good.
The second problem. If the battery is 100% charged, I open WIFI in few seconds it will drain to 90% and 80% and then 70%.. It drains really very fast. I know that WIFI eats up the battery but not like 10% in 1 minute???
Third problem, If I keep my mobile 100% battery on stand by mode and I don't get a call. After 24 hours I go and see it will show and battery left 100%. But if I go and do a small task in mobile, it will drain like 30% in once. That is quite ammazing I have never played on music so can't say how much it drains while playing music on hands free.
Overall on standby mode, the battery lasts like 3 to 4 days. But if you use it for even a small thing, it drains really fast and battery was dead.
Please help, I think this all is not normal, Radio version can be the reason of this???

EDIT : You need to flash a ROM with a 1% increment fix, it's because the stock/official ROM has 10% increment battery meter, I don't know why.. And my battery drains very fast because I have over-charging it.. I leave my Hermes charging overnight when I'm sleeping, and it leads to over-charging.. You need to unplug the charging cable when the charging complete ASAP..
I have the same problem on my Spv m3100. The power meter deplete at 10% increments. Unlike my HTC TyTyn 2 - Kaiser this shows actual units.
Hello guys i havae some problem with my Blackstone i use it from 2.5 years and i never had problem like this so..
Now when i recharging my device always stay on same % for example even for 1 hour its show always 20% or 50% or anything depends when i put it on the charger..
After restart can show 100% full or anything.. so i found out that the indicator absolutly do not work so if i restart it and show me the real % for example 50% the device always will show 50% battery untill the battery is fully discharged..
And right now i dont know how much Batterry i have and when will need to recharge..
I don`t know but i think this is a battery problem? i use this battery from the begining i mean from more than 2.5 years and maybe is time to change it?! but this heppand when i drop my device once on the floor so do thee is posible by droping the device some senzor to be broken or this is not posible i mean its a battery problem and i will need to buy new one?! or give me some idea how to test this and fix it.
Now no matter that the indicator do not work i still can use my device 1-2 days with one charge even if always show 20% this mean that in the battery itself have power for 2 days conversation internet and etc.. but just do not shown right.

I read in the Diamond forum that peoples expirience the same problem with the indicator and even after Hard Reset or flashing new ROM the problem is still there.. so if this is right then i dont have reason to Flash again my device if the problem will be still here.
Any Suggestions?

I did some tests... so i fully discharge the battery and i saw that even when the battery was on 0% and always the Warning appear i was able to play with the the Device with Wi Fi ON and Games and Music around 45 minutes wow.. this mean that the battery somehow was not calibratet and when its shows 0% in her still have around 30 40 % so after fully discharge the battery till the device Turn OFF by itself then few times turn it ON till there is not enought power even the WinMo to Startup i put it while OFF on the Charger and i was able to recharg to 100% and the light become green this mean the senzor itself work maybe just the battery need calibration again.
Now will see do the indicator work corectly after few more recharges and will write here for peoples who have the same problems in the future

hi dude, i think you should simply buy a new battery, but preferably an official htc battery - rather than the unofficial gold one you have posted a link to on ebay.
if you do decide to buy a new battery then put the new battery into your blackstone and charge while device is turned off.
this should fix your problem

Actually i think its not Battery die problem because i did some test and i see improvment my battery last at least 2-3 days with alot of usage wifi and etc so this is more than normal.. the problem was that the indicator do not work corectly and like i wrote above i discharge fully the battery till the device die and i saw that when my battery was on 0% i still play alot alot my device to swtich off this mean that befor when the indicator shows 0% its remain anorhter 30 40% power this heppand due to 2.5 years usage and i recharge the device when i have time not always when is fully without power and i think that this cause somehow a discalibration of the Li Ion so today when i did the trick i see improvments and now the indicator start to count ever single % so i think when i do this one or two more times the Battery will be calibratet and will show very corect how much Power i still have.
I think this way because if this battery was already died the device will not last 2-3 days with super usage.
