They have some pages on their site that allude to it but I called and it is not yet available. After three e-mails from an idiot there that kept pointing me to a std. pen/laserpointer... They said it will be available soon and will e-mail me when it is.

I've been keeping an eye on ebay but nothing has popped up yet from here or SE Asia (HK). If/when I find one will set a post

After reading about bodyguardz for the T-Mobile Vario III on this most excellent of forums I ordered one from www.pocketsolutions.com. On their webpage they also had listed a kaiser 3-in-1 stylus/reset pin/pen so I ordered it. Delivery took 5 days from the US to the UK and once it arrived I checked the 3-in-1 stylus. However it was just a normal stylus, no pen & no reset pin. Emailed pocketsolutions, and they denied that such a stylus existed for the kaiser and all its varients! So I emailed them back cut 'n' pasted their words from the website and told them they had it advertised with a pen! They emailed back and told me it was a figment of my imagination! Why they couldn't just say yes we got it wrong I will never know. Needless to say, getting a refund for the stylus.
www.proporta.co.uk claim to stock one but at nearly £15 inc delivery I'm just gonna hold out until someone on ebay has one for much cheaper.

Help finding screen protectors in the UK

I just ordered the K-Jam which will be arriving tomorrow
Where in the UK can I find a decent screen protector for it? I would prefer an online retailer.
Thanks.
It is in Hong Kong but very reliable.
And what's important their screen protector is the best.
I only buy this one.
http://shop.brando.com.hk/screenprotector.php
It will last as long as your Wizard with no scratch.
And it is great to eliminate reflections.
There's a new one http://shop.brando.com.hk/ultraclearscreenprotector.php
But I never tried it.
Thanks. I ordered 1 of each to try. the thing is it says it will take 15 days to arrive. Must be going by surface mail
I need the protector by Monday so does anyone one have any other suggestions?
have taken the plunge and ordered the ultraclear version, delivery is said to be around 10days....
I ordered the Expansys ones.... we'll see how well that works out. Least the deliever is 1 or 2 days
Lewis
i have a screen protector, from a old pda cut down to size while i wait for the new ones

as said in a earlier post i ordered from the shop quoted above, and been told by my wife that my sreen protectors have arrived today!
i wont see them myself until this evening, but i had to say how impressed i was with the speed!
ordered on the 2nd from HongKong and received in the UK on the 8th.
hope they do the job
just to finish my last post,
got home, put on the new screen protector, and it's great.
I have had three EXIM screen protectors, one for my XDA II Mini and two for mine and my dads digicams and they are the best. Perfectly clear, easy to apply, writing with stylus is normal, and you can remove and adjust them.
I have one coming for my K-JAM (one for the JAM/XDA Mini) which like the others I got off eBay. Last one I ordered (for my XDA Mini) came in 4 days!

Where to get a writeshield for XDA Exec in the UK?

Does anyone know where I can get a writeshield for my XDA Exec in the UK?
So far I have only found Expansys and they are very expensive...
Can anyone recommend somewhere better? Big bonus points if they also do a car charger for under £10.
I've been safe and happy with ebay... but with selected retailers.
I just ordered an invisibleSHIELD for my PSP, I'll try to review it shortly. Including worldwide delivery = £8. Apparently indestructable and lifetime replacement.
V
My problem is that I don't know what screen size the Exec is, or which will fit it. I was just saying writeshield because I'd previously had one for my Alpine and it was very good.
Basically I just want a decent screen protector for under £10 excluding delivery, I'm open to suggestions.
I have the one from proporta & am very pleased only cost £5.95 see this page

dont worry about uk... just go to Shop brando and get one from the guy in Hong Kong. He has great customer service - i have had several screen protectors from him over the years!
http://shop.brando.com.hk/ultraclearscreenprotector.php
I've used Brando screen protectors for years. They're not available in the UK, but you can get them mail order from HK - http://shop.brando.com.hk
They usually arrive within 2 or 3 days of order.
I personally prefer the UltraClear version.
Reteb
i Agree! I like the smoothness of the silky one, but the ultra clear is very clear indeed!

Alternative Cases & Availability (UK)

I realise there have been a bunch of other posts on the topic of cases (see here and here) but I am after something a little bit different.
I have just had a forced upgrade from a hermes (ie I broke it and can't get a new one on my insurance, so had to "settle" for a Kaiser) which was working fine for me and I am now having o upgrade my accessories, but due to the way I use my phone I want particular style of case and either can't find it or it has been superceded by a "better" case.
Basically, it boils down to me wanting a one-handed case WITHOUT a belt clip (it's fat enough already, and I never use them).
And "one handed"? In other words I can take it out of my pocket with one hand, read the screen and put it back in my pocket without having to use my other hand. I am currently using the standard case and in order to read a text or see why it is buzzing I have to take it out of my pocket, open the case, take out the phone, put it back and put it back in my pocket, which seems bloody hard to do without using my other hand. An example of this is the PDair aluminium case for my old Hermes (which fits, but presses on the camera button, so is not suitable ).
So having exhausted my usual sourcs (MobileFun and Expansys), does anyone know of anything like this for sale in the UK?
Aside - I was interested in the Seidio Rubberised case, but I don't think it is available in the UK (I don't really want to be stung for £8/$15 Royal Mail charges when it is imported from the US), nor does it have a built in screen cover. If people know where to get one of those, that would be appreciated too.
Hi,
I am in a similar boat although I bought the Kaiser via T-Mobile out of informed choice and love the phone. The only case I have managed to find is the Seidio which seems to be perfect for what I need but yes, I too don't want to pay the high postage prices. I think the whole cost comes to around £35 in total, but if we could get it in the UK I'm sure it'd be under £20 retail. Maybe Expansys will stock it?
If Seidio are reading - are you in talks with expansys as a UK partner?
Cheers,
Pete.
UPDATE: Just heard from Expansys that they will be stocking the Seidio rubberised hard case in the very near future so just have to hang on a little longer for that perfect slim case.
I was continuing to look around and ordered a metal one of ebay. I was a little dubious, but it ended up costing me under £10 and fits my Kaiser and seems up to general wear and tear, which is what I wanted. And it really seems as good as the PDair one I had for my Hermes which cost me more.
It's ebay item number 160196604008 if you want one.

Where can I buy a 7500/01 in Australia?

Hi all,
I've been hunting on craigslist and fleabay for ages and most guys won't ship to Oz and the coupld that would I got outbid or gazumped and missed them.
There's like 2 on fleabay anyway as they don't seem to come up much. Short of paying 900USD for one new is there any where you can suggest I can pick up a second hand one? I have a budget and can pay reasonable money (they close on ebay in the US usually for around $600, the 7500 slightly more).
hi, i am in nsw & might be looking to part with my advantage 7510. would you like to email me at [email protected] to further discuss?
awesome, email sent. Is it really the 7510?

As the 7510 isn't released yet I would be VERY careful. Never hand over any money until you have the device in your hand.
i've emailed him and havent heard back yet but i'm sure it's just a typo as he's posted before about running it here in Oz with three.
just emailed back mactablet it is the 7501 not the 7510 sorry aout the typo there

for sale on ebay for $600 buy it now option

I had a lot of problems finding one to buy in Australia I eventually brought new from eXpansys Australia, they shipped over the UK model.
The Maps are all for the UK, so you have to get Aussie Tom Tom maps.
And if the advantage needs fixing it has to be sent away to the UK which takes a couple of weeks. I have had a problem with the keyboard pressing buttons when no one is touching it for a while now, (I think there is something wrong with the magnetics) but I won't send it away as I can't live without it for 2 to 3 weeks and I can do without the keyboard

HTC OEM Case: Will it work for Fuze?

The case below is a horizontal pouch style. I am curious about the fit. IT was originally marketed with the HTC Touch Dual styled devices. Do you guys think it would be a good fit for the Fuze?
http://cgi.ebay.com/HTC-TOUCH-OEM-E...14&_trkparms=72:1240|66:4|65:12|39:1|240:1318
The other option for me is another OEM case shown here:
http://www.windowsmobilenow.com/us/p_wm_acc1.aspx?i=169487&partner=wmusfroogle
If anyone has either of these cases I would really like your comments on fit. I expect the finish will be similar to the finish of the HTC OEM Tytn case that I currently carry. Any help is appreciated as i need to protect her soon. My front pocket is not the ideal carry spot for me and the Tytn case is simply too big for the Fuze.
I'm using the S322 case, magnetic closure instead of velcro, for my T-Mobile MDA Vario IV (Raphael 300).
Bit tight in the early days, but works like a charm.
You mention that yours has a magnetic closure instead of velcro. Did they release both variants? Where did you purchase from and how did you ensure that you got the right one.
I bought it at a mobile phone shop in the nearest city, don't remember which one...
It was in an original HTC blister packaging, they removed it so I could try it on my Vario IV.
As I already stated, a tight fit, so I handed over 16 € and left them the blister packaging
It has one magnet, not as powerfull as the two in the TyTN case but strong enough.
Don't know about the velcro closure, it's not mentioned on the Dutch site, it's mentioned on the UK site and the Expansys site. (who are running the European htc accessory store)
Thanks for your input. Unfortunately, most US dealers never carry OEM cases, and I am forced to buy online sight unseen. I like a snug fit that develops into a perfect fit as you've described so I guess I just need to make my purchase.

I actually saw the oem htc side case in BestBuy o.o In cell phones accessories. They had 100's of em! I was in shock. Never had I seen htc accessories in best buy. I found invisibleSHIELD and BodyGuardz for the iPhone and diamond too
Make my month by saying this was at a location within an hour or two of DC... PLEASE...

I have the one from the Best Buy link. It came with an HTC phone I bought some time ago. I can't even remember which one. BUT, alas it is simple too big for the Fuze.

Guys,
I will go to BestBuy to check this out in further detail. But in the meantime...
@Venelar,
Please post some photos of the phone in the case and out. I would love to see as many as you could post.
EDIT:
I went by my local BestBuy, and sure enough that is the exact case that I already have. IMNSHO that case is too large for the phone. I will be trying to secure the HTC PO S322.
Guys, I was on the HTC Forum where I saw this "customizable leather" case and some glowing reviews. It seems to be nice enough, and thought I would see any of the xda family had picked one up. I have never ween it mentioned here so I thought you guys would want to know. I think I'll order one.

Shameless nudge in hopes of grabbing attention/opinions.

I just ordered one of the A1 cases. Did you get your case? how was it?
I purchased this soft pouch case ( http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wir...=organic&utm_term=POS322&utm_campaign=froogle ) from the store in NYC. It's a tight fit at first, it even peeled away my screen protector (2 of them) at first but it becomes just right after awhile. The velcro could be a bit better too...

I sure did! Me and several others have them now. I took several pictures and wrote up my thoughts on the case here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=462940&highlight=easecase Take a look...
