i have flashed my device new with the german touch it final rom from tije, which worked wonderful for me installing it first time (a month ago)
now i have flashed the rom again yesterday and my device stucks in the htc startscreen. nothing works (hardreset, softreset, removing battery)
please tell me what to do
Go into bootloader mode and flash with the german RUU (see Wiki and search for Details)
Then you can flash again.

ok what you need to do is hold the camera key and then hit the reset button... thatwill put you in boot loader

but how can i flash my new rom now? i just checked the touch it final german rom from itje and i got the following message: no device connected - would you like to try copying again?
can i flash with official rom? how? i need active sync right?
ok everythings ok right now will flash with official htc wm6 now (works without active sync)
and then i will start again with itjes touch it rom, cause i know it works stable
EDIT: EVERYTHING WORKED FOR ME NOW, THIS IS HOW I LIKE IT ^^

Yesterday i^ve make a setup for the ext_rom but with a wrong update. It was been not for the Artemis..my fault.
Now i see only th et-mobile start screen and no more.
What can i do? Thanks in advance..
hmm, please flash your p3300 whith the original software with hope that it will be alive again. otherwise you can take an hardreset on your phone but i'm sure that there will not happened.
is your PDA an original fom HTC or from any other Provider?
it`s from t-mobile
and a hardreset doesn`t work and it`s not successful.

hello there!. i have the same problem, did you manage to get a usb connection? i can't flash it...
Try to get it into bootloader ( Read the Artemis wiki as to how to get into bootloader) and if you are successful then try flashing it with the t-mobile stock rom.

To get into bootloader - hold down the record/voice command button (top left along the side of the phone) and use the stylus to press the recessed reset button on the lower left side of the phone (same side as the other boutton you hold down) Keep holding the record button as you hit and release the reset button, you will eventually see a screen with color bars on it. At this point you will be able to get a USB connection, but not an active sync. Try to start the ROM file when the phone is in this state and connected to your computer.

I manage to enter bootloader and start flashing a ROM but I allways get a error: image file corrupted.
I think I need the original Dutch T-mobile ROM.
Anyone know where to find it?
Hi I have the same problem. I have the B&B3.7 and get stuck in the splash screen. I could enter to the bootloader mode and use some commands of the mtty.
I have my old rom, how may i load it to the pda? I have a SD and a tytn to load something in it.

run uspl first!!! you can then run installation from any provider of your choice.

USPL cannot be run if your phone is stuck into bootloader?
It starts counting, askts to copy the same information again several times, and get stuck at 50... how is this possible, anyone has the original HTC Dutch rom ? May be the WM5 also! Thanks!

i have done the same mistake
have tried to upgrade my T-MOBILE MDA COMPACT III(aka htc p3300) with the HTC TOUCH ROM
it started to upgrade and an error occured
then i have lost the display and all
when i connect it to my laptop using USB i hear a beep in my computer but active syn didnt find any device
i dont know what to do now..please help me it has to be recovered
there must be some way pls pls anyone help me to get my working phone back

well you have to get the original ROM for your device.. see their website.. it should be there for free. or try to get it from anyplace.. (the original rom)
and then flash it using SD Card flashing

I had the same Problem wirth MDA C3 and this one was bricked... But i don´t tried to start the bootloader mode (on/off + speech-dial hardware button together and than the softreset button, hold the other two buttons and press only short the softreset button)
May be than you should be able to flash it once more... However, i read this tip to late, i changed my divece before so i can´t garantee that it works....
But give him a try, it´s worth the time !!

u'll find it in the forums somewhere, u just need to flash it with a new ROM (and USPL if it isn't the original ROM) This can be done from Bootloader as suggested by Mr.Trader.

obtain the original rom for your device and flash it. it should be all fine.
after, install uspl, and then you flash with any rom again.

I tried to update my Shadow by the new wm6.1 rom.. the first time it went to 100% and restart with an error 270 : the image is corrupt . After, when I boot loader, it go to 2% and restart every time ( many) :
I'm stucked at bootloader mode and tried many roms but no one sucsess ... all of them reach 2% and then stopped.
even I tried the original one (Shadow_Software_Update_1.11.531.5.exe) from t-mobile official site but also same result.
so can any one help me and give me any solution to try?

I already tried to do this but...
* How can I upload sspl/uspl to my phone from bootloader because it's the only mode I can work my phone?
* when I tried to do USPL + RUU it go to 100% and then the phone restart and the RUU program says corrupted image...
then the phone stays in it's state (only can go to bootloader mode).
can I use MTTY program to flash sspl/uspl and USPL and then the new rom? if yes .. how I can do it?

if you can only get to the bootloader then try flashing to the t mobile rom, then start over

Power off the phone
Press and hold the camera and voice keys
Insert the USB cable, Keep holding the camera and voice keys until you get the bootloader screen
Then flash an original ROM.
Hi all,
a few days ago I installed IlSalgo 6.5 rom because sometimes i've found my polaris with 3lit3 rom powered off.
This morning after I powered on my polaris it stopped at the first screen (on energy star) and then it shutdown.
I tried with an hard reset while it starts, but nothing changes...
Could you help me?

try to put into bootloader; hold camera and press the reset hole.
Then when in this flash your stock rom that was shipped with it or the 6.1 upgrade that was released. See if that brings it back to life!
Let us know what happens after that and go from there.
I tried putting it into bootloader... it shows the colors screen and then shutdown....
But now it works....(finally it stopped on colors screen without power off)
maybe after i removed the microSd (i tried with and without microSd, with and without sim, soft reset, hard reset, bootloader)
this evening i'll try using again my microSd card...

i'm trying to change rom.... (pcarvalho eXtreme) because after I restored the rom.... it stopped working again...
in the pcarvalho rom page there is "flash this rom 1st if you have any stability issues" (the original htc rom)
ok, i'm flashing my htc....
i'm on 31% and the update is blocked.....
is there a way to avoid problems? now I think the only thing i can do, is to remove the usb cable or kill the update process....
please help me...

check radio version always
After I have installed the maatiROM.V3 ROM, my phone has not been able to boot into Windows properly.
It booted into Windows the first time after I installed the ROM, however, when I tried to restore the programs and reset the device, it tries to install the ROM automatically again, however, after its all done and reset, it holds on a white screen with the HTC logo.
Can someone please give me some advice?
Download youre Original rom for youre device. and get the Leo in 3 colour screen then connect the usb and flash the Original rom back.. than it must work.

but I dont know I need to use SSPL to install it or not....

Just download it from HTC support site... no need to use SSPL for this as it is the original ROM...

I dont know which version should I install
I got two version now
one is Official WM6.5 ROM - HTC HD2 (Leo) - English Asian Version(1.48.707.2)
the other is Leo_HKCSL_CHT_1.48.832.1-this is a chinese version which released by CSL (CSL is the provider which sell the phone to me, but my original rom is 1.48.831.0 (71294) WWE(English))
so I am very confuse now...
dont know which one is suitable....

now, the phone can get into windows(maatiROM.V3 ROM),but the phone keeping crash...and I reset it....the phone will re-install the windows(maatiROM.V3 ROM) again.... then crash again, and I reset again, and the phone re-install again.....keeping repeat crash, and I reset it, and re-install windows.......

In my opinion you can try the folowing:
- Remove sim and memory card and do a hard reset (with phone off , keep holding down the volume up and volume down keys and press power button, release all butons then press volume up again to restore manufacrurer deaults)
- Try to enter in boot mode (with phone off , keep holding the volume down and press power button) then flah again your phone
- If none of these helps and you can't find the original rom then use the GOLDCARD method. So make yourself a goldcard (serch the forum and you will find how to do that), boot your phone into flash mode with goldcard inside and you will be able to flash any original rom to your device

It happened to me and I found out it is one of the reg tweaks in combination of a cab I installed did not work with maatiROM. The rom itself is stable and I use the Premium, which version did you use?
