Hi , i have a trouble on my htc, i haved had flash the rom and i use the password to protecte my data, when my htc reboot i have a message to insert my password but it's don't work and now my htc is blocked
now i can't flash with any version when i tried to flash the hard spl is say that the image is corrupted :s
can someone halp me

put the device into bootloader mode (hold power button, camera button and do a soft reset), then re-flash with another rom, this way you wont even get to the password screen, you can re-flash without the active sync connection, hell, u can even flash straight from the SD card....granted, it takes ages....but it can be done. Good luck.

thank you i have do a hard reset by pressing ( call bouton (green color) and stop bouton (red color) and stylet then i reflash my rom.
i have another problem, i have install tomtom but it can't found my gps :s there is any upgrade to do that ? do you have a url?

To enter Bootloader you simply have to push and hold both CommManager and Camera button while performing a Softreset with the Stylus! AFter that you must see a three-coloured screen with some text at the top (SPL version) and "Serialö" in the underpart!
Does this happen to you?

make hard reset. if is not working, install a clean wm6 version, official one. And don't forget about CID Unlock

Do a hard reset yes. I had the same problem once and this helped me.
Hard reset= hold both selection button next to green and red button.
Keep them push down and switch on your Artemis. Afterwards you will get a question. To proceed is pushing the green key.
Your Artemis will be restarted again with all basic (use lost all your contacts but you still be able to activesync them back if you did make a backup)

After, you can flash a ROM again...
One fine day it refused to startup. No matter how many resets i do it always hangs up at the startup screen. "windows mobile" written on the top and HTC at the bottom. Tried soft resetting, hard resetting, nothing works. Am able to get into the bootloader mode though(by pressing ok button and power button then hitting reset, no clue what that mode is for.)
I have no clue what to do ? how to get it to work again. Could some one help please??
is this on a 6.1 rom?
if so
Get into bootloader mode (side ok and power buttons and reset)
Test for bad blocks via mtty and fix if need be.
Flash carrier rom (AT&T official rom reccomended)
Reflash 6.1 rom
however if it is just from official rom go to bootloader mode install hardspl and reflash your current rom
Hi guys.
I recently installed Onyx Micro on my Elf, and it's been great. I needed a "Home" panel though, so I installed a Home application that I had on my memory card, and after that reset, my phone's been unusable. When i turn it on, it either hangs, or gives me an error that says something to the effect of "phonesyslog has malfunctioned", and then freezes.
I can't get it connected with Actiesync, I can't hard-reset it either. Any idea what I can do?
Can anyone help me?

Did you try removing the memory card? In case that doesn't help, try pressing the camera button while starting up, this should enter the bootloader mode, which enables you to flash a new rom. Do this in Windows XP, as Vista can cause problems. If you've never flashed a rom, try searching this forum for an appropriate rom and a how-to-guide.

Hard reset should work and should be all you need to solve your problem. Make sure that you are performing the hard reset correctly.
For a hard-reset without access to the systems menu do the following:
Make sure the device is switched off, then press both the green and the red phone button and while keeping them pressed switch on the device.
A menu should appear, asking you to confirm the hard-reset.
(Upon confirmation, all data will be erased and the out-of-box state will be restored.)
In case that doesn't work, try flashing a rom that is native to your device
(as suggested above).

I tried to update my Shadow by the new wm6.1 rom.. the first time it went to 100% and restart with an error 270 : the image is corrupt . After, when I boot loader, it go to 2% and restart every time ( many) :
I'm stucked at bootloader mode and tried many roms but no one sucsess ... all of them reach 2% and then stopped.
even I tried the original one (Shadow_Software_Update_1.11.531.5.exe) from t-mobile official site but also same result.
so can any one help me and give me any solution to try?

I already tried to do this but...
* How can I upload sspl/uspl to my phone from bootloader because it's the only mode I can work my phone?
* when I tried to do USPL + RUU it go to 100% and then the phone restart and the RUU program says corrupted image...
then the phone stays in it's state (only can go to bootloader mode).
can I use MTTY program to flash sspl/uspl and USPL and then the new rom? if yes .. how I can do it?

if you can only get to the bootloader then try flashing to the t mobile rom, then start over

Power off the phone
Press and hold the camera and voice keys
Insert the USB cable, Keep holding the camera and voice keys until you get the bootloader screen
Then flash an original ROM.
