Need a nice leather pouch case - 8525 ? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Accessories

Is it safe to assume that an 8525 case will fit the Tilt the same ?
I'm looking for a pouch-type case.
Thanks,
DLD

I have alot of experience with Gizmoskin.com i have had 4 of their cases for different phones.
I got the treo 750 case, which is within a mm on each side.
its awesome. I love their cases, secure, slim and ratcheting clip - the leather is TOP quality.
there is a little play at at the top of the case as far as fit, but it doesn't bother me and there is no worry of the phone falling out or anything, but it has some freedom to shift in the case.
FYI, the standard shipping is REALLY slow - to florida it can take like a good 2 weeks, cause they ship from canada. On the other hand, with overnight, ordered on thurs, shipped friday, at my house monday before 9 am. Pricey, but, it was there.
Good Luck!
fyi, with the case set horizontally, the phone feels like it weighs nothing. I wear alot of gym/ basketball shorts that have no strong waist support and it does not pull it out at all. i'm super happy.

Thread moved to Kaiser accessories.

nobody knows if the 8525 cases fit the kaiser properly ?
dld

It fits, but the TYTN2 is smaller. I use a SP6 Pouch Case and its fine.

I'm using a leather pouch case with a strong, rotating, belt clip I got at Best Buy that is intended for the Treo 650. Since the 650 is no longer available the case was reduced from $29.99 to $8.99 and it's a perfect fit.

yes, it fits. I'm using my TyTN case with my Kaiser (Tilt). the Kaiser is a bit narrower so not as tight a fit but it works.
I am also looking for a horizontal case with a belt clip for the Kaiser. Most of what I have seen so far are generics that fit 'most devices'.
Thinking about Vaja ...

Cheap Good Leather Cases

Good News: This case was made for the ZUNE, but it is amazingly able to fit the Kaiser perfectly and still have access to soft keys with added screen protection via the transparent plastic front.
Bad News: These cases have been discontinued and i've not been able to find any of these online or in any other stores.
This case is HARD. I've gotten leather cases in the past and they were soft but this one is far more protective/user friendly than any others, I might be able to get my hands on a couple more if they are not sold out locally within the next couple of days, If any one is interested post. (I paid $10 for mine)

Looks pretty nice, but does it "muffle" the microphone? I wanted a nice leather case, but finding one to fit exactly here in the states was difficult. The one ATT sells looks like it was made for a Treo or something.
I was in my TMO place to pick up an HTC car charger and they had a really nice black leather vertical case combo wiith the car charger for 30 bucks. (This is a Wing starter kit).
I prefer horizontal cases, but since the charger alone was 25 bucks, for 5 more I gave it a whirl. Happy with it, but it doesn't offer the same level of protection as the cloth HTC case that came with my TyTN2.
Moving to Kaiser Accessories.
Will leave a redirect here for a couple of days.

The mic is covered by the leather but I haven't noticed much of a difference. This is a swivel back so it can be positioned as either vertical or horizontal.
i have the same exact problem! i wanted a case that had cover for the front screen so i can use the phone in answering or talking with and take the phone out quickly for other functions... but i dont see hardly any cases with the cheapo plastic protection that i had easily found for my previous 8525 :/
ive been using this case for a week now and Ive found it extremly easy to still use the touchscreen while its in the case, also the snap top that keeps the phone in the case is easy to undo and take the phone out when needed, there are only about 4 left locally so let me know if your interested ASAP!

Silicone Skin and Screen Protector

I just received this:

and a screen protector from this ebay seller:http://stores.ebay.ca/SkyTechStore
Great quality products, the silicone skin reminds me of the one I purchased from Blackberry when I had my BOLD, shipping was fast and very good value for the $$$. The skin doesn't add any bulkiness on the phone.
Both accessories were manufactured by LUXMO- Luxury Mobile
Would recommend.
Igot the same skin....I paid 5.99 for it and 2 bucks for shiping. I was pleasantly surprised when i saw it was the exact same one as the ones for sale on Treo Central....right down to the little x logo on the back bottom corner.
They want 14.99 for it there.......
How long have you had yours?
I got mine off eBay about 1 month ago. After a couple weeks it had gotten some pretty bad scratches in it. I just switched to Invisable Sheild but am even less happy with that
*sigh*
I've had it a week or so.....what do you mean scratches on the phone itself inside from the case rubbing or scratches in the rubber/silicone case?
I thought about the fact that dirt and grit can get in and under the rubber pretty easy and am thinking of a different type of case now.....
Sorry I wasn't clear. I was meaning the screen protector has several scratches. I have never had a screen protector scratch to easy.
I do not have a screen protector on the Pro yet....Im trying to use the navigation buttons as much as possible and im trying to get away from using the stylus.
One thing I do with my PDA's that i learned from a friend is to take the tip of the stylus and rub it against your cheek. Since its such a sensitive spot you'll feel any sharp edge or points that could cause damage.
My treo's in the past were no problems but this tip seems a bit cheaper and seemed to have a mold edge on it that i lighting sanded down.
They all might not be like mine but yours could have a bit of a rough edge.....

Either you got a deal or a special sale -- I saw that $5.99 price, too. It had gone up to $11.50 by the next week. But still cheaper than TreoCentral.
Some pics to see how it looks!!!

Cheap good xoom case UK

Well I don't normally do this, but I ordered a case from eBay and within 2 days it arrived
The cost of this leather case including postage was £12.98 (free postage)
It's got quite a good solid feel to it and fit's my xoom very well, I half expected it to be rubbish for the money but it's not.
I would highly recommend this to any xoom owner. It's the only one I found that you have access to all ports and also allows the indicator light to show through when I get an email.
Mines the 3G version but I dont think that makes a difference. Also because the flap has a crease in it, this allows it to stand up for watching a film BUT if you lay it down the other way you use it to type on. Using it this way puts the xoom upside down sadly but it then allows you to charge it from the top
O.. and did I mention you also get a FREE screen protector with it!! I haven't fitted mine yet however.. I hate doing them because I always mess up and end up with lots of bubbles and fluff.. lol
Apol's if this is breaking any rules, but I'm that impressed with it I thought I would pass this on.
The current eBay link is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250793933011
Happy xoom'in
Steve
Ermmm not wery well made. I have the same and the xoom dosn't fit properly.

It is not the only one which provides access to all sensors and buttons, and it doesn't provide access to charger port while being closed - as all other currently known cases.
Btw, you posted that in the wrong forum...
this is the one i got and its great. Had no problems with the ports, the holes some to be in the perfect position.

only "down side" (not sure if it is even that bed to be called that), is that the "hinge" of the case is at the bottom. So when charging the case cannt be closed all the way, btu i just fold it back(so the screen is not covered) when chargin and put in a drawer.
apart from what its a very good case for under £15.
that looks like its the same case. I think for the money its a bargain.
Had my xoom for few days now and loving it. Starting to use it more and more now... looking forward to the uk 3.1 update. From what I've been reading it might be out on the 27th may...
Fingers crossed
I bought the tuff-luv pull-tab case from eBay for about £14. Very nice.
Hi guys, I bought this one.
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/view...=1&nav=WON&nid=32518807697&trxId=583007023013
Only £4.99 with free delivery
The case is a nice tight fit and adds no bulk, all port holes are a perfect match.
Best device case I've bought (cheapest too)
Screen protector that came with it was one of the cheaper ones that leave smear marks etc but I decided not to use it, I bought the item just for the case anyway.
I can't rate it highly enough guys.

Cool thanks.
and it even went down $10 lol
I asked the same exact question to Sprint and they basicly told me it's because they have too many issues with slider phones. I'm starting to think that phones with slide outs are more prone to break in many ways.

Yes they are more prone to breakage if not engineered, and built with the correct materials. Perfect examples of this were the Touch Pro, and the Touch Pro2. The TP broke the damm Flex Cable usually after only a few months of usage. Then there was also the Slider that became loose and wobbly after about a year. The TP2 corrected both of these. But not perfectly at first. The first thing they did better on the TP2 was make a way beefier Slider mechanism. Actually a stamped steel piece, vs the cheap pot metal used on the Original TP. They also laminated the Flex Cable. The one on the original was just a thin plastic film over it. But even laminated the Cable would wear. So what they did on the Final run of the TP2 was actually coat the Cables in a sort of rubber. Which made them almost unbreakable, almost. Thing is the cost was too much. On the Shift they used the same kind of stamped steel slider, very sturdy. But then used a pot metal tray ( weak ). So that is the weak point of the Slider, why it gets loose after a while. The Cable is another not so great thing. Same lame thin plastic film over it. I was actually thinking of maybe the next time I replace one. Coating it first with a Rubber laminate at the spot where it see the most wear. Because out of all the ones I've repaired it is usually the same spot. Or within a 1/4" either way.

[Q] To case or not to case

Hello all,
So I recently purchased a Note 4. I have to admit that the device looks gorgeous, and I can't decide if I should put a case on it or not. What do you guys prefer and why?
I use s view as my case and it still look weel
Note 4 easy to get scratch so i decide to get a case.
How well does the S view case work, and is it worth the money?
I use a case. Doesn't look near as nice but feel it's needed to be safe. A good case is like insurance, you might not need it but if something happens you can't get it after the fact.
That's actually a good way of putting it. Thanks a bunch.
Being such a costly device I also wanted a cover, but was afraid to ruin the feeling of the phone.
First had a S-View cover, but that just made the phone awkward to hold. and really just easier to drop if you try to take pictures because the flap have to hang down or sideways...
then bought a samsung protective cover, best cover I had on a phone. it made the phone ever better to hold and doesn't add so much bulk. I really recommend you give it a try.

Got the Rinke slim tpu case from Amazon. After buying the s-view case which is horribly awkward and a bulky case from caseology I find the Rinke slim case amazing.
I always use a case. I usually resell my phones or trade them in and you can get a lot more for a mint-condition device than one covered in wear & tear. Also, I like being able to dress up my phone in different "outfits", haha.
I have the purple tech 21case ffrom T-Mobile along with a few others that I got from the accessory shops here in Dallas. Right now my N4 is wearing a purple & blue imitation otterbox, its very cute & extremely protective
